Agreed. I was gonna thumbs up the video until I heard it was sponsored by the company who made the product he was reviewing. PS, put that at the start of the video, not the end.
Agreed. Hence, I watched some other established reviewers, and while they don't gush over the earphones as much as he does, they do say they are a decent set. Personally, I have always used Sennheiser, and I've never been disappointed.
@@Wireddreemz I did buy them based on multiple reviews and am very happy with them but I still give no credit to a video sponsored by the company who made the product.
It is sponsored by Sennheiser because they probably gave him those headphones for free and then he recommends other models. Not necessarily because they paid him to say what he said (which tbh I don't have a hard time believing because Sennheiser quality is so good, you'll probably never find such a good pair for the same price).
Worth mentioning, the Momentums 2.0 and the HD 1s (regardless of format; In-Ear, On-Ear, Over-Ear) are virtually the same hardware. They changed the model name because they were not able to get the rights to the Momentum moniker. Not a complaint, because the price did not change. But there's no sound difference between the two. Don't listen to anyone that says otherwise. Good review, thank you.
Thankyou for your detailed input on audiophile sounding earbuds im serious about audio sound but need portable headphones definitely a very good choice
thanks gamesky for recomend these this is the most worth it wireless earphones out there its more worth it than powerbeats or even method ink wireless..
Nice review as always! I hope you get through your tough times soon.... I know Sennheiser has offered to sponsor some of your videos but I hope this isn't a biased review, cuz you didn't seem to pick out any cons..... Either the headphones are flawless or your review may be colored....
+abhijeet baliga definitely not. I always give my opinion and will never be bias. I love these and I am not the biggest fan of in-ears.....that says alot
Great review.. I just ordered a pair of the HD1's...can't wait... It took a lot of research and headache to narrow down my options... My final two came to these and the Bose QC30's.... I like to ride bike and reviews on the bose were not practical for that... Your review sealed the deal... Thanx.
Just ordered the LAST stock of theses babies on a Sennheiser online reps, lol, feel beloved and waiting for this BLAST coming~ Nice review and thank you a million
The Philips SHB5950 are absolutely amazing in both sound and comfort. They stay in place perfectly for me. You can find them for just under $50 on sale at Target.
Iamdudeman12 buy the jabra pace they cost $99 or if you want them refurbished they cost you $39.99 on eBay sold by jabra they are like new I got me a brand new one for $99.99 and got the $39.99 as well the $39.99 looks like new and I have no problem with them I say try the $39.99 ones and I'm sure you'll be happy with them I wish I didn't paid $99.99 when they came out and got the $39.99 one same thing just cause they are refinished
i would take any Sennheiser product without seeing review..i totally trust them..hey and these HD 1 are the Aston Martin of earphones world..the luxurious , sporty, and no doubts about performance...its name is HD1 , its should be name should be Sennheiser Royal Beats .
Hello. I have the Sennheiser Momentum In Ear wired. I love their V shaped sound signature. Have you (or someone) compared the sound of this wireless headphones with the original wired version? Thanks in advance for your reply.
I bought this in 2020 and compared it with bose sony and Other senheiser’s but soundstage on this one is the best which makes your entertainment experience live as if you are sitting in the theatre or studio itself
i listen to everything. it would be hard to say a favorite. i like everything from heavy metal, hip-hop, edm, pop, some country (not much) and the list could go on and on
Nice review. Only thing I didn't like was the price, but that's not your fault. I've listened to a few wireless earbuds, but they don't impress me with their sound quality. These sound promising.
Please i need your recommendation...i know the sennheiser HD1 over-the-ears momentum wireless is not a rival for these sennheiser HD1 in-ear momentum wireless, but in terms of sound quality, bass presence and sound stage do you think they are close or are the over-the-ears way much better than these in-ears?
I'm currently using the mpow jaws gen 5 and would like to upgrade to something like this. The problem is that i really, really, really don't want to have a pair where I'll have to let the eartips dangle when not in use. Why do none of the top brands make s pair where the tips are retractable or attachable??
Gamesky np man! I have a slight obsession with headphones.. so I watch all the headphone reviews.. your channel is one of the best! just technical enough to be relavant without being boring! love it.. ive always wanted to start my own channel but no idea where to start.
+Michael Kaufman the best advice I can give is just start, learn along the way and know it takes a while to get comfortable in front of a camera. At least it did for me anyways
I have issues with connectivity with my "around the neck" lg tone headphones when my phone is behind my body (in my back pocket or in my messenger bag). I love the convenience and comfort, but the antenna is easily blocked by my body that way. Did you test the hd1 set at all with your phone in different pockets?

i have not tried the Bose yet, but the Sennheiser has the better sound between them and the Jaybird. If you want a nice punch in bass the Sennheiser definitely do the trick and although I know it is hard to believe......the newest BeatsX is also very good
Thanx for reply well what is the power backup of this Sennheiser hd 1 earphones. Is it comfertable around neck while jogging, running and during workouts?Because some of get slipped down during running. And if we compare between beats x and Sennheiser hd 1 which is best among them?
I totally agree with your comments. Just bought them 30 minutes ago (didn’t read or watch any review prior to purchasing). I compared them to other in-earphones from Sony, RAH, JBL, and the slightly cheaper sennheiser model, but to no avail these Sennheiser Momentum earphones are just amazingly better. Just the right blend and quality of treble and bass. I bought purely based on the quality of the sound, not based on looks or price or third-party reviews. I listen to pop, rock, and R&B. I paid USD226.
Hey mate. Can you tell me little bit about audio technica ath-anc40bt. There is no review about this in ear earphone. I am confuse between sennheiser hdi wireless, audio technica and Bose sound sports wireless.
OK I got them....after 40 hours burn in ... I have to say they sound AMAZING , BUT BUT BUT the highs are really over bright I really don't get that ... some times I have to lower the volume so I can listen to them . Also there are no different types of ear tips ... for 200 euros I was expecting more.... Mids Bass soundstage is by far the Best wireless in ear that I have ever heard That's for sure...
I just purchased them and will be returning, I really wanted to like them but the sound was just not there, bass was good but mids we're very recessed, and the treble sounded wayyy too laid back and tinny. Not bad sounding at all but compared to my OnePlus wireless bullets $69 and my adv sound model 3 $64 There kind of pathetic, I would rate my adv model 3 as the best sounding, then the OnePlus bullets wireless 2nd sounding a bit better than the hd1. I recommend looking else where you can get much better sound for less money.
The bass on my sony xb70bt goes as deep as over the heads so it is possible though...They may not have the vibration senstation but there are models that do
not retractable? and no place to store one. My lgs are magnetic and retractable. I usually have 1 ear in at all times and HATE having the other dangle around like a loose testicle.
How are they compared to the Jaybird X3? I was just going to pick up a pair of X3s but after this video I am a bit stuck. How is the sound compared to the X3s, the comfort and fit and are they usable for running or will they have problems from sweat? I would love to hear from you thank you!
Dude, these sound a lot better than X3s, but unfortunately these are not for sport. The neckband will start moving, not very nice. They also aren't sweatproof, unlike the X3. One thing to consider is that the X3s only charge with a specific small connector that is very easy to loose and hard to replace. Hd1 charges with a regular micro-usb.
I just purchased them, I did a best choice. Sound clearaity is out of this world.. no match. If someone says, bass was okay, I would say he is lying. It gives exception qaulity of sound.
+RC Worldwide not gonna lie, that would be a tough decision right now. For bass I would probably lean towards 4.40bt and for clarity I would go with the HD1
Great timing... I'm debating between sennheiser momentum and shure se215 special edition with the microphone when these ones popped up. What do you suggest
+Bilal Bokhari depends on what you're looking for. I feel the SE215 have more of a flat sound signature where these have more elevated bass and treble. The Sennheisers are more fun to listen to in my opinion
Gamesky, will you recommend this over the Sony MDR XB70BT? I left u another comment in regard the Sony I just got today, keep in mind I own RHA & Button Will I Am these are more audiophile and sound wise are amazing but both luck in bass (too woody-puch-y) no sub round warm bass like the Sony. Now you make me wonder if I should get the Sennheiser In Ear Wireless just because you mention that the sound is amazing (soundstage, separation and you add the bass(???) Is the bass really there? Like the Sony? I watched another review about this Sennheiser HD1 and the app you will use to boost bass isn't take you "there" with the warmth-sub-heavy bass as the Sony. Thanks.
these are not as "warm" sounding as the Sony's but the bass is much tighter and punchier. The mids and highs is what makes these so good. it has a very clean overall sound but with plenty of tight bass
Gamesky, hey I received the Sennheiser HD1 compared to RHA WirelessM750 SHD1 have much more bass and clear mids so win over the RHA. whether compare to the SonyXB70 the SHD1 have way better sound quality clarity and separation, keep in mind the all of those IEBs are in one way or the other tweaked with Eq. Sony xb70 are more fun and "juicy with that sub-bass that send you to heaven and much louder with their 4z to 24hz + 12mm dome but I must emphasise the highs and some genre the mids+highs, rather the SHD1 I must to control the highs and some case mids that tend to fatigue the ears, too brights, and push bass frequency 20h to 60h louder to obtain a nice warm round bass and exceed my expatiation something that with the Button (will i am ones) I am not able to achieve even with all the Eq tweaking ,those sounds great stage/stereo and clarity but the bass is very controlled and hard to tweak to where I want it to...Eq will do but with limitation otherwise I will risk to have that woody almost distorted bass (250h 350h.) So...I will keep the Sennheiser HD1, keep the Sony & the Button return the RHAM750-Wireless. :)
Hey Gamesky, i have skullcandy ink'd wireless earphones, are these better than those? would sennheiser be a good upgrade? I'm looking for a clear sounds like for vocals and ok bass nothing too much
+Skull Candy these are definitely worth the upgrade if you're willing to spend the extra money. They sound great, have a premium build and an amazing hard case.
+chuckolatte my contact at Sennheiser told me they are the same product just named differently in the states. I am not familiar with the sound of the wired in-ear Momentums though
+Leonore Rochlitz not at all, a neckband usually holds the battery and the wireless radio. It's actually comfortable when done right. That is why alot of companies are having issues getting great sound out of the "truly wireless" earbuds like the airpods.
these will if you are jumping up and down but headphones like the Skullcandy Method Wireless have a neckband that is made to fit more snug on your neck and they don't bounce around
Gamesky thnx for the answer. I was waiting for the Razer Hammerhead bt model. But i heard they have a too powerfull bass (hammering the bass, Hammerhead). But now i want to try these Sennheiser tho. But not sure if i am going to like the neckbrace thingy
some companies don't make retractable ones because that is something that usually tears up on the ones that do......but I can definitely understand you liking that feature
Gamesky yeah I feel u but I sell harman/kardon that are retractable an the real problem is the thin cord and speaker problems. The retractable wires and sound are the sellers for those and would love to see it in this $200 pair. Thanks for introducing them to me (had no clue they existed). Keep it up Sky u da man!
What? You mean you never took these out? Well, yeah, are you kidding me? Of course they'll get clogged. Where do you think your earwax is meant to go? Your brain?
i agree that is alot for a pair of in-ear headphones but after comparing them to others in the market that are around that price they are definitely worth it
how can i take a review seriously if it's sponsored by sennheiser? How ridiculous
Jack He reviewed the Sennheiser IE80s and told everyone don’t buy it. I think he is pretty legit

Hey! pls can u help me to choose between this one (sennheiser hd1 momentum in ear wireless) and sony mdr xb 70bt in ear headphones.

Hello there,
First of all the video is so detailed n informative..love that!!
When it comes in music Sennheiser always stands first. But according to my survey when we put volume in high the treble goes very irritating n feels pain as well after continously listening. Can u please suggest me best wireless earphones under $200.I am bit confused between 3 earphones-1)Sennheiser hd1..2)Jaybird x3..3)Bose quite control sports.
Does these earphones compatible with android device?
I am using Samsung Galaxy S8 plus...I want that earphone which are good in bass(heavy punch) nice trebel and hi res sound.
i have not tried the Bose yet, but the Sennheiser has the better sound between them and the Jaybird. If you want a nice punch in bass the Sennheiser definitely do the trick and although I know it is hard to believe......the newest BeatsX is also very good
Thanx for reply
well what is the power backup of this Sennheiser hd 1 earphones.
So... HD1, SoundSport wireless or jaybird's X3?
Have you compared the Sony wi1000x over the neck earbuds and compared to these?

Bass yes its punchy ... but its not going DEEP ,like On or Over ear headphones , and that's been expected .... Great Review
The bass on my sony xb70bt goes as deep as over the heads so it is possible though...They may not have the vibration senstation but there are models that do
its going deep, but is it progressive ?
not retractable? and no place to store one. My lgs are magnetic and retractable. I usually have 1 ear in at all times and HATE having the other dangle around like a loose testicle.
Damn I want these things! Just cant spend 200 when I already have some LGs that actually sound half decent.
hey does it have a button for making google voice commands?

does it have a battery indicator?
How to connect 2 devices at a time?
ARE THE BACKS MAGNETIC
These or jaybird bluebids x3?
The sound is a just amazing on his earphones
dang, now im contemplating on buying these. that bgm is so damn catchy though, r.i.p can't find it anywhere :'))))))
One thing I know you’re ear plugs should be light not built by heavy metal
Amazing review as always!
thanks man, you are throwing me off with the different icon

Gamesky the Bose soundtrue ultras are also on my short list
Hey man.
which one would you choose between this and Bose QC30?
Steven Fernando same here
1more triple driver for the win! 😆
Love these but those wires need to be retractable.I love my lg tones just cos of how easy it is to retract.wires get in the way
i can definitely understand the need for retractable wires.
I just purchased these and regrettably the volume isn’t loud enough. Pretty disappointed!

these are not as "warm" sounding as the Sony's but the bass is much tighter and punchier. The mids and highs is what makes these so good. it has a very clean overall sound but with plenty of tight bass
Thanks. I just ordered from Amazon, will get them tomorrow, test it and all shall see. :)

+Yih Herng Hew in my opinion yes
@@OfficialGamesky would.you still recommend these?? In 2020. I got them in my list on Amazon but not sure to buy.

how do these compare to the in-ear momentum?
+chuckolatte my contact at Sennheiser told me they are the same product just named differently in the states. I am not familiar with the sound of the wired in-ear Momentums though
How about sennheiser cx 7.00bt
Doesn't the neckband defeat the pupose of in-ear headphones? (portability)
+Leonore Rochlitz not at all, a neckband usually holds the battery and the wireless radio. It's actually comfortable when done right. That is why alot of companies are having issues getting great sound out of the "truly wireless" earbuds like the airpods.
Gamesky In the hypothetical situation I would do sports... would it bounce around?
these will if you are jumping up and down but headphones like the Skullcandy Method Wireless have a neckband that is made to fit more snug on your neck and they don't bounce around
Gamesky Thank you, very helpful!
no problem
How are those compared to the Razer Hammerhead bt version?
i haven't tried the Razer Hammerhead BT model but judging by the reviews on Amazon there is no way they will be close in comparison
Gamesky thnx for the answer. I was waiting for the Razer Hammerhead bt model. But i heard they have a too powerfull bass (hammering the bass, Hammerhead). But now i want to try these Sennheiser tho. But not sure if i am going to like the neckbrace thingy
Do you know wich Comply fits theese? T200 or T400?
+Klaus Birkelund Comply Isolation Noise Cancelling Memory Foam Earphone Tips for Sennheiser HD 1 Momentum MIE2, CX 3.00 and 5.00, Premium Replacement Noise Reducing Earbud Tips, Comfortable Secure Fit (Medium, 3 Pair) www.amazon.com/dp/B01JAT1F5K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uUYGAb6KGCT5K
Thanks, but cant really see if that is T200 or T400
How much will they be
they are $199, I just put the link for them in the description
At least tryy and seem a little less biased, but good vid👍
+Luke Ponsioen I understand if you think I'm being biased but I like these alot and tried to portray that in the video. Thanks for checking it out
Does the neckband bounce when you run?
+Danny Aye very little
Thank you.
they don't retract???! guess I'll wait for 2.0
some companies don't make retractable ones because that is something that usually tears up on the ones that do......but I can definitely understand you liking that feature
Gamesky yeah I feel u but I sell harman/kardon that are retractable an the real problem is the thin cord and speaker problems. The retractable wires and sound are the sellers for those and would love to see it in this $200 pair. Thanks for introducing them to me (had no clue they existed). Keep it up Sky u da man!
dont use in ears full time. Mine got clogged after a couple of months.
What? You mean you never took these out?
Well, yeah, are you kidding me? Of course they'll get clogged. Where do you think your earwax is meant to go? Your brain?
Review the new vmoda crossfade wireless 2 Please!
+Jacques Moussafir definitely want to check those out
I'm not a fan of the Momentum in ears so since these "appear" to be based of those I guess I'll pass. But great review anyway!
Why not? Those are what I'm planning to get.
great review but man i would get these but these are 200$ thats A LOTA
i agree that is alot for a pair of in-ear headphones but after comparing them to others in the market that are around that price they are definitely worth it
Early? Also nice review
+iElectroGD yessir and thank you
Are u a bvs fan
I am a huge Batman fan but yes, I am one of the few that actually enjoyed the movie
will you review the new sony mdr xb950n1?
yes, I almost picked them up at Best Buy this past weekend
Gamesky ohh okay.....can't wait for the review
hell yea
as always man, I appreciate you checking out the video
They look great...but 200 buck for a headset, this is not 2005! No way I would pay that price, you are just paying for the name!
I wish you did tell the battery life -_-
