Hello there. We really appreciate this lovely compliment, and of course, we're always working on improving our services. So, we'll keep your suggestion in mind for the future. Happy Wising! 💚
I opened wise account yesterday. Account verified. When I clicked on the wise payment link which the vendor sent to me to pay him, it said my wise account is not enough balance. I want to pay from my bank account, not from wise account balance. Can you tell how to pay in this situation?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out. When someone sends you a payment request link, you should be able to pay either using your Wise balance, or via your external bank account. If you're not seeing the option to pay using your external bank account, please reach out to us via DM on Facebook, Instagram, or X with a screenshot of what you see on your end. We'd be happy to take a closer look at this for you.
Hey Basom 👋 You can open an account with us from India or Africa and you can get started here: wi.se/createaccount. Please sure to take a look to see where you can't access Wise from: wi.se/notsupportedcountries You can send money to someone's Wisetag by opening your recipient's link or by scanning their Wisetag QR code with your phone. See more here: wi.se/mywisetag Due to the platform specifics, you can't send a DM on RUclips, but you can reach out to us via Instagram, Facebook, or X and let us know your membership number if you have any other questions. We'll be happy to assist you over there.
Hi there! We have an option that might be the perfect fit for you 🤩 Read more about our Affiliate Program here: wi.se/affiliate-program And if you have any questions, just let us know!
Why can't i withdraw money from my wise card in UK. I have activated my card in the shop and I can pay in shop but my worries is everytime i use the card to withdraw cash from cash machine it says sorry this can't be completed. What should I do please.
Hi there. You should be able to withdraw cash from most ATMs. Here's a Mastercard & Visa ATM locator for your reference: wi.se/whereyoucanuseyourcard Make sure to also check your card payment methods on your app. Enable the ATM withdrawal from there. Next, when entering your PIN, make sure to enter the correct 4-digit PIN. If you're not sure what it is, you can see it on your app as well. If these don't work, it might be because it's an incompatible ATM. Trying another machine might help. If you need more help, reach out to us on email (wi.se/contactus) or on our social media private message. You can find the official channels at the bottom of our webpage: wi.se/wisepage Hope this helps 😊
i open an account with wise more than a week ago , i still did not receive my account details ? can some one please explain how long will it take ? i also upload my ids for verification already .
Hey, Adeeb! Just in case, make sure you've completed all the steps here: wi.se/getbankdetails since we might request an ID for a few types of verification (Not necessarily only for getting account details). If you're sure all the steps have been done, we'd need to take a closer look to see what's up - Be sure to reach out to us over email/phone/chat here: wi.se/contactus or by sending a private message on our official Facebook, Twitter/X or Instagram channels 📥
Hi, Francis. Are you trying to send GHS? If so, we've temporarily stopped transfers of this currency. We're working on making this route available again as soon as we can, but for now, we explain more about it here: wi.se/transfersghs. Sending USD/EUR to bank accounts in Ghana should still be possible, though. However, this will be done via SWIFT, and there are extra costs for that. Here's why: wi.se/swiftpayments If you need any help with that, you can contact us via DM on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter, and we'll be right there for you 🙂
Thanks for providing this amazing content, I really appreciate your effort. My question is can I send money from my WISE account to another person's AMAZON WALLET OR ACCOUNT? And does the transfer to the person's AMAZON WALLET go immediately? Thanks in advance.
Hi there, yes, you can send money to another person's external account as long as they share their account details with you. See more info on sending from your balance here: wi.se/sendfrombalance While we aim for most transfers to be instant, there are some cases where they can take longer due to different factors. It can also depend on the payment method used, conversion times, or when the transfer was set up. For more info on how long it might take, see here: wi.se/howlongdoesatransfertakes If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on our other social media platforms or via phone and email here: wi.se/contactus
Hey there. Thank you for your reply here, it's much appreciated 💚 Also, please feel free to send us a PM, or DM, on Facebook, Instagram, or X, in case you ever have any questions. We'd be glad to assist you!
Hey there, Bhinda! The time it takes to receive the Wise card can vary between 3-21 working days, depending on your region. You can check out the normal delivery times for each region here, though: wi.se/mywisecardhasntarrived You can't receive money directly to your Wise card, but you can receive money to your Wise account and spend it using your Wise card if you have account details with us. To get account details, you'll need to live in an eligible region, top up your account with 20 GBP or equivalent in your currency, and then get verified. More info here: wi.se/getbankdetails If you have other questions, please feel free to send us a DM on Facebook, Instagram, or X. Our team would be more than happy to help out 😊
Hi there. We really appreciate your valuable feedback as this helps us improve our services. We'll take this feedback on board when we're prioritizing the next set of banks to integrate with. In the meantime, though you may not be able to link your bank account, you should still be able to follow the steps here and enter your details manually to send money with us: wi.se/howtosendmoney Feel free to DM us on Instagram, X or Facebook if you need further assistance or contact us here: wi.se/directcontactus. We're happy to help.
I know I can take cash from an ATM using my physical Wise card but is it possible to get cash from an ATM, bank or anywhere else using the digital card in my wallet?
Hey Steve 👋 It's possible to get cash from an ATM using your digital card, but only if the ATM support the contactless feature. You'd also need to add the digital card to your mobile wallet, and withdraw from an ATM with contactless using the corresponding preset PIN (in case it’s requested by the ATM). Depending on where your card was issued, there would be some exceptions about where you can use it. Check out this page for more info: wi.se/whereyoucanuseyourcard If you need more assistance, feel free to reach out to us via DM over Facebook, X or Instagram; or else you can email/phone us here: wi.se/contactus
Hey, Brett. On your app, you should see a separate Card tab, and on the home page, you can see your Balances and the "Send" button. Hi Ahmad 👋 It depends on what we're asking from you during verification. We usually verify your identity with a photo ID, proof of address, and/or a picture of you holding your ID. Thank you for your videos. So much information. Do you think converting money and storing it on the account when the exchange rate is good, a good idea?
Great question! This would totally depend on your needs. As the rate fluctuates all the time, you can also sign up for a rate alert and be notified when it's a good time to make the change here: wi.se/ratetracker If you already store money into your Wise account, you'd then don't have to wait for the payment to come through the account to make the transfer and can do so immediately when this happens..
Hello, at 3:20 you talk about investments but I do not see that option on my account. There is no Balance information tab at all. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovina and I have Euros in the account.
Hello, Kerim. At the moment, the Stocks/Interests products aren't available for customers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We'll definitely announce in our pages, in case anything changes there. More info about this, here: wi.se/interestandstocksinfo Thanks.
After I have finished my wise international transfer, will I receive a receipt of the transaction which shows both the bank account the money came from and the bank account that it was sent to? Does this include the name(s) of the account owners? I would need this information to provide to my bank when I send from my U.S. account to my overseas account. The bank must see that I have sent money from "my" foreign account to "my" overseas account. In short I require full notation of the transaction.
Hey there 👋 If you're receiving a transfer you can download a transfer receipt which includes details like the transfer number, banking partner reference along with account numbers. You can also use this to get the payment located if your transfer is taking longer than expected. See more here: wi.se/getpdfreceipt If you have any other specific questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us on our other social media platforms or via phone and email here: wi.se/contactus
I finally got my card 😅 how much is each transaction? If I only keep PHP currency can I still spend that in the USA 🇺🇸? Is the USA currency a true 4.3 % interest per month ? You also just raised your fees. Don’t let others beat you 😅
Glad to know that you've received the card, Vincent 💚 There’s a lot you can do with your Wise card for free. And we charge transparent fees for spending in currencies you don’t have in your account and withdrawing cash after a certain amount. If you have the currency in your account, it’s free and if you don’t have the currency in your account, there’s a conversion fee. For instance, if you're in the USA and you don't have funds in USD balance, with our smart conversion technology, you can still spend money with your Wise card. Find more about it here: wi.se/smartconversiontech Also, regarding interest, you can earn interest on your Wise USD balance if you live in the US. Find more here: wi.se/earninginterestinus Furthermore, we understand that price increases are frustrating - it’s not something we enjoy doing. We charge as little as possible, and we’re always looking for ways to make that number smaller. We’re upfront about our fees, and you’ll only ever pay for what you use. If you have any other concerns, feel free to DM us on Facebook, Instagram, or X. Alternatively, you can email/call us using this link: wi.se/contactus
I've been trying to open a wise account but i am not receiving the phone number verification code regardless of the method i use so how can you guys help me

Hey there, Pradeep. Please make sure your App is up-to-date. You can try the following troubleshooting steps: - Update the app to the most recent version. - Try to uninstall and reinstall the app and switch off the device, wait for 30 seconds, and switch it on again. Also, keep in mind that our Balances feature is only available in certain regions. More info here: wi.se/balanceavailability If you still have issues with it, please send us a private message in one of our supported channels (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) with a screenshot of this error message, along with your membership number. We'll look into it 🔎
Hi there 👋 It sounds like you're asking about checking the bank info for your external account. You should be able to do this on your mobile or online banking, but we suggest to check directly with your bank if you're not sure where to find the info. If you're expecting a transfer to your Wise account, you can check the transfer receipt for the sending info. Find out how to download a transfer receipt here: wi.se/getpdfreceipt If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out on our official support channels: Facebook, X/Twitter, or Instagram.
It's our pleasure to help you. If you've any other questions, let us know via our official verified support channels listed in our earlier reply. We'll be there for you 🙂
I'm from the Philippines, there is no open balance account option in my app. What should I do to receive money from US? Thank you so much for your guidance.
Hey there 👋 Currently we don't offer our balances feature to receive money in the Philippines: wi.se/balanceavailability We did before, and hopefully we're back in the future, but right now we don't have any updates to share.
I forgot my password but ive reached the maximum number of attempts and cannot log in anymore even when i got a new password. What should i do to resolve this problem? Thank you in advance!
Hi. We recommend to wait for at least a few hours before trying to change the password again. If you were able to change it, and now unable to log in due to high amount of attempts, then do give it some time before you try again. Once you do, make sure that you're using the correct password. If nothing works, please reach out to us: wi.se/contactus, so we could help.
Hi, I am moving to Korea next month and I want to use Wise for receiving money from my home country. Do you guys offer any physical card which I can actually buy and use in Korea? And can I be able to send my money from wise to Korean bank account?
Hey, Aygun. Great news, you can receive money directly to your Wise account in South Korea. You'll need to add 20 GBP (or equivalent) to activate your account details. Learn more here: wi.se/getbankdetails At the moment, our Wise card is not yet available in South Korea. We're always working on expanding our feature to reach more locations. You can join our waitlist for now: wi.se/joincardwaitlist To answer your last question, you can send money from your balance to a local bank account in Korea. Here's a helpful guide: wi.se/guidetokrw_ 🙂

If you're talking about increasing limits to receive PHP, then we would need you to provide us a proof of address. Once that's accepted, your limit is automatically increased. What we accept as a proof: wi.se/verifyyouraddress Upload it here: wi.se/documentupload More info on other receiving limits: wi.se/borderlesslimits If that's not what you're talking about, you can send us a private message on FB/IG or Twitter and we'll guide you more. Does the transactions tab display incoming transactions as well as outgoing? Or does it only keep track of and display outgoing (money sent to someone else) transactions?
Hey, Jeremiah. Generally, we can't track incoming deposits from external bank accounts until it reaches your account. If it's an incoming deposit from another account in Wise, you should be able to see it. But, we can only share specifics of the transfer with the sender due to privacy reasons. Learn more here: wi.se/howcanitrackmytransfer If you've further questions, feel free to reach out to us over on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram 🙂
Say I send an invoice to someone who has wise and I also send the invoice through my wise but I want the funds to be sent directly to my bank account. What fees do I have to consider?
Hi, there! How much a transfer costs depends on three things - the amount they're sending, how they pay, and the exchange rate (if 2 different currencies are involved). To see exactly how much your transfer could cost, visit our pricing page: wi.se/ourfees
@@Wise Got this but I have a more detailed and specific query here. Scenario: I request for money to be sent via invoice. If I choose this option of sending a request, will I still be getting the amount sent by someone from the US directly to my local bank account(BPI) since I tagged/labeled this BPI account as my Primary account? This way, I(receiver) do not pay transfer fees since it was sent directly to my local bank. Currently the sender sends payment by inputting my local bank account using his wise account. Not sure that if I utilize the “request” tab, it would still be the same. Hope to hear from you soon 🙏
If the money is coming from a different currency, then conversion is still needed. For example, if you request USD from someone, before we can send it to your local PHP bank, we need to convert it. So, you'll receive the USD on your account, then the conversion happens and we send it to your PHP account. To see how much it'll cost you can check this page: wi.se/sendfees And as a payment method choose Wise Balance.
Hi, just wondering do you guys offer a purchasing goods and services feature (with purchase protection) and if so is there any sort of commission for the seller. We are both in thr European Union using euro
Hey, Adam 👋 We help people send and receive money from abroad, and spend abroad with the Wise card. Also, we're known for our low-cost money transfers. You can hold money in 40+ currencies, and convert between them at the live mid-market rate. You can definitely make a payment through us for buying goods, but we don't have purchase protection feature nor any sort of commission for the seller. We strongly recommend that you know and trust the person or business that you're sending the money to.
Hi, there. Generally, our features in Nepal are quite limited, for example, you can’t currently send money from NPR. Here's more about it: wi.se/nprtransfers But if your bank allows you to send a payment via SWIFT with our global currencies (i.e. from your local bank to Payoneer using USD), you can follow this guide: wi.se/howtosendmoney and read more here about SWIFT: wi.se/swiftpayments We hope this helps!
@@Wise @Wise Thank you for your reply. I also wanted to know if I could transfer money from my USD prepaid dollar card, which is provided by Nepali banks, to make online purchases in USD currency to transfer funds from my dollar card to Payoneer using wise
We see that you're interested to send from USD using your debit card to Payoneer. You'll need to set up a new transfer following these steps: wi.se/howtosendmoney, and we'll show you the available payment methods upfront. If the card payment method is available, you can use your Nepali bank card to pay for the transfer. If you need more help, contact us here: wi.se/contactus and we'll be happy to advise further 😄
@@Wise @Wise Thanks for your reply. Can you please tell me how I can verify my identity? Every time I take a picture of my documents to verify my identity, it shows some kind of error. Don't you have any place where I can upload my documents from a PDF file or jpg? I already have high-quality PDF and png files of my identity card documents with me to verify my identity instead of having to take pictures of my documents on your site and then upload my documents. That way, it's not working for me.
Verification is a very important step to us, and so we have to follow a strict set of guidelines while reviewing the documents. Your documents can get rejected if they don't meet our requirements i.e. it may be in a format we can’t accept, like a PDF. I’m moving abroad from uk to Australia in a couple of weeks. Should I transfer all my money on wise from gbp to dollars? (I have no financial ties in the uk)
Hey, Lee 😊 Thanks for reaching out. It’s completely up to you, since you have two options: just keep the money in the currency you have, and we’ll convert the money for you automatically using the real mid-market rate, which includes a small conversion fee. Or, you can convert a bigger sum beforehand, if you see a desirable rate: wi.se/ratetracker, so you could pay like a local. You can always double-check our fees upfront from here: wi.se/ourfees, as well. We hope this helps, but if you have more questions, feel free to send us a message in any of our other social media channels, we'll be glad to assist you further.
Hi, Sharma. If you've a personal account based in India, you can only send money overseas with us. Our balance feature where you can hold/convert/receive money isn't available there. I do have an account registered in Wise but never have used it before I mean if I want to send or receive transfers all do is start receiving or sending right?! I understand that on my first sending or receiving transfer I’ll be asked for some verification documents or how does it works? Thanks ✌🏻
I work for a International Christian Ministry and as a member of trusted person like anyone who sending money to the ministry sends it to me on my bank account and typically any class of transfers will be perfect and I get paid by receiving the funds and the rest I send it to the ministry and to whom they tell me to send it to and sometimes is some people, different companies, organizations and even investing into crypto.
Hey there, Blanco. In your first transfer, we'll request some documents to complete a verification phase - As we're a financial institution, we need to know who’s using our service. Due to regulatory requirements in certain regions, sometimes we need a document that shows how our customers earn their money, and that their money comes from a legitimate source, before we’re able to complete a transfer. It helps us combat money laundering, and keep everyone’s money safe. That way we can keep providing you even faster, cheaper and more transparent service. You can read more about this here: wi.se/getverifiedguide If you use your account for business purposes, you'd need to open a business account, Blanco. See more info about it here: wi.se/businessaccount If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to sending a private message on Facebook, Instagram, X or via this link: wi.se/contactus - We'll be happy to help.

Yes I will have to ask if any documents legally exists because since we always use any personal bank accounts as possible because since I or we don’t have any documents legally I think to open any type of business accounts and without any legally documents any bank will not open a business under their or under my name and for that purpose we have to use any personal accounts matter as possible.
@@Wise The problem in having any legal documents in the way I receive and send transfers it will be legal in the International Christian Ministry but not legally legal since will need a court order to make it legal and maybe that way in Wise can allow me to make transfers easily but may Wise will order me to open a business account and for that it will be more complicated. Thanks!

We don't offer account details in JPY, so you won't be able to receive money as you need account details to share with whoever wants to send you money, but you can open a JPY balance and top up your account yourself. See the steps on how to open a balance with us: wi.se/create-a-balance If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to us on Instagram, Twitter (X), or Facebook and PM us.

Hi there. If you chose the standard delivery option, we're unable to track your card delivery. But, we try to give the best estimated date of arrival that we can.

@@Wise hi there, a quick question: why now new Wise account make starting Jan 1, 2024 is no longer available for Indonesia? To receive money
Here's a Mastercard & Visa ATM locator for your reference: wi.se/whereyoucanuseyourcard
Make sure to also check your card payment methods on your app.
You can find the official channels at the bottom of our webpage: wi.se/wisepage

Here's why: wi.se/swiftpayments

See more info on sending from your balance here: wi.se/sendfrombalance
While we aim for most transfers to be instant, there are some cases where they can take longer due to different factors. It can also depend on the payment method used, conversion times, or when the transfer was set up.

Thank you for your videos. So much information. Do you think converting money and storing it on the account when the exchange rate is good, a good idea?
Great question! This would totally depend on your needs. As the rate fluctuates all the time, you can also sign up for a rate alert and be notified when it's a good time to make the change here: wi.se/ratetracker
If you already store money into your Wise account, you'd then don't have to wait for the payment to come through the account to make the transfer and can do so immediately when this happens..

I finally got my card 😅 how much is each transaction? If I only keep PHP currency can I still spend that in the USA 🇺🇸? Is the USA currency a true 4.3 % interest per month ? You also just raised your fees. Don’t let others beat you 😅
Glad to know that you've received the card, Vincent 💚
There’s a lot you can do with your Wise card for free.
Find more about it here: wi.se/smartconversiontech
Also, regarding interest, you can earn interest on your Wise USD balance if you live in the US. Find more here: wi.se/earninginterestinus
Furthermore, we understand that price increases are frustrating - it’s not something we enjoy doing. We charge as little as possible, and we’re always looking for ways to make that number smaller. We’re upfront about our fees, and you’ll only ever pay for what you use.
If you have any other concerns, feel free to DM us on Facebook, Instagram, or X. Alternatively, you can email/call us using this link: wi.se/contactus

where does one find bank information (Name of Bank,Routing, BIC) for transfers made from Puerto Rico in US dollars for example?
Hi there 👋 It sounds like you're asking about checking the bank info for your external account.

Hi 😊 Not necessary at all! You can keep your current balance, and we'll convert the money for you automatically with the real mid-market rate when you withdraw or pay. More here: wi.se/smartconversiontech.
@@Wise so will that be the same rate of exchange if I don’t convert ?
We'll use the real exchange rate when we automatically convert for you: wise.com/gb/mid-market-rate
You can read more about this here: wi.se/getverifiedguide
If you use your account for business purposes, you'd need to open a business account, Blanco. See more info about it here: wi.se/businessaccount
If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to sending a private message on Facebook, Instagram, X or via this link: wi.se/contactus - We'll be happy to help.
Just adding some extra info, Blanco.

If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to sending a private message on Facebook, Instagram, X or via this link: wi.se/contactus - We'll be happy to help.
Thanks!

Please give me suggest how i can recieve japanese bank account
Hey there 👋 At the moment, you can only add money and hold it in JPY. We don't offer account details in JPY, so you won't be able to receive money as you need account details to share with whoever wants to send you money, but you can open a JPY balance and top up your account yourself.

How does the referral reward works
Hey, Ashok
There are various invite programs at Wise, and rewards differ as well. Check out this page to find out how they work: wi.se/inviteprogramgen
Can I get money if my referred person completes first transaction
It depends on the invite program you're assigned to. For example, one program in the UK lets you earn 75 GBP once 3 invited friends make a qualifying transfer of at least 200 GBP each. On your app, you can go to the top right corner on your homepage and click Earn to see your referral program.
