I totally agree that removing the emissions is way better for the engine and longevity... something that anyone considering doing this to their diesel should keep in mind is what your state laws require.. getting popped by the DOT and failing an inspection in some states warrants an immediate tow/impound and they will only release it after the truck is set back to stock.. def not worth it in that case. Here in MA diesels didnt start getting emission tested until recently, forget the exact year but that leaves a lot of diesel options for people to delete/tune

I had my LBZ totally deleted and EFI live 5 tune. Stock, tow, Power, Street 1 and Street 2. It was an amazing improvement to an already solid motor. The Exhaust was 4" to 5" tip. I loved all the tunes but kept away from the 4 and 5 street tunes due to not adding a lift pump. That became the only negative I experienced...limp mode 3 times in tow tune pulling my 5th wheel on vacation. Once I added the Edge Monitor, it was great....just clear the code and go on. I just purchased a GMC 2015 HD 3500 Dually as I want to move up in 5th wheel capacity and weight. I have a 2016 duramax. Warranty is already over. I’ve been having some problems with def tank and other Emissions now my. Heck engine is on and it’s a sensor in the egr. I’m tied of this amd want to do a full delete and egr block. Was wondering what type of dwlete kit you used and programmer. Also is this something I could do myself?
I recently deleted my LMM. I waited until the warranty was up and did it pretty much at 100K, I wish I hadn't waited so long. Totally wakes up the DMAX, truck runs so much better, better mileage, sounds better. I have yet to put on the EGR blocker, that is definitely next.
I am new to Diesel. I have a 2002 6.0 Chevy GAS with a ProCharger and 650+/-HP, I know LS engines. I got that truck too close to a telephone pole and now have a 2016 LML that needs help. I am having trouble adjusting to the power loss. My new truck is very nice 4X4 CrewCab dually rolling on 35’s. On a good day I get 15 mpg but then regen kicks in and I get 3mpg. Will delete help with power? Not that I can but with a delete must I still use ULS fuel?
Good video. You said you just used the EGR block off plate? Ever had any concern/issues with blowing out the tubing. Read some that say it adds increased pressure in the down tube that can cause failure. Got. 2015 I just picked up and trying to figure out best way to do full delete.
I’ve had problems after deleting my 2013 LML😏😏 I stopped on the side of the road one day to load my tow tune because I was about to tow a trailer and after I was done loading the tune the truck wouldn’t start on me.. Did a lot of troubleshooting with adrenaline truck performance because I got my EFI live from them and it comes out that my ECM went on me😬 At the dealership now getting a new ECM which is $1200 plus labour.. I’m not saying I regret deleting my truck, I honestly love it it’s been great but I am pretty sure that the tuner is what SHOT my ECM...
I just got a WT 2013 LML it’s throwing a code (EGR valve sensor some shit like that) I want to delete JUST the EGR not the other emission shit. Can that be done or if I delete EGR I should delete all emissions crap?
I've had the itch to delete my truck for some time now. Warranty just went up and I feel its doing a regen way more often than it should. I'd like to do a downpipe, exhaust, and a tune. Nothing crazy, just looking for efficiency. I'm torn between 4" and 5", and a muffler. My requirements are no cab drone and good sound. Id also like to tune the ECM and the TCM
Were you able to delete without getting a tune? I notice you have the AFE, Def Delete, and aftermarket pipe. Did it throw any SES or CELs or message on the DIC after you deleted it? I want to do mine too.
Ok I own a 2013 LML. All fluids changed religiously. 100k miles. Was driving down road and it turned off. CP4 blew up sending aluminum shrapnel through the fuel system. Towed to mechanic. Repair est. $10k dollars. Should have gotten the FASS pump and considered the CP3 conversion. My hard lesson learned advice? Fass and CP3 conversion so much cheaper than the repair
I am looking to buy a 2018 silverado 2500 hd I don't know that much about diesel what would be the best set up and healthiest tune/upgrade for the truck
I deleted my '13 Denali at about 70,000 mi and had NOTHING but emissions codes being thrown up to that point. Now none. It's the best thing I could've ever done. It was costing more to get diagnostics from the dealer than deleting egr, def, and buying the programmer. So hell yes, no brainier... Right?!
Does a cold air intake do any good for the truck does it void warranty? My wife is fixing to get 1 hers is a midnight edition I been looking around to see if anyone does it and it won’t void the warranty

I’m getting ready to buy a used LML. What should I be looking at to make sure I’m not buying a turd?
I'm 75 years old and I have 04 gmc duramax hd2500 with 239 576 miles ,runs like new one,I also got a 2018 new silverado hd duramax hd 2500 and 6 months later back to the dealer, it has207,700 miles, and I need to find out what the cost of this to delete it thank you great video
The kits are about 3k now I believe
I could not agree more being one of the first l5p owners i was made aware of the super government motors ecm encryption shortly after purchase and can only hope it will be offered one day but if its not i will probably trade for a 16 for the pure fact of all that epa crap is a motor killer over time i dont want to roll coal i just want to a: modify my truck the way I want to and b: not be restricted by the epa its unamerican
Beautiful truck, looking at getting a '15 that's been deleted . Your video is very informative and answered most of my questions on the subject.
Also appreciate how you actually answered questions guys have about details of your delete, thanks for a very useful video. Subscribed!
Much appreciated
this helps my debate on deleting my 16 chevy dmax 😬
You won't regret it that's fer sure
Hey. I had a 2005 and loved it. I only deleated the Cat. And put a tuner on it. The truck was a monster! I miss it every day. When I buy a truck again it will be a duramax hands down!! Aka maybe just like yours lol
Keeping it clean brother.. Nice.. These things are so expensive I dont understand how some people trash them in 3+ years...
Seriously
Better for the soot to stay in the motor than in the air and in your lungs Eddie!!! You are not too far forward thinking. Smelling it, is not just a bother, unless you think lung cancer and lymphoma are a minor inconvenience.
i have a 2013 GMC 2500HD druramax 6.6 / 6" lift 37" tires , looking for advice on tuner for it , what brand should i get ? i assume delete means remove muffler cat etc ? straight pipe ? what do you suggest for pipe set up ? Thanks for the info.
Flo-Pro 5 inch with a PPEI tuning
I have a 2016 duramax. Warranty is already over. I’ve been having some problems with def tank and other Emissions now my. Heck engine is on and it’s a sensor in the egr. I’m tied of this amd want to do a full delete and egr block. Was wondering what type of dwlete kit you used and programmer. Also is this something I could do myself?
Eddie, how do you pass smog when you delete a truck in CA?
u dont haha
Yeah don't do this in Ca unless you know some one that can pass your vehicle and even that is getting harder to do.
It’s called an illegal smog
Dolphins fan. Subscribed!! lol good video Eddie, keep them coming man!
haha thanks man
I recently deleted my LMM. I waited until the warranty was up and did it pretty much at 100K, I wish I hadn't waited so long. Totally wakes up the DMAX, truck runs so much better, better mileage, sounds better. I have yet to put on the EGR blocker, that is definitely next.
heck ya the LMM is my fav duramax
That's what I own as well. Eddie, I sent you some Questions on IG. I live in Cali & am having issue's with NO COMPANIES willing to ship here???
What tuner/delete did you use
I am new to Diesel. I have a 2002 6.0 Chevy GAS with a ProCharger and 650+/-HP, I know LS engines. I got that truck too close to a telephone pole and now have a 2016 LML that needs help. I am having trouble adjusting to the power loss. My new truck is very nice 4X4 CrewCab dually rolling on 35’s. On a good day I get 15 mpg but then regen kicks in and I get 3mpg.
Will delete help with power?
Not that I can but with a delete must I still use ULS fuel?
Does it void the warrany for the transmission or just the motor?
Good video. You said you just used the EGR block off plate? Ever had any concern/issues with blowing out the tubing. Read some that say it adds increased pressure in the down tube that can cause failure. Got. 2015 I just picked up and trying to figure out best way to do full delete.
no sir never had any issues with it
I’ve had problems after deleting my 2013 LML😏😏
I stopped on the side of the road one day to load my tow tune because I was about to tow a trailer and after I was done loading the tune the truck wouldn’t start on me..
Did a lot of troubleshooting with adrenaline truck performance because I got my EFI live from them and it comes out that my ECM went on me😬
At the dealership now getting a new ECM which is $1200 plus labour..
I’m not saying I regret deleting my truck, I honestly love it it’s been great but I am pretty sure that the tuner is what SHOT my ECM...
ya thats the tune company
You mean it’s because of the efi live?
Or ATP?
EFI live
Did you do a EGR delete? If so, how did you get those 4 bolts out face the firewall?
No I just put a blocking on
Are plates better than a full egr delete?
Thanks Eddie. I subscribed also.
not 1 is better or worse but the plate does do the job it allows the flap to not open and thats what u want it to do is stay shut
Eddie's Life thanks Eddie. Plates will be here Friday.
I just got a WT 2013 LML it’s throwing a code (EGR valve sensor some shit like that) I want to delete JUST the EGR not the other emission shit. Can that be done or if I delete EGR I should delete all emissions crap?
What Muffler would you put on a deleted 3500? Just needs to less for the family. Thanks
I put a jammo muffler
What set up did you use? I have a 2015 3500 Silverado
Thinkin about deleting! Whats your opinion on bio- diesel fuel for 2500 duramax
What kit did you buy
I need that info
Were you able to delete without getting a tune? I notice you have the AFE, Def Delete, and aftermarket pipe. Did it throw any SES or CELs or message on the DIC after you deleted it? I want to do mine too.
What tuner would you recommend? Wanting to delete my LML.
Can you share some links of where you bought your new system?
What about the bi-annual smog checks California puts us through? How do you get around that?
watch the rest of my videos and you will see
What are some of the common problems with the lml? Turbos, fuel system, injectors?
Injectors that y i recommend a fass150 lift pump
Ok I own a 2013 LML. All fluids changed religiously. 100k miles. Was driving down road and it turned off. CP4 blew up sending aluminum shrapnel through the fuel system. Towed to mechanic. Repair est. $10k dollars. Should have gotten the FASS pump and considered the CP3 conversion. My hard lesson learned advice? Fass and CP3 conversion so much cheaper than the repair
So I have a 2015 and warranty is up. Is there a delete kit you can buy. Or what do I need to do to delete it. I want to do that before the lift.
I am looking to buy a 2018 silverado 2500 hd I don't know that much about diesel what would be the best set up and healthiest tune/upgrade for the truck
for the 2018 i would just contact banks for tuning on your L5P
Thank you for the response
If you delete all do you get any service engine light? And is it trouble to pass smog? As you can tell I’m from Cali.
no and yes
Where did you get the delete kit? Thanks
And what kit did u go with?
What are you looking at for cost to do the delete and exhaust?
parts labor about 3k
If i do a delete do i need a tuner if so what kind should I but. I have a 2016 Silverado 3500
I got 2016 GMC 6.6 Denali I want do the delete what I need to do just remove the def system
Hey my name is wesley Anderson I just bought a 2013 25 hundred with the 6.6 duramax what's the best delete kit
PPEI give them a call
Can you tell me what type of exhaust u installed and what you used to a tune? I just bought a stock 2015 gmc Denali 3500HD
Flo-Pro 5 inch with PPEI tuning
What did u put on for rim, tires and off set
on the fence, have a 2011 gmc 3500 and hate the def system.
Right?!
What year is the truck? I have a 2018. Do they have a kit for them?
What would be the best tuner for a 19 duramax???
I'm looking into getting a gmc like yours for towing have you tried getting a catch can for the oil
no sir
Does a cold air intake do any good for the truck does it void warranty? My wife is fixing to get 1 hers is a midnight edition I been looking around to see if anyone does it and it won’t void the warranty
I also live in Washington, where did you get the work done and about how much does it cost to do it? If you did the work yourself how hard was it?
i did everything my self and i did this almost 3 years ago i honestly dont remember what i paid because i ordered a bunch of stuff with it but its very easy to install took me about and hour to do
Just came upon this video. I have a 2008, with the Duramax. Do you have any video on the "how to" on deleting the EGR? I used to have a 98, and I remember when I did that my mileage went up significantly.
What exhaust is this? Also where did you order parts
Dm me for info
What about when you trade it in, I've heard the dealership will give alot less at trade in?
not sure
Hey Eddie, what is the length of the tip you have on your truck? In the process of getting my DMAX deleted. Thanks!
8inch
Hey what size tires and rims are on the truck
Get that PPE oil pan if you want your oil clean. Simple install.
Thanks man im gonna look into that now
What reverse lights do you have below your bumper? Looking to add something like those to help when backing up at night. Great video man!
The rigid SRQ lights
