Gary, I’m still waiting for the doctor to release me since my rotator cuff surgery. But I’m chomping at the bit to try your program. I have a field where I got a $5 gold piece but everything is deep. It should be a good test… John
Hello from the USA! Great video, Gary. Tekkna worked for me at an old demolished homesite. I found coins and relics in a sea of house debris. Did Remy have his “Roman cqndle moments” after consuming all the rotted turnips in the last episode? 😎
Your videos are always useful Gary, thank you. One question - I notice you frequency scan but you never seem to ground balance. Is there no longer a need for ground balancing on the Deus 2?
@@The-skillschool I always wondered - when I ground balance here in the South West, the figure usually drops from 87 to 73 - and that's on low mineralisation. Maybe I'm making a mistake, and this is possibly a reason why my depth (until Tekkna) has been lacking.
@@richardtarr2745 Same thing for me.. I asked the question to xp here is their answer.. Do not confuse the mineralization bar and the mineralization index. The mineralization index corresponds to the nature of the soil, so it is a value that tells you the "signature" of the soil. The mineralization bar on its side shows you the strength of this signature: the more it will rise and fill, the more mineralized your soil will be and therefore the more difficult you will find it to detect in depth because it creates a kind of mask that is difficult to cross (some talk about more or less dense fog). Keeping this in mind, you will therefore understand that your soil is a soil whose signature is present (it is not non-mineralized sand) but that its mineralization force is very low! Lucky that you are :) Conclusion: Make your GRAB at each exit as you have usually done visibly and enjoy your floor conducive to detection! It is advisable to stay at the default ground value on soils with little or no mineralized with our single-frequency devices because otherwise, you will generate the inconveniences you have mentioned (disruptions, ground sounds, audible disk shocks etc...). Conversely, on the multi-frequency programs of the Déus Il, the STAB SOL function makes it possible to strongly mitigate these famous disadvantages, so it is advisable to always do a GRAB in order to improve certain internal parameters of the device. Here you are, you know Everything (Désolé pour la traduction approximative 😐)
Hi Gary, very helpful video, are you using the 9" coil? I have a lot of problems identifying targets in iron laden sites with the bigger coils, do you think a smaller coil would make it easier? cheers Ash
Just look at the depth of those targets and in soggy wet ground, some would expect you to use "General" as it has Conductive Soil Subtraction. You've nanaged to create a beast out of the Deus 11 FT program. It's Witch Craft I tell you. 👍
Hi Gary, at the start when you reduced the reactivity to 0 then moved back up to 2.5., could expand on what you were wanting to hear or not hear from the machine as you increased the reactivity please?
Sure, on lower reactivity settings the machine sounded off on every sweep, with long lazy sounds. Raising the reactivity eliminated these false signals.
Hi Gary ive been using this program on the beach where there's lot's of iron and it works extremely well. Lets see what your tweaks are for Tekkan beach😎
@@The-skillschool Hi Gary...the suspense regarding the beach tweaks is killing me LOL...can't wait a few weeks for the videos - is there any chance you can post those simple tweaks??? Please...pretty please....Happy Easter.
Lovely Pasture Treasure hunt. You have such stunning landscapes there in the u.k. Gary. I know this deep signals with TEKKNA and had a lot of this gone signals at my last hunt.
