This video discusses the general biology of lambda bacteriophage and cosmid cloning vectors. There are two types - insertional and replacement - of vectors derived from lambda bacteriophage. This requires the use of spi phenotype since bacteriophage vectors have no selection or screening markers. From the bacteriophage vector, cosmids are created, relying on the unique function of cos sites. Understanding cosmid means understanding the structure and function of cos sites. Cosmid containing viruses are assembled in vitro by extracting virus proteins from bacteria and mixing it with the cosmid DNA in a tube.

Keep up the good work brother
The storytelling method works perfect in cases of concepts such as these!
Not brother he is a professor
Bro
I just want to say thank you so much for your videos. They are truly amazing and have been super helpful!
All of RUclips and this is the only video giving me exactly what I want
Can you please make videos on transposons and transposable elements
You're the best
