This video was very informative I found that 31% of the bones are water, and that lack of water causes the brain to contract. What impressed me was that drinking a lot of water at once could be a problem. Also, I was curious about the reason why the color of urine is dark when I drink less water, but this video told me. I also learned anew that I have a disease called moisture addiction. Thank you for making this video and I look forward to more informative videos.

Drinking water also reduces the chance of having kidney stones. I've been hospitalized at least once a year since I was 18 because of that. I'm 27 now, it has been 3 years since the last time I've been to a hospital because of that, but I really don't know why lol
Most kidney stones are causes by calcium build up. Everybody has different levels of calcium that they can absorb before their bodies start to crystallize, but long story short, if you dont drink water to flush the excess minerals and calcium out of your kidneys, they eventually clump together. A little science experiment you could do, would be to open some sugar packets into some water and try to stir it for a second or so. Then drain the water. The sugar deposits left behind is basically what happens when you develop kidney stones. You need to pee quite a lot for your body to be in top working fashion
My ex was like this. Never drank water, ever. He would only buy cases of soda and sweetened drinks. Literally have no idea how he was even alive or had any energy to get through the day. If I dont drink water I feel seriously awful
@stee this is like me lol I usually go months without a sip of water. I usually only drink monster. Went from about 10-15 a day when I was in the service to now like 5 a day.
Drinking water to gain more energy and even we feel better as well . Water has potency to reduce the chances of some disease and it boosts your energy . Without water we can not stay longer. We have to drink water on daily routine and keep hydrated ourselves.
Well that’s me trying to keep up to date with my water intake after watching this video even though after 3 days from now I probably just drink less again..
I'm so happy this popped up in my recommendation. I'm 15 and almost everyday I never drink water. Due to medication I take, it tightens my stomach which lowers my appetite by a lot. After watching this, I'm gonna consider trying to drink water *MORE OFTEN.* For example, I wake up, take like *three* sips, and thats all for the day. Until later in the night. I noticed that my typing has been off a bit, and watching this has convinced me that I *REALLY NEED TO START DRINKING MORE WATER.* Edit: *I don't even drink Soda, that is mainly on rare occasions.* Milk with cereal, yes, but thats pretty much it. No other liquids. Take care and stay safe to anyone who has read this. Also, bless the person who made this video, it is educational and foremost life changing in a way.
Age and medication make a difference. My 86 year old grandma was extremely hyponatremic (low sodium) from being on Lisinopril. Her salt was so low she had to be hospitalized twice since she was close to having seizures. Turns out she didn't even need the medication, her blood pressure is actually better off of it, almost perfect in fact. Of course the doctors denied the medicine is what caused it, but it was only after her 2nd episode of ambulance/hospital/almost dying that I started to look up causes. I'd had a heart specialist do a complete workup on her and her heart was fine, so I took her off that medicine and the episodes stopped. I have to make sure she doesn't drink too much water because elderly people don't need as much as younger people and in her case could actually be dangerous.
I have experienced dehydration and it was horrrrible. I started off with a headache, then I was unappetizing so I didn’t really eat much at lunch, then my stomach was starting to hurt and I got very sick and tired. My friends told me this so I got some advice to drink a lot of water even though the water tasted horrible. This was during school and happened all day. It is because your kidneys need water to flow just like all of your other organs. If you are dehydrated for long enough, you could burst a kidney or severely injure yourself. Honestly idk if this is true info but it was what I experienced.
I think it's worth mentioning that older people tend to feel less thirsty and need to drink more water. Hence they should pay more attention to how much they drink than whether they feel thirsty or not.
I recommend drinking water, guys. I went a week without drinking water and it landed me in the hospital. It was a horrible stabbing pain in my back and front. The injections and medicine given to me was horrible. Never again.
thanks for this video, i've had kidney stones and one of the most useful things to avoid that is hydration and this quick video was nice, thank you for that :)
If u drink beer everyday your kidney will be damage because when u drink bear the acid goes out and hen u drink again acid goes out and drink again everyday and then u will have a kidney failure because there's Soo much acid in kidney
To all those who fast as I do: You'll understand the replenishment and chill of the throat when you drink water after 12-13 hours of not eating and drinking anything. Ahh, that feeeling! It's really great!
Sadly it's not that easy. I am never thirsty, so I never drink and that is unhealthy af. Usually if I don't force myself to drink water and just drink by "thirsty or not", it's about 0.2 liters a day. :/

Hyponatremia is not a term for over-hydration. It is a consequence of it, meaning literally "lack of sodium" resulting from the dilution effect of drinking too much water, and pissing it out.
I know Right? i face-palmed through out the video. these ted idiots need to do some RESEARCH before posting a science video, instead of talking about what they don't fully comprehend. i bet that the video publisher wasn't too good in science class while in school.
I drink water around once a month. I drink one 8oz pop a day and a maybe a 8 or 16 oz tea. That’s about it. I often try forcing water but I always fail. It’ll last for a day or two and that’s it. When i was marathon training I drank a lot of water but only before and after running.

Thank you for making this video and I look forward to more informative videos.

for all you people who say water is flavorless or boring, the more you drink it and the less you drink sweet stuff or anything else other than good water the more you appreciate it and it starts tasting good i swear like ill take a glass of water over almost any drink
water definitely has a flavor once you actually drink it.
@Tea Time Ignorance-fuelled disregard for your own health is not something to boast about.
@Tea Time i hope you one day change that opinion. you have no idea how good water is for you
@Tea Time oh i see tea time is your yt name so thats not too bad atleast as long as you dont put a bunch of sugar in your tea
I love drinking it when I'm really thirsty 😂

I got an idea. How about you just drink some water whenever you feel thirsty?
When you feel the need to drink water it means you are already dehydrated
that's what your sussposed to do

My father in law does not drink any water ever. I’ve always wondered how bad that must be for his health. I was mind blown when he told me.
My ex was like this. Never drank water, ever. He would only buy cases of soda and sweetened drinks. Literally have no idea how he was even alive or had any energy to get through the day. If I dont drink water I feel seriously awful
@@stee8345 he don't have any health issue ?? Like how can he -

Drinking water to gain more energy and even we feel better as well . Water has potency to reduce the chances of some disease and it boosts your energy . Without water we can not stay longer. We have to drink water on daily routine and keep hydrated ourselves.

Water is a hero
Well that’s me trying to keep up to date with my water intake after watching this video even though after 3 days from now I probably just drink less again..
I'm so happy this popped up in my recommendation. I'm 15 and almost everyday I never drink water. Due to medication I take, it tightens my stomach which lowers my appetite by a lot.
After watching this, I'm gonna consider trying to drink water *MORE OFTEN.* For example, I wake up, take like *three* sips, and thats all for the day. Until later in the night. I noticed that my typing has been off a bit, and watching this has convinced me that I *REALLY NEED TO START DRINKING MORE WATER.*
Edit: *I don't even drink Soda, that is mainly on rare occasions.* Milk with cereal, yes, but thats pretty much it.

🙏
Wait so you cut off water?

I have experienced dehydration and it was horrrrible. I started off with a headache, then I was unappetizing so I didn’t really eat much at lunch, then my stomach was starting to hurt and I got very sick and tired. My friends told me this so I got some advice to drink a lot of water even though the water tasted horrible. This was during school and happened all day. It is because your kidneys need water to flow just like all of your other organs. If you are dehydrated for long enough, you could burst a kidney or severely injure yourself. Honestly idk if this is true info but it was what I experienced.

Hyponatremia is not a term for over-hydration. It is a consequence of it, meaning literally "lack of sodium" resulting from the dilution effect of drinking too much water, and pissing it out.
+OzzieBloke true, i had a funny face when i saw that part of the vid.. hyponatremia also occurs in a lack of hydration..

I drink water around once a month. I drink one 8oz pop a day and a maybe a 8 or 16 oz tea. That’s about it. I often try forcing water but I always fail. It’ll last for a day or two and that’s it. When i was marathon training I drank a lot of water but only before and after running.
