(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

And what is now possible with such a technologic level seems to allow almost everything with a métal detector.

Pozdro Lorbas ja mocno się wachałem ale postanowiłem poczekać na pierwsze testy ale jako wielbiciel deusa 1 i tak pewnie prędzej czy później kupię
trochę drogi ale dla fana deusa to nie bariera , pewnie z czasem kupisz...na dniach wpadł nowy filmik o 2 i wygląda to fajnie , robi wrażenie...a dla mnie super że zanurkować mogę , ciekawy jestem tylko czy będzie leżał na dnie ;)

Xp didn’t disappoint with its Deus II (at least not me), and certainly neither did you Gary with your presentation. Before I bought my XP One I watched all your videos about the machine, I just loved it. Looking forward to share the same learning journey with the Deus II with you :)

Being able to nail down one freq and use all the machine power is unreal for cherry picking, also looking forward to the Bone conduction headphones under water. Will be interesting to see all the coils that will be made for this machine.

I agree, Iv had a deus and Could never get on with the tones allways like the at pro / minelab type flutey tones so for me it's deffo a game changer

i hope it will be better.. I'm using 20-yr old Minelab multifrequency Sovereign and it tells when it's bottlecap. I still dig them cos i'm stupid though lol.
Fastest 11 minutes ever. If there are future vids, when is this going to ship? Ordered one early. Hoping to get it before Christmas. Heading to FL and would love to use it on the beach. Nice vid G.. My local SAMS club have Bone Conductive headphones for sale. I tried them. Couldn't believe I had nothing in my ears, it was that clear.
Looks even better then I expected. Love what they did with graphic Eq. Man I sure hope they can make a small 6" coil finally.

As always Gary, impressive! I heard you state that the Bone conductive headphones can be used on dry land. For those of us who are a bit "long in the tooth" do you think they might help with hearing issues, i.e. more clarity of signals? Looking forward to all of the help your will be providing to us, mere mortals of the detecting world.
Hi Chuck, they do work but sound like they have a little more bass.
They are also wired to the RC with a connector.
Time will tell.
I’ve been using Aftershokz bone conduction headphones for a couple of years now. Good for joggers and cyclists as they don’t cover your ears so you can still hear what’s going on around you. The downside is that you can also hear wind noise. They are great for some people with hearing difficulties (like me) as the sound does not need to travel down the ear canal as the vibrations magically turn into sound in your head.
If you have the volume too loud it can tickle your skull a little but I find that wearing ear bud style ear defenders makes the sound from bone conduction headphones much louder so you don’t need to have them turned up as loud. I hope this information helps 👍

That's the primary reason I never owned the Deus....It would't work good for my beach hunting.... But, now the day has come.....I always had a hunch that some day XP would get in the market to compete against other machines for beach use.

Thanks Gary. Have great results with Deus 1......away from massively aluminium contaminated beach. All kinds, foil, slivers, blobs like chunks, cans, ring tabs. I dig it all, easy in sand. Tried many settings. Just too conductive in its many forms. 60's to 85. Figure if I can crack a type of discrimination to separate out aluminum but not other metals I'll make a fortune. Yeah right. Anyway, thanks for the showing.

Hello Gary. In December I bought an Orx, and I have a Deus I remote ordered. I loved how the remotes, the shafts, and the coils are all interchangeable on these two machines. Is the Deus II also interchangeable with the Orx, and Deus I shafts, and coils? Thank you

No the RC works with the WSA II

No everything wireless is dedicated to the D2, apart from the MI-6

Nice taster. The question is does it relegate the Deus 1 to the detector graveyard? I’m not yet convinced. Definitely a more versatile machine (if you want to hunt beaches or underwater). I’ll be very interested to see how it performs in the field against its older brother.
XP Moving even further ahead in the 21st century. Many other manufacturers are still in the 20th century.

Heres a question for you, if and when I get this machine I will be searching my done to death English pasture fields with the aim of picking up targets I may of missed with my ORX. What setting would you recommend for UK pasture? Cheers, Gareth
Early days Gareth, so far I have 3 custom programs in the pipeline.
Factory programs do a good job, we are going to stick with those for a while. General and Park works well for me on pasture.
@@The-skillschool Coin Fast on the ORX was always my go to setting over Coin Deep and its been very fruitful to me over the last 3 years. Looking forward to a new chapter in my metal detecting path..

And looking into either a nox800 or a xp deus2.
I’m leaning towards the xp route however, just concerned about the learning curve
As from what I have read, it’s an extremely complex bit of kit.
But still. Would it be better to run one straight from factory setting and learning that, before even thinking of playing with or upload custom settings.

Looking at coins relics, but looking for depth too.
Only have budget for one detector and want to get what best suits My needs. Nox800 or deus2.

Just ordered a Deus 2 with 9”. Will it fit in the hard case made for Deus 1 ? And what about the wire antenna? Does it come with one ?
Are the WS6 headphones waterproof for the DEUS2 lite?
Was swinging the deus 2 today and had a issue with the pinpoint function, what i would try to pinpoint the target the closer i get to the ground it would go silent, raise it in the air the hight i raise the louder it would get. Go back to ground it would go quiet again, have you experienced this or was it just a anomaly, while in this same spot the mi6 would not turn on. I was in general pro 1 no alterations
Just purchased the WSA 11 XL headphones. I have them paired to my Deus 2 and can hear the remote but not the coil. Must I pair these headphones to the coil? My WS6 headphones work as they should. Thanks
Question : many of us carry an extra coil in our backpack while detecting , so my question is , since the coil in the backpack is as close if not closer to the remote , will the remote know whats on the stem or will this be an issue?
You need to select active coil from settings
