Rick Mercer- Canada's best kept secret. He should be more known than Stephen Colbert.

As an American, i can confirm this is what we are taught in schools, that Europe is a country, canada is south of us, and that the Milky Way galaxy is actually the entire universe

A friend of ours was telling us about the time when she and her husband travelled to the southern states because of his job. They were sitting in a restaurant and told their American dinner companions that they had arrived by dog sled. This was in the summer. When they told them that the Americans got up and went to the window to look at the dogs and the sled in the parking lot. True story--not joking!

So sad for Canada that we don't have access to the ocean for our navy. Thank you so much to the US for allowing Canada to use US ports for our ships. WOW! Do Americans have access to atlases ..google maps???

The ignorance is overwhelming. What made a point to me were the tenured professors. Absolutely mind boggling!
