I don't 'write' the reviews, all my audio is recorded on the spot. Really the only videos I script are the parodies. I don't know if I have any favorite coaster reviews...I make them, post them, then never watch them ever again, so I don't even remember most of what I've said in them!

      1. Congrats! Your hard work has paid off, also I wanted to tell you the physics in a simple way (I’m a nerd). What RMC did is reduce the friction as much as possible. They did this with a smaller train, since it’s a single rail, and as not as much actually touching the train as other coasters. This reduces the rate at which the coaster slows down, and keeps it hauling more. I have never rode it myself, hope to ride railblazer in my near future, but this is what happens based off of a lot of videos I’ve seen. Hope this helps :)

I will never forget my first ride on Wonder Woman. This is a coaster I underestimated going into... I expected it to be a fun, small scale RMC that would enjoyable but not necessarily super aggressive. I was all relaxed on the lift hill, taking in the stunning quarry wall and park surroundings. Then out of nowhere... that first drop... back row... first time... the only other element that has left me that appalled is X2’s first drop... APPALLED that I was experiencing such a sensation and that it’s even possible. Easily the loudest I’ve ever screamed on a coaster.... “yanked” is absolutely the best word to describe it, and it truly has to be experienced to be believed!

The reason the pacing can be so fast and all the elements so tight is the train design with the single rail. Not only is it single file, but you're also sitting down lower. This makes your center gravity closer to and more centered over the track overall, which means your body, and the train, experiences less forces and strain, relatively speaking, to a more traditional design.
Because of that they can make everything more compact without putting unnecessary wear and tear on the ride itself, and without going overboard on the forces riders experience.

I’ve ridden 6 RMC’s, and this is the only one to have genuine good positive force intensity. When you leave the off axis hill and twist up into the S bend, its some pretty positives. I marathoned this thing one morning with around 8 rides before even I couldn’t handle it any more and had to go get some less intense airtime on Iron Rattler. This thing is a powerhouse. One of my favorite coasters.

I rode it three times... all in the first week it was open... after the third, I just couldn't get used to it. aggressive is DEFINITELY the word or term I'd use to describe it... it's very fast, very "whipy" and that drop literally steals your breath. i enjoyed it... but I don't think I'd ever do it again. that's also evident in the line (cue) as it routinely gets shorter and shorter.

  • @FlybyStardancer

I rode Railblazer last year, and intense is a good word! I wear glasses to see and normally have zero problems with them on coasters, but they made me store them for this one. And it was definitely needed! Also the sheer power of the ride gave me a headache for a couple minutes. I rode it twice, but those rides were spaced out. I didn’t have a problem with the shoulder restraints, but my shoulders are narrow to begin with.

Good review Taylor. Amusing that I don't suffer hard financial troubles from the COVID-19 pandemic, my brother and I may launch a Texas coaster tour in 2021. I don't want to go further in depth as it is too personal. Texas has been on my radar for 3 years and do want to launch The Lone Star State Coaster Tour. Wonder Woman is definitely a bucket list coaster. When you posted your review of Iron Rattler in 2017 that is when you allowed Fiesta Texas to grab my attention. I had other parks in mind to visit KI and CP. This in turn allowed the trip to be put on the back burner. It is in the blueprint stage, that and I am brainstorming a California trip in 2022 and a possible Northeast tour in 2023 (mainly to revisit Great Adventure; Last visit was in 2014 and we could do much as the park was packed to the gills for Fright Nights). As soon and the pandemic subsides and I am back at work, that is when I'll be working on going. Anyway. Stay safe Taylor and I hope all is well.

Every time I've been to Fiesta Texas, Wonder Woman and Batman the Ride have both been on maintenance for half of the day. Wonder Woman's a great ride, but I wish Fiesta Texas didn't have to get the Raptor clone. The clone is so compact in a pretty nice area of where the ride is. I loved RailBlazer, I was only able to ride it 6 times since I wanted to ride all the other coasters and the park was closing at 6 that day, but I guess it’s a blessing and a curse cause restraints were only beginning to hurt, but that thing is wild, here’s me just imagining one being at lagoon, that would be pretty dank, but long story short RailBlazer is the best ride at CF Great America, but just BARELY beating Gold Striker

Jersey Devil will be taller and longer, not a copy of the current two. It will be interesting to see what if anything RMC changes in regards to layout etc.
Thanks for the review. Here's hoping Cedar Point (home park) gets a Raptor soon, or better yet a Trex 😜😉

The future of six flags are single rail coasters. They are cheap and are fun intense coasters. So these seem like they will probably pop up in a lot of six flags park.

Great review as always. Love this coaster and the park. I prefer this park to my home park Six Flags over Texas. Super intense and it does hurt your shoulders after just a few rides. Planning on going to ride Jersey Devil next year in the summer. Can't Wait!

I fully agree, except, i didn't enjoy it. I rode this 3 times a few days ago, and gosh, I was shocked after the first round... and dizzy af! It's just too aggressive. it's very smooth, but it's extremely rough in its own way. It manhandles you thru the track, and I could guarantee that it injures some people during its life, that's just how unforgiving it is. Superman, which is right next to it, is 10x more enjoyable.

My theory for why it runs so fast is because of a very low center of gravity relative to the track. I believe this means that when the trai twists or turns, less torque is applied on the track, reducing the vibration and friction, speeding it up.

I would actually call six flags Great America the prototype testing ground They got the first B&M coaster. One of the original wing coasters. One of the original B&M hypers and the first one in the six flags chain. The first S&S air launch in the US in years. And finally the very first B&M inverted coaster.

For big budget rides I'd agree, Great America has a good number of firsts. Especially when looking at B&M specifically.

When the T-rex model comes out maybe there will be more parks with 2 RMC's. Right now they only offer similar reworks of old rides or new ones in the same style. Any park with multiple rollercoasters just isn't on the market for a compact low capacity ride.

I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this ride I ridden it 3 months ago and I was like this is easily one of the most intense coaster I ever ridden. A lot of people say it’s 90 mph but idk. I still don’t think this ride is better then iron rattler but it easily makes a top 20

Maybe the intensity will keep the line down. I can't see how this at a busy park and flashpass in full force wouldn't take forever to get through the line. For some reason I feel loke SFOT will get one of these next if they ever get Aquaman open, which I am worried about its line also.
