- As casualties mount up on the side of the Republic, General Grievous launches lightning strike campaigns to take heavily contested star systems. On the planet of Balor, Jedi Knight Bo'Lin and his padawan Kirva, are in desperate need of reinforcements, as the droid armies get ever closer, another threat, looms in the shadows of the Darkwood Forest.

That was incredibly done! You made Grievous so terrifying, which Tcw failed to do, and the dialogue was most well-written. It was a pleasure voice acting for this.

It seemed you focused on the tragedy of young jedi rather than showing Grievous but it was quite fresh and that makes this vid more valuable.

Thanks man! I’m really glad you enjoyed it! I didn’t want Grievous to be too present I wanted him to seem more like a specter or monster, and the young jedi will have more of a role later on in a series I’m currently developing
The way he so effortlessly murdered 4 Jedi like that was amazing, and I can definitely see why people want more of Grievous being so badass!

Definitely one of the best stop motions I have seen. I like how you portrayed Grievous as a terrifying character instead of some guy who was defeated by Gungans
Gungans have EMPs tho, which pretty much crippled him. Not to mention they basically jumped him.

This was so much better than the Clone Wars 2003 the animated version about that Grievous killed off of dozens of Jedi Knights

That was great! The animation and the voice acting are really good and the effects and action are amazing! The lighting really stood out, especially in the lightsaber scenes! Also, the dialogue is really well written! Overall, great job on this!

This is how I came across this amazing video: I used to have this general grievous set, then years later I lost all the pieces… but to this day I eventually found them in my lego bins, and I started to piece him together, but I didn’t remember if his legs and body were facing the right way, then I searched up “lego general grievous” in RUclips, then I mistakenly tapped on this video, and it was really worth it :D My luck today! By far one of the best interpretations of General Grievous I've seen. What was the music you used at 7:35 ? I know it from Ultimate General but haven't seen many of the soundtracks being used, which is a bummer since they're amazing

This is so good!! I love everything about it. Making the setting dark was Awesome. It was a great decision because of the savers and blaster shots that light up the whole place. Amazing job

@@FerstelloStudios You can clearly see it and it's awesome. Especially that you made grievous into a horror monster in this movie. That moment where the tension builds and the Vurk Jedi gets beheaded. Great moment! And I think the setting is more in the EU Timeline than the TCW and Canon timeline, because unlike Dave Filoni you don't waste grievous four arms and keep it in secret, unless the Jedi is already dead from a certain point of view. And that is great as hell!!!

Great stopmotion! How did you do the grievous voice?
I use the same audio effects Matt wood uses but having a great voice actor is what really sells the effect

@@SavageJarJar They’re supposed to be different characters! I voiced the Kel Dor Jedi and I named him Thel (after the Arbiter from Halo) and the Coleman Jedi is unnamed but I thought it would be funny to have “Coleman Trebor die again”

@@SavageJarJar It takes place between seasons 3 and 4 of the clone wars. This is one of the first batches of clones to get new phase 2 armor. If you watch the beginning of Shadow Strike Episode 3 (my other series on my channel) one of my characters brings up this battle in a report!

How did you do the Grievous voice?
I use a few plug ins and a program called pro tools to replicate the voice the same way Matt Wood does. My Voice actor also does an indistinguishable grievous impression which also helps a ton
What type of body is on the padwan the one with baris head and brown hair
I believe it is the Luminara body from the Droid turret set that came with Rex and a speeder

Great work, loved the video, but I have one problem with it: it was Mirialan custome that Mirialan jedi masters would train Mirialan padawans and in this video, there is a HUMAN master with a Mirialan padawan, (just to be clear, I'm being overly critical and I love your videos, this one included)
@Donovan I never said miralan masters couldn't train other species, I said it was a custom for miralan padawans to be trained by miralan masters, yes I did over exaggerated, and I could have left out the last part but, without it, it's still correct
