same! when I went on Poltergeist, I felt like throwing up all throughout the process, but when I went on the actual ride, it was INSANELY FUN!

The goliath was the first rollercoaster I had ever been on and it was awesome!!! I went on every other coaster in the park that day!!!

My first ever rollercoaster. The g-force on this thing was intense at the start but the rest was epic
The way you worded this makes it seem like a lot of g-force is a bad thing. It is not that intense compared to other rides.
HopelessSoap GD 4.6 is a decent bit. Older B&M’s have a good amount of force to them that feels just right to me.
Shock Wave at SFOT on the other hand, that we gotta prepare for lol.

Fun fact: this coaster survived Hurricane Katrina. This was Batman: The Ride at Six Flags New Orleans before the hurricane killed the park, and since Batman: The Ride was one of the only rides considered salvageable, they packed it up and took it to Fiesta Texas.
Sort of fun fact: This is Goliath's 3rd location. The first was at Thrill Valley in Japan as Gambit, and then it survived Hurricane Katrina at Six Flags New Orleans as Batman the Ride. They salvaged what was still operable and moved Batman the Ride to Six Flags Fiesta Texas as Goliath.
This was originally the Batman. It was located at the six flags in New Orleans. After Katrina, they managed to save it and brought it to San Antonio and renamed it Goliath.
In six flags over texas there is one just liked this. It’s called Batman there.
You feel like you are legitimately flying. I love the overhead shoulders rest coasters. Secure, and fun.

Weekdays are great days to go to most amusement parks as long as it's not a major holiday like ID4.
Fun fact: this was at the former Six Flags New Orleans in Louisiana, but relocated to Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2008, due to its minimal damage after Hurricane Katrina, therefore, being able to still operate nowadays

I've been on this ride at least 100 times, and I can say that's by far my SECOND favorite in the park. Superman being my first.

i actually really like the iron rattler, though i'm more a fan of the inversions. iron rattler is mos def a very close third, if not tied for second on occasion.

I think it was just open for certain people ... Normally it's 30x more crowded especially now when it's summer ! Also most people had school and work that day !

I've seen POVs of Batman: The Ride and none of the other clones are as smooth as this one. This one provides almost no headbanging whatsoever.
I've been on this ride and it gives a lot of whiplash. After I went on it my neck as well as six other people had whiplash. But it's still pretty fun...

It is super intense isn't it. I love these models, we have one up here in Missouri and it is SOOOO fun! Going around the turns and through the corkscrews you pull so many g's and you get whipped around a lot. I swear the Batman clone is probably the greatest coaster model ever. It was so popular it was cloned all over America.
Yeah it was very popular because of its intense layout :) The elements are very tight and very quick, which makes sense from its compact layout, but you can't help but love these old school B&M coasters :) You really can't them at many other parks now
I recommend going on poltergeist at six flags fiesta Texas.The ride shoots you off and it's really fun!

This was my first real coaster. All the others I've been on were kid coasters with no loops.
I did this one today :) it was scary but soooo much fun!
Apples to oranges. This has inversions and loops, Goliath has speed and G forces.
I remember when my dad wanted to go on there, I was scared to death... but he made me get on and I liked it so I said “HIT IT AGAIN”. It’s a very good and fun ride

When on hanging rollercoasters I never fell any forces expect the wind on my face. I've gotten used to them. I'm also starting to not fell the drops on rollercoasters like Goliath in Magic Mountain.
I have not been on this roller coaster before but once I go to Texas this and Superman Krypton Coaster the coasters I am so doing

Did you know, Goliath was originally batman the ride at the defunct six flags New Orleans, after hurricane Katrina, batman and a few other rides were relocated to other six flags parks, batman the rides elevated supports kept the tracks out of the water and was moved to six flags fiesta texas where it was re themed, repainted, and was renamed Goliath, so if you go to six flags fiesta texas and you see this ride, that was a formal attraction of six flags new orleans
I got at this one when I was 9 years old!! Almost 10 so I'm sure this is not scary, well I love it

One time at Fiesta TX me and my older sister went on the Goliath at night before we left fright fest the thing that holds u down didn't go down all the way and the guy told us it was ok I mean the ride was fun and she is ok but the people need to help us

It is the same style of coaster, but it isn't a clone of silver bullet.

We talked with SFFT management while recording this, they said they had to replace all the ride control systems and electronics.
The Goliath at Magic Mountain is still the best one yet.im comparing all the Goliath's at all Six Flags...so far Valencia is winning
