This vid shows the procedure for changing the PIN for your fob but also shows how to put into transport mode. Keep in mind the security aspects of the things I show you in order to keep your pride and joy safe.

Think the siren was fazed out on 2020 models onwards.
Reasons for changing that pin extremely valid, for bike security.
Also handy if as ya say away somewhere, and lose your fob.
One time I was glad had done and was my own fault.
I had fob, as unlocked bike in garage...started bike then like a fool put fob down, on top of tool chest!😮
Luckily for me too, no locking fuel cap at the first pit stop!.
Pin entered, and all good though 🏍

Thank you for the video, I was able to learn things that I needed to know from this. The last 5 of the VIN is no longer how they're sent from the factory! My new 2022 FXLRST came with a factory setting of 11111. Please update your informational video to include this information once you take the time to verify.

Hello Jim, can you clarify what exactly you’re saying I need to change ?? I didn’t mention as far as I can remember what the pin is from factory. Whatever the pin is it should be good practise to change so that it’s harder to steal etc. thanks for watching tho. Ride safe brother.

Wow, I never knew the siren on the alarm was an optional extra. That is not a good thing as what is the point of having an alarm without the siren? There must be very few people who wouldn't want a proper working alarm.
Yeah I agree. It’s not a great move from HD. Whether it’s trying to make more money or some other reason it ain’t great when you’re paying good money for new models.
