Every build channel needs to follow suit with you on how you test stuff after changes. This changes angles and lengths and all sorts of things, so it is cool to see how they actually work.
Glad to see you are back at the video's regularly, keep 'em coming! The way you explain your thought process is understandable. More vid's please! Thanks.
Instead of making your arms shorter you could have gotten flush mount frame brackets from Barnes as well and welded them where ever you need them on the side of the frame. Then retained the same length arms and less work. That’s exactly what I did when I loved my stuff to flush mount and higher clearance.
Great video!!… I have a couple questions… before you start is it possible to measure the degree of the lower control arm before disassembling so when remounting would be in spec? Second question… if you start on axle side removing/attaching new bracket… it seems you wouldn’t have to cut the length of the arm, mount arm and bracket the locate on frame… 🤔 just sayin.. 🍻
Hey merus adventure park in claud tx is doing a girls wheeling event in May on the weekend of the 20th. My wife is going to be one of the trail leaders. But I thought that might make an awsome video for yall. Especially in cassie's jeep
@Jk Gear and Gadgets Do you have a full on real roll cage in your JKU? If not...with what that beast is capable of and how legit you actually wheel...it should be included in your build. Even with the brace kits out..the OEM stuff is tin foil.
Loving the videos brother! your content is always great. Do you happen to have the eye to eye measurement of the lower links after you shortened them? trying to figure out if I can go the same route. Thanks!
@JKGearandGadgets awesome! Thanks for the reply. I was looking at the aluminum artec links for my install and was worried that they won't adjust short enough after watching your video a couple times.
Any chance you can give a review on those green label tires after running them awhile. Want to know if they are worth the money or to try something else. Also want to know how the sidewalls hold up to hard wheeling
Nice upgrade! Where did you get the rear upper shock mount relocation bracket from? I watched the video at some point, but forgot the company. Was it Synergy? Found it. Barnes 4wd.
Outta Hand has the frame side listed but not the Axle side. . what axle mount did you use??? I'm probably just making a combination of parts on my bare axle instead of cutting up a bracket.
Nice clearance upgrade. I do have a question... you have a lift and pull into it but why don't you use it? I also have a hight issue with my lift(10' ceiling), which is still better than laying on the floor with all those sparks
@JKGearandGadgets appreciate the feedback! Was hoping to somewhat avoid that, as I'm trying to run a GenRight fuel tank without their full kit. Love the channel, I learn new stuff each video.
Have to support the axle if we are hanging the jeep in the air since we are removing the control arm. Easier to have the axle in position at ride height and adjust it around on the ground by myself vs worrying about axle stands and jacks to hold it in spot
Respectfully, You've got a JK Rock buggy on TONs... Great for you, not for normal applicants. Good content But come on, ALL THESE "OFF-ROAD" RUclipsRS, ARE THE SAME AS "405 STREET OUTLAWS CREW"
I’ve built this jeep to this level by recording every step of the way and making videos so people can learn and follow along. This video and job applies to the same as any lifted jeep whether it has tons, Dana 44, Hemi, 3.8, blah blah blah. You missed the point of the video, and tried to turn it into a diss on me??? lol ok Chris.
I 3 linked my JK and ARB locked/geared my own junkyard tons watching Ben's videos. I got custom aluminum links (2.5") and different joints. I drive it to work 25 miles each direction every day. Drove it to TN 500 miles not long after breaking it in. Wheeled windrock for 3 days after. Drove it home another 500 miles. It's just a capable 4dr trail rig that I would take anywhere.
WooHoo. Sunday morning cartoons for off-road adults.
@Gary Williams LMMFAO... Perfect description 👌

Glad to see you picking the camera back up!

You should make a video going into suspension geometry, calculations, anti squat, etc!!!
I second this! @jkgearandgadgets you would be able to explain everything so everyone could understand.
This is the correct way to build a suspension. You da man
Jeep sounds awesome Ben!
Nice work. The croc spark catchers are not ideal work boots🤣
Can't wait for the new JK build
Would love to see a video on how you reversed the mounting position of the Falcon Piggy Backs on the rear axle.
It’s like 2 videos back. Just they just flip and swap the bushings
@@JKGearandGadgets found it. thanks a ton!
Nice to see some more videos from you again
Love to see a red MJ on the channel.
Can’t find one that’s not clapped out or way overpriced!

Angle guage
2dr jk nice. I got one myself. Rear stretch and some 37’s their capable as can be after that
Awesome! 🤙
You need a crocks sponsorship bro! 🤣
Great video, plan to come back to windrock someday?

Like see you do motobilt tank relocation.

I will try to get a measurement for ya here later today!

yeah man of course. So far they are amazing Grip great in the rocks and even when its wet. Have 4 wheeling trips on them and over 3K road miles
Nice upgrade! Where did you get the rear upper shock mount relocation bracket from? I watched the video at some point, but forgot the company. Was it Synergy? Found it. Barnes 4wd.
So where do you weld the upper arm frame side mounts after you chop old mount off? Didn’t see where that goes.
The upper arm is still there from my previous Barnes4wd 3 link install i did years ago. ruclips.net/video/drlltAGU1dw/видео.htmlsi=KBSBwLti6tniKwcZ
Such a great vid, well explained.
Always look forward to your vids..👍🇦🇺
Great job man! as always good information.
Outta Hand has the frame side listed but not the Axle side. . what axle mount did you use??? I'm probably just making a combination of parts on my bare axle instead of cutting up a bracket.
You’ll have to call them for that one!
Nice clearance upgrade. I do have a question... you have a lift and pull into it but why don't you use it? I also have a hight issue with my lift(10' ceiling), which is still better than laying on the floor with all those sparks
Didn’t want to deal with the axle shifting around on the lift after removing one of the control arms.
Great video, where can i get the lower control flush mount bracket?
Outta hand fab. You might have to call or email them as I’m not sure if they are on the website yet
Nice. Did you reinforce the body mounts you trimmed?
Hello Ben had afew questions for a jk 5.7 swap
Great video! What fenders are you running? Jeep looks great! 😊
They are MCE. New build I’m trying out the KBD flares
I am missing what you did with the UCA brackets other than cut them off.
Upper was still the old 3 link from videos way past
@@JKGearandGadgets Oh!! Yeah I remember that video, Thanks! How is the steering with the heims? does it chunk on the small bumps going down the road?
Y’all coming to the 4x4 jamboree in St. George utah
What TJ brake lines? Extended. Those JK lines with that 90 are horrible.
I used the Clayton lifted tj brake lines
Do you still have the Gladiator just wondering
Yep!
I've been trying to find those axle brackets and can't seem to find them anywhere
Give outtahand fab a call. Or shoot them a message
Hey Ben, could you post a link to that lower control arm bracket
They don’t have it on their website. Have to email them or call for it, hopefully it’ll be listed soon
How do you like that Badland jack??
Time for a 14 bolt shave now too
Well, do you like those tires or would you go back to the X-MT if you could change for free?
These are hooking really well, but then again they are the sticky version
Why can't you just reverse the rear calipers right to left and convert your 14 bolt?
by doing that, wouldnt that put 1 bleeder screw on the bottom of the caliper?
Amazing
Stuck out like a thumb, now hardly noticeable Good job... 🙂
Another place offering nothing for the 2djl:(
Is it possible to do this with a stock Dana 44?
You would need a truss or a 3 link realistically.
@JKGearandGadgets appreciate the feedback! Was hoping to somewhat avoid that, as I'm trying to run a GenRight fuel tank without their full kit. Love the channel, I learn new stuff each video.
Howe many "man hours" was this project?
Probably about 7
Sweet
What are you doing with the car, is it legally allowed, in terms of the laws of the country or state?
Yeah
What engine do you have in your Jk?
6.4 Hemi with 8 speed. Did a diy video series on it a while ago
why not use the lift ?
