Thanks for taking the time to film and make a well produced video. Against the odds, I'm taking my wife, our 2.5y/o son and 6mo. little girl. Fly fishing in nameless mountains has always been special to me. This is something I want to share with them. Great video and good reminder - walking in with the expectation that I may not even wet a line is a good start.
As a father of four daughters I have had to curb most of my expectations for fishing with them. I had to learn to just be present and let happen what's going to happen. Great video!
Love this video man I started my son when he was 3 and it's been a challenge for sure he's 5 now and has a little better grasp on things but still always distracted by other things I took him to chase bluegill and he caught so many he was over it lol 🤣
we are heading to Yellowstone this summer. it's where I worked and caught my first trout. Hopefully able to get my son to catch his first trout on a flyrod

Thanks so much! It's all about expectations, and I tripped up on mine for this one!

Man, it was such a tough lesson to learn! But thankfully there will be many many more attempts.
Beautiful video! All so true!
Thanks, Robert! Really appreciate it.

Thanks so much! Fingers crossed that we can cross that threshold of bluegill... once the weather cools off a thousand degrees haha

Oh in Yellowstone? Should be easy!
