Great tip on moving solutions into pressure sprayers from pump sprayers. Doesn't really sound like that big of a deal but it makes a huge difference, just like you said. Simple but powerful. Thank you, Oscar.
Great info I have all of that but I delayed spending the money for way too long before purchasing those proper tools. Life is easier with the right tools
Everyone I recommend buying a Black & Decker drill to use because it’s super lightweight and it works. Get a second battery though so you can keep on moving
Hi Oscar! I recently found your channel. I started taking cleaning my car more seriously this summer and began learning more about it. Your content is very helpful to me! Detail Techniques as well as purchasing techniques alike! Thanks!
The multipro 2’s are pretty good. They do have differences. The psi is 58 on marolex vs 45 on ik thus giving you more flow on ik which is why you have to pump more. The pump itself I feel is much more sturdy and smooth on the IK. As far as looks are concerned Hands down the multi pro 2 is beautifully designed. The Marolex lettering on the bottle fades after a while which sucks but you can use it upside down and that’s cool. Ik you can get on autogeek or detailedimage for 20 or 25 percent off sales all the time where as marolex is only sold at luxurymicrofiber which rarely has discounts.
Mr. clean Magic eraser’s work awesome on light color interior plastics, and leather to but you got to be careful that you don’t burn through the color.
I love the magic erasers, just be mindful and careful when using. The Auto Fiber scrub ninja does the same as magic eraser just a little less aggressively. I recommend checking it out if you ever get a chance. Chelsea from Attention 2Detail turned me on.
Did you read my fall comment? I said already that a person must be careful with the magic eraser duh! What the fuck is wrong with these people and to the video why are you guys worried about making your fingers work too hard? Yes using pump sprayers are faster but is far is affecting your body? If you are hurting from pumping a trigger on a spray bottle then you are definitely in the wrong business. Yes maybe my hand gets tired but I don’t even think about it also I am worried about is the time it takes me to complete a detail I’m not worried about how my body feels LOL you guys are freaking pussies if you’re worried about how your body is affected. I’ve been doing this shit for 25 years and I would run laps around Half my age and I’m 40 years old
Great video, I actually asked a question similar to this topic on your live the other day and it was addressed in this video as well as on live. Appreciate the tips 🔥🔥🔥 thanks again
Philip Nick yes they are great and I’ve been using them for many years on my engines and I fill it with purple power degreaser, full strength. My engines are so clean I will lick them LOL no but super purple is better than Super Clean degreaser what detail groove uses. And it’s cheaper. With my business I get a 5 gallon jug of purple power for $35 versus super clean on Amazon goes for $18.95 for a gallon, LOL do your research detailers.
Hey great videos. Had one question when extracting and agitating. When you extract is there a reason why the product is hard to remove completely from the seat.
An extractor makes it easier and quicker to remove the cleaner from the seat because it essentially rinses the fabric and loosens up cleaner and sucks it up ASAP
The sole reason an extractor is resourceful is not the actual rinsing you mentioned. It’s the extremely hot water that is forced into the upholstery and carpet then pulled up by a heavy duty vac. So really the heat of the extractor is what breaks down the layers.
Thank you sharing your wisdom brother. May God bless you and continue to prosper your business. 3 John 1:2 “Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
It's hard to find the exact info I need. Is there any way I could pick your brain more personally? I've been detailing for 4 yrs and I'm always looking to improve! Thank you 😊
Bro I cleaned my car inside and out every 3 days. Put Borax around the seal of the car. Also took the mats out of the car.. I’m starting to think the roaches are coming from the neighborhood cars in the apartment where I stay. Is there anything I’m missing
Hey man question have you a protocol you tell customers to do after shampooing interior such as leave windows down and leave heater running for a certain amount of time to prevent bad smells ?
A lot of detailers shampoo first, so it can dry in time for the customer. I imagine Oscar just extracts the carpet and then blots it with a towel, making sure it’s dry enough for the customer
I vaccum the big pieces off the floors, vaccum the seats then my partner and I spray, scrub, agitate and go into shampooing all the seats then wiping and dressing the dash and trim panels, cleaning and polishing the doors and touchup vaccum on the floor by then the seats would be dry so we'd call the customer out and have them inspect it or if they want the outside wash we do that, inspect inside.. making sure we got everything then call them out and bam.... drying seats with towels takes to long, I live in the Bahamas it's always hot here so the sun is a detailers best friend here.... except when you're polishing lol
Sounds exactly like my process. I'm from Barbados 🇧🇧 so I understand your climate well, that's why I like Oscar, he works in great similar to us. I wish we had cool temps like some other guys lol
yo, what was that sprayer you used to pretreatment the upholstery? its not a handheld pump sprayer because it has a wand! what is that product called please
@@thatcaddydude4202 just go to Home Depot, Menards and pick out a weed sprayer. They’ll all work similar because you can adjust the flow of the chemical sprayed
Hi Oscar!! I just want to ask you this because I'm planning to start my own detailing business one of the person I offer my service told me that I have to include his air filter for aircon because its part of the "INTERIOR" and the others told me that I have to include their engine under the hood which is confusing and discouraging.
I know you’re asking Oscar but I believe I can provide some insight as I’m a detailer myself. Make a list on your phone or on paper of everything you include in a detail. If someone wants you to include something that isn’t on your list, just explain to them that you’re sorry but you don’t offer that or charge them extra. Personally, I don’t currently shampoo carpets or upholstery because I haven’t perfected the use of an extractor, which I always make clear and some people don’t like it, others don’t mind. It’s all about communication.
Hey guys, i am from germany and my english isn‘t the best. I will startup my own buisness as a car detailer and need your help. I want just to know which chemical is the best one to clean the seats or the carpets with stubborn stains? Also it will be nice to know which chemical do you use for the plastic interior of the car ?
So.. you guys are gonna say this is a liability but… I just bought a bunch of 1.25 gal HF sprayers, used a 1/2 inch forstner bit to make holes and installed tire valves on em lol. There IS a label that says 30 PSI max, so we don’t blow em up but since I have so many damned Ryobi products, I figured I might as well get the portable inflator. So, you fill it 30-35 PSI, give it a pump or 2 to top it off and you’re in business. Takes 10 seconds (including grabbing the inflator) lol
I watch a lot of car detailing on RUclips. You guys have found a niche with fast and effective but I feel lack a little bit of quality when compared to others. Which is fine, there is a middle ground for people who want your type of services. I see that you still use tools that are industry or "boutique" standard, I just get the feeling that as soon as you start a job you're thinking of the next. This is IMO...not a knock, just perspective...
Watch one of my recent videos. There's a significant difference between RUclips detailing and detailing as a business. One is for entertainment and views, the other is running a business. I've done both. Nothing wrong with either. Someone that spends 12+ hours on a job that will take us 4 hours on a job will look different on video

Picked up a pump sprayer from Harbor Freight for $5. Works pretty good.
I gave one for apc, degreaser, tire shine saves lots of time and hand pain!
I did the same and the spray pattern and amount it sprays sucks. I picked up a chemical guys one and it’s so much better
Harbor freight 1 wears out in a few weeks its garbage... If u pump too fast the rubber gasket in the tube fails from too much friction and quits

Question , when cleaning and extracting the seats/ carpet does it tend to dry with in those 3/4 hours or do you do a light pass?
It dries within 45 minutes on a warm day. The colder, the longer it takes
Do you use a drill brush on leather or just fabric?
Primarily just fabric material. Ever now and then on door panels
