      @@toivomk Mad respect man! Love to see it when people take care of these old cars even when it's on a tight budget. Doesn't matter how much you spend on it, as long as you take care of them :)

    This is a great how to! I bought that same boost controller and didn't have a clue?? Now that I know I am going to install it. I'm sure it's leagal in Canada. If it isn't leagal that's even better lol Ok here's the funny thing is that I am installing it on my PT Cruiser GT 2.4L that Has a bigger turbo that I installed along with a Mopar Stage 1 ECM My turbo can put out 300 whp at around 30 psi. But I know my engine can take 30psi I am getting a whopping 13psi out of it right now but if I can add 2-3 more Psi=17psi-18psi I should be fine..
    Well of to the illegal races next weekend so I'll get this set-up and let you know.

    My MBC doesn't have a guide on where should I plug it. Does the vacuum line suck or blow?

    • @moritzherr
      @moritzherr  5 месяцев назад

      @@marvingaviola2216 It does both. The vacuum line runs from the Upper Intake Manifold down to the Wastegate diaphragm. If you're just coasting, you're engine pulls a vacuum, but if you hit boost it pressurizes everything.

    What if you have a boost cut ?

    • @moritzherr
      @moritzherr  6 месяцев назад

      @@iANTVpublicbrothers You probably mean Fuel cut. It‘s a preventative measure of the ECU to save your engine in case boost levels get to high.
      In this case you will need a FCD (Fuel cut defencer) that will fool the ECU into thinking you‘re running less boost than you actually are.
      Only do this if you know what you‘re doing!! And at the very least get a wideband O2 sensor to make sure you don‘t lean out and blow your engine!
