When we have to communicate changes, mistakes, modifications and such on a construction on the fly we use it to see the piece on the spot while sketching in 3D what needs to be done directly from our office. It's a huge time saver and makes explaining complex details among different staff members really easy. I doubt we will see AR tech for gaming though, at least not in the near future. I think MS realised it from the get go and wanted to avoid yet another Kinect situation - great 3D scanner for the time, horrible device for gaming!

You realize that PlayStation 3 didn't even exist when Microsoft released the Xbox 360, right? As far as they were aware, they were competing against the PS2, which operated on DVDs. Third Party developers, of which there were MANY back in those days, all created their games based on the specifications of a DVD. No one expected such a huge jump in size until a couple of years after the PS3 was released because devs were still trying to figure out how to utilize the Cell architecture.

Tom K but the 360 had one year of sales before the PS3 even released… However, the PS3 sold more units BECAUSE of the intentional delay and change to Blu-Ray back in February 2006. That’s why the PS3 ended up in more homes.

You know the funny thing about HoloLens? It does sell and it is used fairly often, except it's not a gaming device! Let me explain, I work as a designer and architect.

The worst thing about the whole "Entertainment System" thing is, that they screwed it up. I don't understand why people bring up sales, they don't really prove anything besides more people prefer it, that's the only point you're proving. It doesn't make the gameplay better or anything of the kind.
" if you dont have internet, just buy xbox 360" 🥴🥴🥴🥴
They might as well have said "if you don't have internet buy a PS4".

Why did you delete the video called
“10 gaming things died in 2019”
That sounded interesting 😭😭
DRM was the reason I didn’t buy the Xbox One lol.
nice upload ;) i was recommended this video by RUclips
The ps3 did out sell the 360 but only after the current gen came out
As a Microsoft consumer Xbox one has been a flop
Trevor Huntoon I agree 2/3 console generations of messing up
Walter Spencer I hope they get their shut together genuinely because I want to support an American company but I can’t support consumer attacking practices lol
This was a perfect video. Literally perfect. As an 11-year Xbox LIVE Gold member I agree with every single point made. Excellent video.
5:25 ohh that’s how my need for speed most wanted copy stopped working
It's less likely to scratch discs if you lay the console flat. Its the way the discs lay in the drive
Gta 5, fifa, minecraft, far cry 3 and mk, this was in the slim version, this console was my childhood, but destroyed my games, and that the reason i love digital games
I remember my fifa 13 getting scratched making me lose the career i had been playing for like 6 seasons
@@newphilmz3605 it was flat lol i noticed just like a year ago that there are rubbers for putting it vertically
Incorrect informational comparison. Basic dvds hold 4.7GB but Blu-ray’s start at 25GB not 50 and most were 25 in the beginning but yes 1/5 the amount is utter garbage and the decision to not use DLDS 17GB DVD’s was a mistake big time.
He literally showed that statistic... 25gb but 50 for dual layer
This makes me want to turn my 360 back on...
And was I one of the few people that really wanted the kinect on the one to succeed? I loved it.
Lool, unfortunately you have bad taste.
xbox went HDDVD because Sony owns the patent on Blu-ray and microsoft didnt want to pay for it or couldnt license it, poor choice, but they didnt have a lot of good options lol
Exactly, this wasn't really a mistake because it was like an option that was off the table, and ultimately didn't matter. Most people I know of still got DVDs, and most people I know of never wanted a Blu Ray player. Hell, the cheaper price of the Xbox was likely in part due to the fact that it didn't have a Blu Ray player, which would have been way more expensive. What made me and most of the people I know buy the 360 over the PS3 was the price.
Sony isn't even the biggest patent holder, let alone the only one
@@SavageSenzu Hindsight 20/20 makes everyone (feel) so smart.

The scratching disc happened to me and I immediately returned my 360 and got a ps3 instead
I wanted the kinect cause it made it easier to stream just like the ps4 camera
The Xbox controller is excellent wish I could use it for my Ps5 when I get it
Just get the new Xbox. It will shit on PS5 in EVERY way..

My pet hate is having to download and install games EVEN IF YOU OWN THE DISC! Onto a harddrive that bearly fits 4 games on and takes sometimes hours to do!
Why didn't this one make the list? It is the biggest problem I have. I had to get a 256gb flash drive and use it as a external drive for the xbox one and now even that one is full too. The xbox hard drive should have came more than twice the size, especially for $500. Also, what is up with the blue ray controls? The fast forward and rewind is on the triggers which stick out very far and get pushed by accident just setting the controller down. and the lagggg on those controls is so bad. And there is no volume control which would help considering that samsung tvs don't have volume control for headphones. So if I want to use headphones on xbox one blue ray, it has to be uncomfortably loud.
they didnt replace shit, they fixed the one you sent in and sent it back for it to break again
They didn’t really fix anything. I bought one off my brother and ended up getting RRoD. Sent it in, got another unit (which they re-serialized as being mine) only for it to die a week before my extended warranty on my returned unit expired. I’ve owned 4 of the original 360’s and all of them Ringed. Bought an S and it hadn’t ever let me down in the years since buying it, further proving that the original 360 was a flawed design.
Also, when I mean “re-serialized”, they just put a sticker with your serial number on the refurbished unit. Ever wondered how the turnaround time was less than a week?
HD DVD used Microsoft's patented software for its interactivity menus.
Blu-Ray was developed by Sony along with Philips.
At the time, the two formats were at war and no one knew which would win the market yet.
Cool story with poor spelling bro.
At the moment Sony announced PS3 will have Blu-ray, it was game over for HD DVD. 15 month after PS3 release HD DVD officially died.
@@7531monkey Correct, thanks, I guess.
@@bLd321 I thought about buying one just for the player bc it was a good price and maybe the best Blu-Ray player on the market. It was like buy a Blu-Ray player and get a free game console, at the time.
I do some video editing, how in the hell do they do the effect at 9:36 where they put John Travolta from Pulp Fiction into a GameStop? Do they trace him somehow and only capture that footage?
They use a green screan
This channel recycles tf out of these videos. I think this is the 5th time I seen a xbox version.
"Xbox series x will be competing with Amazon and Google next generation not Sony" - Phil Spencer. Oh God! That statement gives me xbox one DRM, kinnekt, always online, multimedia platform chills all over again. I just want to play some new badass looking games, made with love that have story and substance but Microsoft seems to be investing in everything but that. I have owned every xbox and ps console from day one but this may be the first time I skip xbox. The last one was a sheer waste of cash and I have saw zero reason to buy the next one. I keep hoping that they will just focus on making great games but I don't know. It seems like they are chasing market trends now than actually just investing in what made xbox a hit to start with. Yeah game pass is OK but most of the games are really old and I have played most of them already or are not interested in the rest and the new exclusive ones are so dissapointingly bad that even as game pass game they where not worth wasting time on. I can see game pass eventually just become another lackluster andriod store where the games are crap but contain so much microtransactions they still make a shit load of cash with practically no love or effort being put into the games. I would rather stop gaming than feed into that kind of predatory system.
urbanshadow777 he was talking about the future of cloud gaming because google and amazon are investing a lot in that
You are wrong on every level. They have invested more on nxt gen than Sony. New studios new ips 8 1st party titles named already for this year alone its good to keep informed.
When I went to get my X1, the very first thing I asked for was one without a Kinect. Don't regret that decision in the least.

Well, first of all Microsoft took away the Indie Games section of their store which stinks I miss total miner fordge and castleminer Z
Xbox still have indies games they are in the creator collection section
I read Castleminer Z and then immediately had a Vietnam flashback
