Produced in conjunction with UPnGO with ParticipACTION. The video explains the science behind how sitting less and moving more throughout the day can lead to increased productivity at work. There is so much science behind how exercise increases our productivity. I think that its great that elementary/middle schools require kids to go to gym class everyday and have recess. It improves concentration, focus, grades, and mental health. I think as we get older, exercise begins to become more of the individuals choice. When I got to high school gym class wasn't required anymore, there wasn't recess, and if you didn't play sports there really wasn't that much time to exercise at home. I think that gym classes should be required at all ages, even in college. I also think that some work places should require employees to exercise. This could solve some our our obesity crisis in america, and why wouldn't you when there is so much research proving how beneficial it is? It would increase our cognitive functioning, it would make us happier, and we would get a better outcome in our grades, mental health, and overall productivity. I can personally say I agree that exercise increases productivity. On days I exercise, I am happier, more motivated, and get a lot more on my to do list done than if I spent the extra half hour trying to do work instead of exercise. Even if its just 10 min a day, we can all be more productive!

What is considered too much? Because what you're saying is completely opposite to what I am experiencing. Also, I tend to sleep more than normal(10 or more hours) which I am trying to prevent.
