      Well, the history of the V12 in the Aston flows from Ford's short time of ownership. I'm not sure it's really a point of pride for purists. Then again a Mercedes V8 isn't anything to sneeze at. I guess the video games had V12 Astons in them.

    • @RealityClubX
      @RealityClubX 2 месяца назад +20

      New Vantage is not an upgrade in design. It just took from the DB12 and now there's less differentiating all their models apart from the rear. I'm so confused by the identical interior between the other models, and now the identical front between almost every model they make.

  • @keithrobertson2401
    @keithrobertson2401 2 месяца назад +28

    I do appreciate that they stuck with a non hybrid. V12 to boot. I think this makes the car so much more desirable and collectible for years to come. We know how to maintained engines, we have been doing for over 100 years. Keeping a hybrid or electric car functional for 25+ years is still unknown territory. If the P1 is any indication of the future of those types of cars, it isn’t looking bright.(for those who don’t know if you own a McLaren P1 and have battery issues and need to replace they really are impossible to find since they moved on to producing Artura battery’s. Even before they were impossible to source they were like $400k American.)

    • @markmwala2886
      @markmwala2886 2 месяца назад

      Your statement though True isn't entirely so, P1's still go for £1million + , same goes for Porsche 918 and even more so with the La Ferrari which is now between £3&4 million, the problem isn't about being a hybrid, it's about what kind of hybrid it is because I Assure you the Revuelto and Tourbilon will age and prive very well on the hyper car market because they still posses key characteristics that define the brand.

    • @user-xf5dj1up8g
      @user-xf5dj1up8g Месяц назад

      Hybrids are far superior to classic ice-only vehicles because you get the best of both worlds. It’s FULL electric vehicles that absolutely suck. I mean, could you just imagine that insane torque on a hybrid v12?!?!?! That thing would rip through the streets.

    I was unable to afford the one at that time as I was so young. I was so thankful to the kind staff of the showroom for showing me the car and answering my questions. It was direct import car as Aston Martin was not being imported officially to my country at that time. Now the brand is officially imported to the country.

    NICE! They should bring back the manual transmission too. Even if it was a special NA MT V12 edition. Call it The Pure Edition or something, less power, more engagement.

    It's not ugly but it's not pretty either, about the touch with Ferrari, ASTON dreams of one day even reaching the smell of Ferrari!! I've worked in the area for almost 16 years, those who have driven and driven cars from both brands know very well that the AM doesn't even come close to what a Ferrari is in every sense!

      Ferrari may beat AM hands down in terms of driving but in terms of styling AM has been spanking Ferrari, whose angular, overworked and rarely elegant lines used to be a Ferrari hallmark. In fact, the only Ferrari to have a hint of elegance in recent years has been the Roma and that clearly looks like a rip off from the Vantage

      What does “worked in the area” mean? People who “work in the area” are mechanics, salespeople, et cetera, who generally have little to no personal experience owning any of these cars.

    Aston Martin killed it with these new cars. Absolutely amazing look , love the body lines. Like the new engine & transmission this car should do very well hopefully more influencers will purchase showcase this car.

    I have never seen Aston nail a car in every possible way like they have done with this Vanquish. I always find a sticking point, either the lights, the interior, or something else but, on this one, everything looks perfect. A work of art on wheels with the non-hybridized V12 as a cherry on top. Well done, Aston!

    That color looks great. I'd get the exterior mirrors in body color, along with the brighter trim along the mirrors. I'd also get the racing seats on the inside, unless they are really uncomfortable.
