When I first started making You Tube videos we were in the process of fixing a lot of drip leaks on a property, and I mean A LOT of drip leaks. And I thought it would be good to share a tip that if you cut out an emitter to do the repair you need to put an emitter back in other wise there will be a dry spot there and the plant material may die. Here is part of that video. You can tell I was new at shooting videos and talking into the camera, but I was not new at irrigation and repairing drip. At this time I didn't even know you were supposed to shoot in landscape mode.lol. But the video does share a good tip when fixing leaks in you drip irrigation. So I thought I would finally share it with you so that maybe it will help you make better drip repairs.

Good advice. I always cut between drips and replace with an identical piece. That way it’s putting out the same amount of water at the same intervals. Also looks more professional. You can tell the vid was from your early days….you’ve come along way in presenting.

Yes, this is something most guys do not pay attention to. Paying attention to the putting the identical piece back in, like you do, making sure it waters the same is the best way to do it. Good job. Thanks for the comment. Its good to hear that I have made some progress. Always trying to get better. Thank you.
