I have this one and Sony one . The reason I have the Sony one is I have Sony camera. I have the EF version that is because I can used it on Fuji GFX that is pretty much like shooting 82mm F1.1. Even on such a large sensor this one more or less holds up well against Fujifilm's own 110mm F2. It also does cover the Fujifilm medium format sensor completely.
Im about to make a video on that for canon. Sony is spoiled with 3rd party updated options lol. But you all don't have a native version of the 105 do yall
That is something I am not sure they will do one. I hope they do. A few years ago there was a rumor that Sony itself was going to make a 100mm F1.4 but that never come out. But if you have used 85 DG DN Art, this 105mm HSM F1.4 is still the best along with 40mm F1.4 that Sigma produced. 40mm F1.4 is probably Sigma nearest thing to optical perfection.
I have two of these beauties. One for my Sony and one for my Lumix. They absolutely rock

85mm is my favorite focal length until I started using the 105mm. Now I have this focal length on multiple camera systems that I own. Cheers!

I have this lens on sony. Its a beast but makes the most beautiful images ever
