@@gothgirl1711 If you choose the Destroy ending and have over 7000 war assets you get a scene of Shepard in rubble after everything, then they start breathing

BOSKGaming Not for me really. With everyone dying around me and the game's damned blue hue, I rarely felt anything other than melancholy or depression.
The way I perceived it was that you really liked Mass Effect 3 for how it tugged at your heart strings but the way I considered the way you used "depressing" gave it more of a negative feeling
The whole genophage thing was a roller-coaster of doubt and second-guessing. Mordin's death if you're forced to shoot him, and having to gun down Wrex once he discovers you've betrayed him to get the Salarians on your team. (The needs of the many outweighing the needs of the few is an ongoing theme here and makes for some torturous decision-making.) Those were pretty gut-wrenching. I played a fairly ruthless renegade Shepard, but having to deal with the consequences of some of those choices really puts you through the wringer emotionally. The Mass Effect trilogy was absolutely brilliant and I don't regret a second of the time I spent playing it.
The ending with the synthetis literally makes me burst into tears, everytime I see Shepard's face and body desintegrate into the Catalyst it kills me, it's so so so so sad😢😭😭😭😢 and it's even more sad with that beautiful soundtrack (An End,Once and For All )and all the flashbacks you've putted makes it much more emotionnal.I'm just done after watching this,it inspires me.
Legion? Tali? Seriously, both their deaths are awful, Tali's even more since she jumps of a fucking cliff after watching her race go practically extinct.
ah, the fall of earth, glad to see someone else agrees this is one of the most moving death scenes from ME3. it serves as a perfect opening, showing there's no hope from the very beginning and letting us understand even better Shepard's hesitation to leave as his homeworld is falling apart.
*Shepard jumps into beam for Synthesis ending* Catalyst: Did he just... your not supposed to jump into the beam... you... omni tool... I... fucking organics.
Justin Ladd Synthetic DNA merges with Organic DNA, Reapers notice that they aren't needed anymore and leave. My comment was just a joke about how Shepard jumped in even withouit being told to.
The reapers wanted to indoctrinate shepard not to just kill him"yes they tried but found out that he managed to get through most of their strongholds and forces" . he's a powerful leader and would add much more power to the reaper forces helping to get rid of the next cycles pretty much everything in this game points to the indoctrination theory
I just realised, mordin could have tried to run back to the elevator after he released the cure. he had plenty of time but decided to sing his signature song instead
It's the most logical option if Wrex and the female krogan have died. It's also a better option storywise in my opinion. EDIT: Sorry, I didn't notice these comments were 3 yrs old, whoops
God damnit...I just played for first time all 3 parts...I got soo much emotionaly attached to characters like they are my family...When i saw this...I cant play that end...It will ruin me... :'(
Of all Mass Effect 3 videos on RUclips this’s by far the best one , It contains the most emotional tragic scenes on ME3 for real in my opinion . Other RUclipsrs play as a stupid Shepard player and cause Shepards squadmates to die on purpose so they can name the video like this for example "Tali, Zaeed, Wrex or Kaiden death scene" !!! And the fact is a good Shepard player would never cause the death of those squadmates that i mentioned in ME3 "ONLY A STUPID ASS ONE" ! Thanks for the video .
Zoran Nedajboze That depends. If Grunt is loyal to you he survives. But if he isn't loyal, he will die. Always make sure they are loyal. I don't like to see my buddy Grunt perish. :(
The ending song is so sad, and to see all I've/we've lost while playing the game makes it that much harder to watch because we get attached to the characters in the story.
You know, looking back on it, the ending really isn't all as bad as we thought initially. It's actually quite profound. Think about it, Shepard is humanity's hero and at the beginning he escapes while he watches, whether real or not, a boy die and is overcome with extreme guilt. He is then forced to not fight for his planet but the safety and well-being of other species' homeworlds and gain their support to help his planet. Along the way, you witness countless sacrifices from your friends and allies and as the game progresses, you witness tragedies you couldn't imagine happening to Earth. Then, finally, in that last push, you kill Leng to avenge Thane (and maybe Miranda as well) and stop Cerberus but you still lose your mentor. While we all rose on that platform hoping we'd somehow still come out of it alive and reap the rewards of being the galaxy's savior, Shepard had to die. He was a symbol to the entire galaxy and say Shepard survives and lives a full life until old age is what finally kills the hero, then Shepard dies a legend, as "The Man Even the Reapers Couldn't Kill". However, taking power away from the player and saying we're going to die no matter what makes Shepard not only a hero but the model of what every being in the galaxy could strive for. He was "only human', a mortal and when the time came, he chose his own death and sacrificed himself for the entire galaxy. By making Shepard's death inevitable, you go out in a much grander fashion than anything else, Shepard truly received a hero's death by going out on his own terms to protect what he thought was important.
mordin is a thespian at heart and takes the cake in all his possible ends. his sacrifice, betraying him, and even convincing him to just walk away. all equally heavy to watch.
I would like to point out that one of the saddest moments for me is when you find the vid of the Krogan who died and you have to bring it to the Asari on the citadel, its sad because it was the poet Krogan and his Asari girlfriend who appear in all 3 games :(
The Fall of Earth hit me pretty hard, losing your planet, and everything that was dear to you, watching as people hopelessly attempted to fight back and escape, be so easily swept aside is scary as hell
Saddest deaths for me were definitely Mordin (while singing his song), Anderson because of where they were at the end of all things, and his last words to Shepard (Plus the song in the backround makes me shed man tears), and of course Legion (who had just learned what it meant to be alive and have a soul).
This game has it's unique way of touching the inner sanctum of our hearts and really connecting us to the characters in the game. As well as teaching us the true meaning of sacrifice.
All tough moments, but Anderson was the hardest hit for me, he was so close to surviving. I strongly recommend looking into his history ( The books are good), he is very much like Shepard, neither got to have the happy ending they deserved. However, I was impressed with the way the game differentiated loss from sacrifice. Also love that Garrus line, there for the whole journey
idk about everyone else but i think mass effect 3 had the best ending i have ever seen for a game....it was sad but it brought out the idea of hope and a future and its the first game i played where the main character's sacrafice actually made a difference. beautiful game, ten out of ten.
Tali Committing Suicide was by far the most tragic scene to me. I mistakenly came across the particular ending and once I say it I immediately restarted the entire mission so I could save tali. I was literately in tears.
I'm glad that you left out Tali's death. And I agree, It was very heart breaking. That's why whenever I watch lists like this and I see Tali's death on it I tend to skip that part of the video. I can't bear to watch it, I get choked up just thinking about it.
The invasion scene at the beginning was the most powerful few minutes I have ever encountered in a game. I felt dread when the Reapers descended onto Vancouver, helplessness when the little kid in the vent said "You can't help me" , fearfulness when Anderson decided to stay on Earth and I finally fucking snapped when the ship the little kid was on blew up. I cried so fucking hard. The moment I could save, I did and I had to turn off the game to collect my bearings. It's a damn good game...
There were two moments in the game when I came really close to tears. The first was when I thought I had killed Grunt by saving the Rachni (he survived) and the second was Mordins heroic sacrifice.
I think the saddest moment was when my shep was saying godbye to everyone, and it was all happy and everyone thought it was going to be chill, but i knew that i didnt have enough war assets for shepard living, and i knew i was going to choose the destroy ending, so it was like final goodbyes, but i was the only one who knew it.
Thane's death only made it to #4? In almost 20 years of playing games, I have never had a sadder moment in a video game than that scene where you bid your farewell at his deathbed. Oh, and I don't think Miranda ever died in my playthroughs, never seen that scene before.
I cried when Mordin sacrificed myself in my game, but my husband chose renegade because he'd already screwed up his character, and killed Mordin. I couldn't watch the rest of it and nearly sobbed. I've never cried over game characters before... this was so different. Interesting at how attached I've gotten to them all.
Captain Anderson broke my goddamn heart. "Feels like years since I just... Sat down..." And Liara's "gift" before the final push made me choke up pretty hard too.
"Not sure if Turian heaven is the same, but if we both end up there, meet at the bar." That's my man, I cried when he died near the end.
I hate that shepherd had to die, my character romanced garrus and the ending made it so I couldn't continue and garrus was left all alone, I hate it

3 did a good job saying goodbye to most of your crew, but i still find the ending to be terrible in so many ways. Plotwise, choice wise, etc
Looks like someone didn't work on doing everything they could for their crew in ME 2 and 3...
I like scene with Grunt, first time I thought he will die
@Berzerk Llama in 2
How could you not show the last part where they put up Shepard's plaque?! It nearly made me cry
yeah this was actually what made me cry, not his death itself
CheeseKing777 Talis goodbye killed me
What?... "NEARLY" made you cry ?...
You hearltess monster !
I cried a whole afternoon. Today actually...
The tears man... THE TEARS.... WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS THE PAIN AND SORROW!!!!! Why must everyone die!?! ;_;
Last Goodbye more tragic than Shepard sacrifice
Nice top, and very touching I almost cried when Thessia fell and when Thane dies. Damn you Kai Leng.
The control ending is more sad imo
I think the most tragic scene is when the reaper shoots down the shuttle with the kid in it, when you're leaving earth in the beginning of the game.
I still have nightmares. Palaven on fire. Turians screaming. Ships crashing into dust
Legion?
*Shepard jumps into beam for Synthesis ending*
Catalyst: Did he just... your not supposed to jump into the beam... you... omni tool... I... fucking organics.
what's suposed to happen to the reapers when he does that?
Justin Ladd
Synthetic DNA merges with Organic DNA, Reapers notice that they aren't needed anymore and leave. My comment was just a joke about how Shepard jumped in even withouit being told to.
Actually, they don't leave. They stay and help to rebuild everything.
bhhahahahahaahhaa!!!!!!
For me, the saddest scene is i you choose to kill Mordin (duh!)
So f*cking sad :,(
You killed Mordin?
It's the most logical option if Wrex and the female krogan have died. It's also a better option storywise in my opinion.
EDIT: Sorry, I didn't notice these comments were 3 yrs old, whoops
Flipped when grunt almost died for me
the ending is indeed the saddest thing in videogame history. butchering such a fantastic trilogy... artistic integrity my asshole.
I'm walk through this trilogy many times. But I'm still crying. I love this games so much.
this is why i love Mass Effect because of moments like these that get you into the story so much
God damnit...I just played for first time all 3 parts...I got soo much emotionaly attached to characters like they are my family...When i saw this...I cant play that end...It will ruin me... :'(
"I AM KROGAN"
"Had to be me. Someone else might have gotten it wrong." T.T
Others may hate the ending, but it got me sobbing and that was good enough
Of all Mass Effect 3 videos on RUclips this’s by far the best one , It contains the most emotional tragic scenes on ME3 for real in my opinion . Other RUclipsrs play as a stupid Shepard player and cause Shepards squadmates to die on purpose so they can name the video like this for example "Tali, Zaeed, Wrex or Kaiden death scene" !!! And the fact is a good Shepard player would never cause the death of those squadmates that i mentioned in ME3 "ONLY A STUPID ASS ONE" ! Thanks for the video .
1. Earth was NEVER fallen. Overrun yes, but they kept fighting.
2. HOW THE HELL IS MORDIN'S SACRIFICE IS NOT THE FIRST!?!?!??!
and marauder shields, never forget this sacrifice
MLG BIRULOCO More like we never forget the death of his meme because it never was funny.
12:36
the hell he think he's doing
When Mordin died, I had to pause the game for about half an hour to deal with it. I was absolutely floored by his death.
Well, now you did it. I'm a 28 year old man and I'm crying like a baby. Thanks.
At the end with Garris made me sad
#0 The Death of Marauder Shields.
Grunt didnt died so its not so tragic after all :)
Zoran Nedajboze That depends. If Grunt is loyal to you he survives.
But if he isn't loyal, he will die.
Always make sure they are loyal. I don't like to see my buddy Grunt perish. :(
XzorlachX
yeah :D
MY FACE IS SO FUCKING STUPID! so did your face
Slavic Power why did he do it!? I still had a fuck tonne of ammo!
The best game ever...nothing comes close to it
At least for lore and consequences
That's the problem... I feel empty inside now that I've just finished it.
It's like "Lord of the Ring", ruins competition for decades to come xp !
tali's death should be on this list
I hated Tali, but I agree that it was tragic how she went.
@@michaellee3123 ffffffffffffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
mordins death is even sadder if he is singing
mordin is a thespian at heart and takes the cake in all his possible ends. his sacrifice, betraying him, and even convincing him to just walk away. all equally heavy to watch.
I would like to point out that one of the saddest moments for me is when you find the vid of the Krogan who died and you have to bring it to the Asari on the citadel, its sad because it was the poet Krogan and his Asari girlfriend who appear in all 3 games :(
the ending was a tragedy alright. A goddamn shame.
Grunts death is easily avoidable
It sucks thane dies man
The Fall of Earth hit me pretty hard, losing your planet, and everything that was dear to you, watching as people hopelessly attempted to fight back and escape, be so easily swept aside is scary as hell
This deserves more thumbs-up.
In all 6 playthroughs of 3, not once have I lost Miranda. Didnt even know she could die till a friend told me about it.
“Did I have… a soul?” I literally couldn’t sleep that night
Tali Committing Suicide was by far the most tragic scene to me. I mistakenly came across the particular ending and once I say it I immediately restarted the entire mission so I could save tali. I was literately in tears.
the last conversation with Anderson was very epic and unforgetable.
The Fall of Thessia had hit me hard in the feels
Honestly all of these deaths really equally made me cry. There wasnt a single moment in this game that i didnt like, i loved it all
I'm glad that you left out Tali's death.
The end of this game made me cry... no more words to say
I cried like a little girl who hit her head, when Mordin and Shepard died. The only two I couldn't safe... It still gives me chills today 😭
There were two moments in the game when I came really close to tears. The first was when I thought I had killed Grunt by saving the Rachni (he survived) and the second was Mordins heroic sacrifice.
I'm pretty sure I cried like 7 or 8 times throughout the 48 hours I played this marvelous game.
