  • In today's video, I would like to review a simply magnificent flying regulator from Chronoswiss, a brand which I hold very dear due to their brilliant identity and unique aesthetic. This piece offers a wonderful option as an everyday watch with a high water resistance, beautiful design, and serviceeable movement.

    That's not a watch, is a piece of art. absolutely lovely.

    You have elevated your reviews to another level. The artful timepiece specific introduction, and the lighting throughout was superlative. Your knowledge as always, impeccable. Whilst this timepiece isn't my personal favorite, one most certainly appreciate your passion and attention to detail. You have become my favorite on RUclips. You are as beautiful and unique as the timepieces you present.

    As the admirer that I am of the work of Chronoswiss, and especially of the Flying Regulator, I am delighted with the beauty of this watch, those colors are delicious

    Wow! Besides being a bit large, I can't think of a thing that I don't love about this watch. I want one. Excellent presentation!

      If you like this watch should look at the Chronoswiss Day and Night, its absolutely beautiful and a touch more lume for low light viewing.

    Great Vid Armand.I personally would't worry too much about it not being a in house movement or not,to be honest most of us are not millionaires despite what a lot of people on the internet think they are.The watch is a wonderful thing,the dial is fantastic work the rose cut stuff,the different levels of the dials,the hand set,i could go on.The point is this kind of watch is not out of the range
    Lange & Sonne or others 30-40 thousand and up so it gives us at least a chance to own such a great watch most of the people that scoff at an in house movement could't afford one if it did have one.
    Thanks man.

    Chronoswiss is probably the most under-rated watches on the market, as demonstrated by this watch. I only wish for this watch that the screws on the dial are oriented in the same direction.

    So well done I had to watch it twice. ;-)
    So many watch geeks love to talk about getting their 'grail' watch, and you will most often hear names like Rolex, Audemar Piguet, and Patek Philippe. Those people just aren't looking hard enough.

    Loved watching this video for over a year & finally I have one from CW Sellors. Ironically I thought it quite small when I put it on, then obviously watching it on a 65” tv regularly it would be. 🤣 beautiful watch indeed

    A follower mentioned your video in another vlog, I am very happy I saw this! never heard of this watch, and I'm floored! Awesome presentation, and lighting really done this watch well! Watch like this, I'd mount it on the wall as art! Thank you!

    Several elements are intriguing. The applied lugs, onion crown, screwed strap bars, and fact the fact it is a regulator are very interesting.

    ...it's certainly a very beautyful piece...my only perplexity is whether it will hold it's value in time (as for many wristwatches for that matter)

    I wish Chronoswiss would reissue their Timemaster 44mm again with updated movement. That watch is a modern classic in every right.

    I understand your fascination for Chronoswiss. For me personally, the thickness would be an issue because ultimately wearing comfort is key for watches that will stay forever in the collection. I am of the type that buys a watch and keeps it forever. A good look at the choices, measure out which is best etc... But the built and the originality of this brand are considerable. I don’t know why steampunk resonates with me with this brand, and it has some Breguet influences as well. So, where do you stand when it comes to comfort, how important a factor is it to you if you really like a watch but deem it a bit uncomfortable...? Will you ultimately go for it?

  • @jeholloway2
    @jeholloway2 5 лет назад

    The style is uniquely Chronoswiss. If it had all the features that are in the comments it would be a watch from a different brand. If the name were hidden it would be easy to guess Chronoswiss. Let the brand have its identity.

    As much as the size and thickness are an inevitability because of the design, to say it sits nicely on the wrist is just not in evidence. It looks thinner on wrist than one would think, but the lugs floating off, with... s p a c e under them just looks awkward.
    Good review of an interesting piece.

    I love the Chronoswiss designs and finishing and attention to detail. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of the color of this one, or onion crowns, but that isn't a deal breaker!

  • @thmusic7214

    There myst be only a very niche market for this. It has the decorated case of a high horology classic, the colour scheme and size of a sporty/modern racing watch, huge lugs, leaving a gap for viewing your wrist.

    I found it difficult at first to....well, tell the time. Moreover, I found the design ostentatious and fussy, almost pretentious. So this watch would not be for me.

  • @NebraskaGonvilleJones
    @NebraskaGonvilleJones 5 лет назад

    Got to be honest, I really dislike the design of this watch. The crown and bezel are out of proportion and simply hideous and throw the lugs in that same category. So let’s discuss the dial. Clearly very well crafted, beautifully finished but it so aesthetically ugly I just can’t even. I have no problem with an orange dominated watch but to match that with the rest of this abomination dose vermilion a disservice. This is clearly an absolutely fine time piece with a majestic engine but to package such craft like this (to me) is a crying shame. I own this brand and have great respect for it, just not for this design 😬
