Good job olly
Wiring part seems difficult to me, I’m a little confused
Good little guide cheers guys. Looking to fit one myself but I have an electronic boost controller to go in so hopefully not too different. Ta 👍🏽
Impressed to see it boosting to 13psi. Honestly thought it'd be lower.
Anthony R boost to 17 sometimes in 3rd and 4th I’m guessing that’s bad ???
Modified Weekly 17 is quite high but in 3rd and up you won't be limited. 1st should max at 8psi and I was under the impression that 10-11 would be right for 3rd+ but hey, no concerns 👍
Anthony R hmm I’ll keep an eye on it then but solid 13-14 most off the time so I guess that’s good👌🏻
Modified Weekly - do some reading on what the PPP package gives you. The max boost pressure should be 18psi for a WRX with the PPP (which is what you've got) stick with mechanical boost gauges rather than electronic 👌
civicvtec92 boost to 17-18 in 3rd and 4th so and I’ve always been told electronic gives a better reading ??
Modified Weekly cheap boost gauge that’s why it’s showing more than it should. Get some middle of the road gauges like prosport or depo when you get your 3 boost gauges 🤣 . Also when you start it up... that is called vacuum 👍🏻🙄.
It's a Stu hmm gauge was 40 quid is that considered cheap? And didn’t mean 3 boost gauges 😂 obviously
Modified Weekly depends what your after it for. If it’s just for looks the gauge is fine, if your after exact boost pressure then a calibrated one is the way. Budget calibrated ones start at around £60👌🏻 or go mechanical, but yours will be fine for what you need it for

It's a Stu I just thought as it electronic it be more accurate than one that just runs of vacuum , I knew there would be some miss reading but not that much I’ll be looking to upgrade when I get the Center 3 gauges as they come as a kit but this will do for now I just wanted to see what it was boosting to
Great video
Good job Lads
What’s the song
Isnt this a manual boost gauge?
Manual boost gauge would be completey independently working off the vacume and boost of the system
Your first problem is I can barely understand you. The second is any vacuum to turbo will do that's how you confuse the humans
That’s rude. They are speaking clear as day
Got lost at the wiring
Something that so dumb that all you guys do that make me go insane is cutting the oem line, like wtf. You could just be wise and remove the line from the bpv and then cut a part of tubing from the hose provided in kit to link it to the T and the bpv
this isn't an electronic boost gauge. don't listen to these fools.
Get one of these - look far more stock and ALOT nicer scoobyworld.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1205
You shouldn't T off at your bov..
Where should I T off then
@@rebz8942 Your intake manifold man. True reading and your BOV reading will be delayed
Got a Imgur link go something so I can see exactly what line to tap in don't want to take into 5 lines before I get it right😂
@@rebz8942 haha no worries. You should have this or some other vacuum line coming off the manifolfd, best place to T off for accurate boost imgur.com/a/JaQXti0
Ahhhh I have the plastic one no ports😣 guess I have to take off the bov unless there's another way?
The first problem is the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car
the biggest car production country in the world drives on the right side so whos wrong lol
Jdm as fuk
