great video! thank you! i have a "vintage" (90s) Chronoswiss Delphis (full kit) and LOVE it. You lucked out with the "extras (magazine, book, etc)! I'll try to find those.
October 2022, the watch is now 7,900 Euros. I got myself the Escapement Time knock-off (which leaves me wanting, but I really wanted a regulator watch, and this design is so nice). Thank you so much for all the history.
In my defense, I purchased the Escapement Time watch before realizing it was an "homage" to the Chronoswiss watch. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have purchased it.
Once more a great video. Very interesting watch, never seen this before. I have a question, or rather, some questions. How do you go about buying your watches? What are some watch auction sites you use? And how can you ensure a good deal and possibly be a fair and respectable bargainer?
I know that Junkers has a regulateur model, ref. number 6512-1, it is bigger (42 mm, 13 mm height etc.), it uses movement Dubois Depraz 14072 and it goes from 1500 €, otherwise it looks very similar to this Chronoswiss.
These pieces have their magic. I've sold mine but remember very well that sophisticated impression. The brand though seems to be in that Eterna-Stage, where you still see the reputation but danger is close, that somebody speaks it out loud: That horse is dead. So if you like a particular model you should buy it imho only in case of a very, very competitive price.
Hi Tim like the watch very much good review never thought about having that type of watch before but going to start looking round see junkers do one that looks like your may have a look a that cheers great show see you next time cheers bill
Isn't it odd that the second hand didn't stop when you were adjusting the time? Probably not the original regulator feature :) Btw, thanks for your videos.
Davor, why do you find that odd? There are many movements without hacking feature. Every Zenith El Primero from the 90s for example. I prefer hackable but also can live with the non-h version. Or did i miss the point here?
@@CasebackWatches ah, is just that regulator watches are designed to be the watch that other watches are regulated against, as you pointed out. My unspoken rethoric question was - how to regulate the regulator if it"s second hand doesn't hack? But I must admit that I didn't investigate how regulator clock movements worked historically. Nevertheless, the watch looks amazing.
Kinda weird that a watch with a face designed based on clocks for regulating watches doesn't hack. Would very much like a video about ENICAR, I've only heard mention of that a few times.
I was expecting something better. Trust me my ETA 2825 (small second) Certina runs almost +/-0.0 second per day and a week later maybe 2 seconds +. So Chronoswiss nothing special for me.
Excellent review! Keep up the great work! And a big YES to a video on Enicar!
I agree on the review on the Enicar, as my wife just founds me a vintage & bought it.
Your video's are so entertaining, Tim! I really enjoy the German way of watch reviewing. Thanks for the great coverage!
Thank you. You have an interesting channel yourself! Just subbed.

Just pulled the trigger on a 2006 timemaster, full set. Looking forward to its arrival.
Excellent Channel ! You sir, have gained another follower :) !
Happy to hear and welcome, Ernest.

I've always admired Chronoswiss from afar. I don't recall actually seeing one in person. That's a gorgeous timepiece.
Btw; An ENICAR video, please ;-)
Any video from you Tim is great!
-Great video.
-Love watch history... (Really history in general.)
-Beautiful watch. Very unique.
Enicar. Yes please, especially the Sherpa Graphs. Great video Tim. Could you zoom in a bit more on the watch. You have nice hands but still.....
Good tip, thanks, will do that.
Another excellent video. Your suits are as distinctive as your watches.

Mathias, one of my older videos is exactly about that topic. Here it is: ruclips.net/video/0QJv2d7Ufq4/видео.html

BEAUTIFUL TIME PIECE, its a classic & timeless.
Phirst.....great video Tim!
Keep up the good work...thanks.
Yes please do a video on the Enicar.
I never thought I would like this watch so much.
Strange isn't it? I thought it would be interesting, but it's really gorgeous.
Would love to learn more about Enicar I always learn from your content. Thx and nice watch.
Tim, do you still own the Chronoswiss? Would you recommend the brand? I am currently looking at the CH9323 with triple date and moonphase. Thanks!

I love chronoswiss, I've owned a regulateur and two kairos .... still want an original opus but others have gotten in the way!

That is a lovely watch. Really nice.
What we put on screws to keep them in place is called lock tight...you call it glue In Germany? Nice watch!!!
Lock tight was on my tongue ;-)

I don't know why I like to do that with it either, lol. But I do. :)
Oris has made some nice Régulateurs some time ago
Enicar , yes .
It would be nicer to get rid of the RED background and replace with say white... enjoying your videos though...
Thanks for watching, Wissam. White? Not sure, i'm pretty happy with my red study, so could take a while before i'm ready for a colour change ;-)
May I know how much u paid for it? I'm thinking of getting 1 for myself
1,8 k Euro
Caseback Watches I got it today for usd1300++ with all papers & box but no service. Comes with original 9yrs old rotten straps
@@RoadstersRegistry Congrats! That's an insane price.

@@RoadstersRegistry Same reference? Maybe another package for the US?
And what about the accuracy?
Normal. About plus 8 sec a day.
