The subscribe note at the beginning is better and better every time. Today's was especially great. As a subscribed user I got a hook for a next week and I think not yet subscribed people will appreciate it too. However, I don't like that there wasn't any bottom third banner during the end sponsor thing, but it's not that big of a problem.

Sonic Jensen I didn't like them as well, because previously it was just literally just like, "if you don't want to miss our future content - subscribe" than many people complained and I'm not sure if it it thanks to me but I asked to change it on something where we will get some info about what is coming up. So for next 2 weeks it was always like "this thing is yellow, you know what else is yellow corsairs new logo, we have a new keyboard, we will review it, plz subscribe" And now he even said when it is coming out. It's less and less annoying every time. I think I'm starting to like it.

Great review . direct, detailed and objective. I've just made my mind regarding my new pair of in ear headphones. I like bose but its products don't last that much, basically regarding the cable. In the end Sennheiser in ear headphones seem to be more durable and with a decent sound quality. Thanks.

I personally have the shure se215's,and the only thing I have to say about using them is that you need to use a good custom eq to get the most out of them. On my one m8,the stock eq made them sound muddy which was the same result on my schiit magni. A good eq fixed the issue and they really started to sound amazing

I have been through many many headphones while working in a metal shop for the last 10 years. Ive been through all of ultimate ears products up to tf10s. And shures are the only ones that have more than a year on one cable. they don't sound as good as many of my other iems but they are bomb proof. and I'm a cable killing monster.

so based purely on sound quality you would recommend the momentum over the shure?I am trying to decide between one or the other, amazon is out of stock of the momentum at time of writing so im not shure( haha shure get it....) if i should wait and get the shure instead

I strongly vouch for shure products. As a proud owner of many of their microphones, headphones and iems, including the se215, ive never had issues relating to durability.
Im an audio engineer and have used numerous iems for personal monitoring or leisure music listening.
My se215 has been beaten up really badly, cables half chewed off cause it was caught in my jacket zipper, accidentally pulled them out of my ear from tugging on the cable, walked in the rain without an umbrella and they still work as when i first got them! Its been almost 3 years since i got them and i only sent them in for servicing once cause i was clumsy enough to drop one of the earpiece into a cup of coffee lololol.
Maybe your mate just had a faulty unit.

I was thinking whether to get these or the Fischer Audio Tandem. In the end I got the Tandem. I kind of regretted it after I bought the Tandem as I prefer those with stronger bass. Do you guys think I make a wrong decision of choosing the Fischer Audio Tandem? Advice please.

You're first point is true your second... I do not agree with just because there is dust means they aren't good tech reviewers? A lot of tech guru's are not organized when it comes to keeping things clean. Believe me I know although there are some of them that will be fanatic saying MUST CLEAN but not many.

Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear or Jaybirds X2?
Not considering the Wired vs Wireless characteristic, what would you guys go with?
jaybirds X2 is a sports earpiece ... and I never go for sports one because they are focused on comfort rather than the sound quality...
So, would obviously choose sennheiser over sporty X2
sennheiser, they come with xs s m and l earbuds , for msot people the xs and the s fit better i can jum,p around and they never fall out.

I honestly can't use my EarPods without cringing anymore, because of the so much better sound on the Momentums! :D Although, I still use my EarPods when laying down, as I can't do that with the Momentums. My friend has these too, and he says he can if he uses the smaller tips.
Against apple earbuds the sennheiser have better isolation and they have a very crispy high end... But bass-mids are really lacking. I don't like them and haven't yet found an high quality substitute for EarPods with "medium" isolation and good bass delivery ... Any hint?

I love the signature of these as I hear alot of mid-heavy songs and with the momentums i also hear all the other sounds better. For example the constant background base in Heart On by Celldweller is much more magnificant.

Bought these 2 months ago. Sound is great. But poorly made. Ear buds pop off almost every time i pull them out. Cable split right down the middle (second time for this company's product) and sound cut out on one side. Company refuses to replace them because the damage isn't "natural". You would be crazy to dole out 100 plus bucks for this shoddy product made by a company that doesn't stand behind it's own workmanship (they called them "sensitive" in refusing my request for replacement).
The tips pop off? Geez, must be a common Sennheiser problem then, since my CX 5.00G has the exact same issue.

Luke Busby-Smith I actually fought and got a replacement pair and guess what?? That's right: split in the same damn spot. I gave up. They got me. My usage is riding on a crowded train with some degree of pulling and walking with them in my pants pocket. If a pair of earbuds can't handle that then they ain't for me I guess. On the other hand I bought a pair of Audio-Technica BKS77 and they sound better and are more rugged (and the damn earpads dony come out every time my phones do)
elvistheripper I will try fight for a replacement or a refund as the store I bought them from offered a 3 year warranty but they refused me in their but stated If came in when the general manager is their he could possibly over ride the warrant and refund me; it's ridiculous how they can slap a 2 year warranty on but not stand by it at all. I've had £5 earphones that last longer.
Luke Busby-Smith yup. I feel you. I called the shop every day for a week or so haha and made them give me the ticket number and contact name at the manufacturer to prove the ticket was open. The shop ended up refunding. You might try that or send all of this info to Seinheiser themselves and complain you are getting a rough ride from the retailer. It's too much cash to just write off.

Did you mean a 4690? :D Otherwise, yeah, pretty nice build. The one thing i can think of that would be limiting you, would be the processor. Even a 4790k may struggle in for example a 64 player Seige of shanghai game.

umm....OK? The run a business with probably hundreds of thousands of dollars of computer and server equipment and around 10 workers. Do you really think they could get by on RUclips Ad revenue? They upload on 3 channels. Of course they're going to get sponsors. Don't let this scare you. They have plenty of poor reviews of products they got for free from their sponsors, so I believe they're at least mostly unbiased.

mo_onstruck musick does that really matter? you can look it up yourself. He doesn't mention the full specs of graphics cards when he reviews them either, because they don't matter as much as the actual performance does.
Eric W. if the earphones frequency is 20hz to 20khz, it falls in human hearing range.. if the earphone has frequency below 20hz, it will respond to low frequencies clear as compared to one with 20hz.. same with high frequencies ..
the low the minimal frequency is, the better bass response..
so, specs does matter cuz you can not listen to earphones until you have em with you..
About sensitivity - the high the sensitivity is, the more the loudness of the earphones with better clarity..
brainwavz proalpha is 115db..
sennheiser has less than 115db... i guess 100db..

Watched this and bought the Sennheisers. I totally agree; after going from IEs which loop over the ears these are unbelievably uncomfortable. The noise just from moving around feels deafening

Just a quick recommendation for future audio tech reviews and such, listen to the headphones/earbuds with various genres of music and make some kind of chart to show where each one performs the greatest in. That or you could make a whole new segment in your audio videos with the same concept.

I've used Aviate for some time now and I must say that it is one of the best third-party launchers. It incorporates many convenient functions, BUT I find it difficult to place my own widgets on it.
