- Here's our POV of Iron Rattler that shows just how smooth, fast and fun this RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) steel hybrid coaster really is. Our favorite parts of the ride are the way the train comes to a stop at the top of the lift hill, the twist to the left as the train drops down that 81 degree drop, the huge pop of ejector airtime at the top of the rock quarry, the feeling of weightlessness through the Zero-G Roll and the plunge back off the rock quarry into the tunnel.

This ride is nothing like the video. It was 10000% times better on real life. Ive been on it over 20 times and each time is such a thrill. BEST RIDE EVER. Cant wait for batman in summer though!

I rode this on the forth and it was sprinkling while i rode it, man that tiny bit of rain felt like getting rocks thrown at your face.

Okay like no joke I was off of my seat the whole time. I was holding on for dear life cause of how steep the drop is. I had a mini panic attack. After the drop was over I was okay. Praise Jesus for those seat belts and that lap bar. Best ride ever.

Your supposed to come out of your seat its called air time but the lap bar makes impossible to actually get launched out of the ride I don't think that ever happened in the history of rollercoasters except maybe in the 1930's or something.

I've been on this over 200 times and never gets old. The best coaster I've ever been on . smooth ,fast ,great air time , and comfortable restraints . That hurts the experience of some great coasters.
For the people that are scared to ride this, the worst/scariest part is having to get off. The ride is very fun.

Julie Williams It wasn't scary at all! I thought it would be, though. It ended up being such a fun coaster. It is definitely the best roller coaster in the whole park! I love it so much. The feeling you get is comparable to the Superman ride. Don't be scared!! You should definitely ride it; you won't regret it!

I am a 12year old and I got on that ride with my aunt at first it was okay as you could tell but the first drop. I was so scared
I was super scared of all of the turns and drops
But it was worth it. It was an awesome experience to have with my aunt and it was fun

Coasters are safer than cars, trains, planes, and all other forms of transportation. There is even a higher chance of being killed by lightning strike than being injured on a coaster.
Rode this yesterday. I love roller coasters and get a season pass to fiesta tx almost every year. This is by far the scariest ride I have ever ridden. I will definitely be riding again this summer.
I went today, but there was NO LIGHTS in the tunnel!!
I have rode it many times. I have only seen the lights on once. I think it's better with them off myself.

Honestly this video. don't Speak for itself the best way to experience it is by actually getting on it. based on my experience and it was the bomb the scariest part is that first drop in the beginning other than that it's a piece of cake.
I remember my 6th grade year when my best friend went on that ride. It was so fun. It brought back a lot of good memories. This was like 3 years ago.

Best Coaster I’ve been on ever. I don’t like steep lift hills, this one doesn’t have one. The drop is so fun, I love the speed and all the turns and ups and downs. I also love how simple yet super fun inversion is made- just a creative barrel roll. 10/10. I highly recommend to anybody who can take it on. Even if you think you can’t, trust me. You’ll frickin’ love it.

Just rode it this week - favorite ride at the park. Shorter than Superman, but the drops are great and it's just fun as heck. This video makes it look slow, but that's not how it feels at all.
That's how it is with all coasters. However the Iron Rattler does waste a lot of its energy at a slower point.
This is the best wooden roller coaster and its noteven close. Probably the only truly smooth wood coaster I've been on

I watched videos on the coaster so many times the year it opened and said "I'm gonna get on it". Was super scared but after that first ride, became my favorite ride. Now every year we go I try to get on it at least 3 times each day we are there

+Mrs JC You have like this saddle knot in the thigh brace, and it really isn't much. It adds to the experience and that first ride, but it is REAAALLY disconcerting that first go.
+TheVeR01 ya I did see that but like you said not very much. Especially for someone like me, i will go on any roller coaster that have the shoulder straps, only! Lol, I've tried roller coasters with the bar over my lap but I hate the feeling of my entire body wanting to fly out the seat!😂The funny thing is before they change it to the iron rattler I got on the wooden rattler like 6x in a row, after every time I said omg no more but did it again anyway lol

I rode this today for the first time (2nd row) and i must say, this might be one of the funnest coasters ive ever ridden in my life. Right under SKC in my opinion.

I consider myself someone whom has ridden a large amount of roller coasters, and this one, I have to say, IS THE BEST ONE! This video doesn't do it justice. For some reason, it looks extremely slow, but every bit of this ride is fast, and top of the line! Good video!
The last i rode this coaster was back in '97 and the tunnel didn't have lights, it was pitch black!! That added to the excitement!!
Twisted collosuss was awesome it went strait down it's the same thing as this ride it's just a ride that's fun that could make throw up maybe because it's all twisted that's why it's called twisted collossus if u went on this ride then u can go on twisted collosus
This ride is a MONSTER. One of the best RMCs out there along with Twisted Colossus and Steel Vengeance! There is 2 problems with it, it’s that 1 I feel like it’s too short and 2 the lap bar kind of smashes your nuts if your a guy, but hey, all lap bars do that, don’t they.

I’m not a big fan of roller coasters but that ride was dope. When we went down the drop I didn’t scream because I kinda passed out for a min😂But the ride was lit, especially when it’s getting dark.
I was terrified to ride this I watched this video 1000th times and read all the comments before getting on because I was scared, I went to six flags and got on I was nervous at first but it’s was SUPPER FUN ! I ended up riding it 8 times in a row! Ride it you won’t regret it ! I promise

There's not one bad seat on here but the back seat is amazing on this ride. Its super intense. You feel as if you're being thrown off the ride as you're whipped over the top.

Two things. I thought I was going to fly out of my seat into the abyss on the first twist and I thought I was going to smash my head against the cave wall, but I ducked just in time. Glad to keep my head. Great ride.
dbrocker30 Those are called headchoppers- they’re meant to feel like that, but your head has no chance of hitting it.
I rode this yesterday and it was beyond insane the part thats the best is when you feel like your about to fly off on the hills and it was my first time riding a roller coaster too

Before it was Iron Rattler it was call the RATTLER. They took away from it big time. But man that roller coaster had a my neck in pain after the ride lol. Great coaster indefinetly. Miss San Antonio.

spoonkey It's not about how fun it is but how intense it is. Fun fact: The original wooden coaster had its first drop raised at the bottom because it was way too intense. (Intensity + roughness = not a good combo.)
I love this ride! I have ridden it the last time I went to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. However the very last turn coming out of the tunnel should be fixed. They need to make the track so it doesn't throw you out of your seat to the left.

My first ever thrill ride was screaming at Disney land California adventure it is a launching ride and then my second ever thrill ride was full throttle an even faster launch coaster the loop on it it used to be the biggest loop in the world u stay up on the top of the loop for like 5 seconds it's fun

If you’re scared to do this, trust me it’s not scary, I was a little nervous at first today, but now it’s my favorite coaster of all time
I have seen POV after POV of this coaster, and I have ridden Outlaw Run.. while this coaster looks insanely incredible,besides it's barrel roll it has more hills than anything, whereas Outlaw Run offers more elements along it's course. Outlaw Run has some incredible twist's and turns that aren't on this coaster, while both incredible coasters by RMC, Outlaw Run is going to take more votes this year hands down..
Went on this ride last summer, and I'm going again this July!

i just got back from Fiesta Texas and the last thing we rode was Iron Rattler. It was amazing and the drop is soooooo intense. Then it broke down and me and my friend did Poltergeist
hands down the best drop on any coaster... well next to millennium force
when I did this we got back In line like 6 times
I didn’t get on this but I got on the road runner express and both rides go at the same time which is so cool we got wave at everyone on the rattler
