Rosina has the exact same problem as Delia: She lived pretty much her entire life under a single blue robe and never saw anything else, so she assumed that life in her lady's chambers is how everywhere in the world is. Thankfully Rosina's lady, Sister Christine, is a far better person than the high priest and his ilk, but even so, she's far from the norm of the temple. Unlike most other blue robes, Christine was sent to the temple, not because of being unwanted, but for her protection. As the child of a concubine, her father feared she might be harmed by one of his wives, so he had her raised in the temple, always intending to get her back into the family, when she turned 10, so she could be sent to the Royal Academy. As such, Christine saw the temple as a kind of long-term vacation, where - lessons with her private tutors aside - she could just enjoy a carefree life, before eventually having to return to the harsh, real life, which resulted in a rather whimsical lifestyle for her female attendants, who performed art with her, while her male attendants had to do the physical labour.
07:04 Pretty good analogy, but at the same time it can be an opportunity if you play your cards well. It depends on your resolve and ambitions. For someone like me who tends to lack ambition, this would also be a bad occurrence. 09:55 "What is this?" As we learn a minute later, this is basically entitlement. She had privileges before, and she expects them to persist now. So she was not simply elated at the idea of playing music again, but she also thought that her previous status was recovered. 11:50 Delia: "How am I supposed to work with someone like her?" Pot, meet kettle. Delia did improve. Now she needs to give someone else the opportunity to do the same. 14:50 This kind of subject has been suggested by two other characters before, but it's the first time that force was mentioned.
In general what happens offscreen is much ruffere than what happens on screen in this show. Sometimes people can be missing without much info and it turns out they've been killed As we were told earlier, noble society is scary
The author made the "harspiel" look similar to the real instrument "bandura" because she liked the artist Nataliya Gudziy. That artist would later do some of the music for the anime. She did a video in a Myne cosplay playing music.
To help clarify. Christine is a former Blue robed priestess who had a love for the arts, because of this she favored attendance that had artistic talents (Like music, painting and dancing). After the civil war she was allowed to re enter noble society and left the temple. Rosita is use to being an “Special case” because of Christine, but Welma is older so she has more general experience as a servant.
Christine was always meant to return to her family before turning 10 and was raised accordingly. She, unlike most other blue robes, was sent to the temple to keep her safe from jealous wives, who might bring harm to the child their husband had with a concubine.
@Rangar1997 the difference is for Fran Myne is the only blue robes shrine maiden in the temple, and any new ones in the future are likely to be as young as her or younger, and female nobles never Vista the temple, Fran only hast deal with the past and is unlikely to ever happen again to him. For Wilma, she has a very real chance of being repeated and until Myne claimed her no chance of being rescued again as there are still a number of blue robes priests and male nobles do Vista looking for flower offerings.
Note Rosina hair is down, she's not an adult, she literally a teenage Girl. She happened to nearly the same age as her master Lady Christine who value her skill for arts so greatly favored her. Wilma wear her hair up so is and adult has a more realist understanding of how the temple works she understand Lady Christine favoring her Art skill wasn't normal. Please note the grey shrine madien that Myne meet at her baptism going into the book room is Jenny is also a former retainer of Lady Christine who caught Evil Santa's eye and now works for him, and is the one that been in charge of training Delia.

Christine had Rosina raised nearly as a sibling. The education she received is better than about half the Nobles in this country get. Her entire moral compass came from an archnoble. Unless their title is "giebe" (land owner) archnobles are incredibly out of touch with reality and morality. They don't even interact with the servants in their houses. They hire poorer Nobles to work for them so they don't have to see poors. Empathy is actively beaten out of them. Amongst knights there's a general "protect those weaker than yourself" attitude taught in class but commoners aren't human to them. They are beings that exist to take orders from their betters. That's who Rosina was raised by. It takes time to undo that kind of indoctrination.
@alsinakiria giebe is a position, not title, an archnoble giebe would have the title of "count". (Vicount are medinoble giebe and baron is laynoble giebe)
« if you were writing love songs, many ladies would fall for you »… oh boy, I can’t wait for part 3. And so, Myne learned a lot from last episode. Now she knows that there is not a single truth and that she needs to hear the point of view of all the parties.
@@Rangar1997 The first seasons were fine. If they add a bit more qualitiy to animation and don't mess up the story from LN to Anime, there is a good chance for it to continue. The LN is rather popular and got even more attention through the anime so far, so the advertisement is obviously working here. Given that they take their time for the new season, I have hopes.
Well, any closed institution sooner or later starts to be filled with such cases that become practices, if it lasts long enough, that's how people work
The "Harspiel" is actually a real instrument called a bandura. It's a Ukrainian instrument similar to a lute or zither. As for why music is important, may I please refer you to season 3 of the anime and part 4 of the LNs.
Also the author made it like the bandura because she liked the artist Nataliya Gudziy. That artist would later do some of the music for the anime. She did a video in a Myne cosplay playing music.

Wilma's is also a sad story
@Rangar1997 it is but Wilma was rescued before anything happened. Fran wasn't nearly so fortunate
