- This is another rare show from Living Sacrifice.
Recorded on December 31, 1995 at 'Ground Zero'
in Benton, Arkansas a few months after D.J. left
the band. By this time, the band only had a few
new songs written so the set list consisted
mostly of songs from the "D.J. Era". The coolest
part of this video is seeing Bruce sing all the old
L.S. songs from the first 3 Living Sacrifice albums.

I cant believe this. "Breathing Murder" about 16:30 for those interested. ALWAYS wanted to hear this Bruce live. I saw them in 94 and they sliced the stage in half it was so brutal. Yep Im happy.
This may be the most valuable find for me. Been a fan since nonexistant and have always loved transition stages with bands. I love seeing what happens to make established bands succesfully go through growing pains.

This is what it was all about man. Jamming out every Friday or Saturday night at my favorite local Christian venue, hearing my favorite bands and their “mini sermons” between songs, getting whataburger afterwards,.. I miss it so much!
THIS IS PURE GOLD!!!! Nice hearing Bruce singing classic DJ songs. He does a fantastic job playing and singing. I always thought part of the reason for the change in sound to Reborn was bc he couldn't sing and play the order more technical songs at the same time. Nonexistent and Inhabit have a special place in my heart. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would ever hear Bruce sing Not Beneath
Two things: 1-Love the evangelism. 2-That is the first time I’ve ever heard Bruce say “this next song is called Reborn” and no one cheered. This is like the first dang time anyone would have heard this song. How cool to have been there and have the show end with Reborn!
It is okay to use coarse language.

@@andrewvincent4908 Thanks for the permission 😂 I use the words I use because I like the words I use, not because I think I’m not allowed to use other words. “Dang” is under-appreciated and goofy and that suits me.
I really wish Living Sacrifice will go back on tour.

I think it’s so cool that back in the day when Darren was their front man and the early days of Bruce being their frontman that they would take time to pray during the middle of their sets. I’m gonna make sure either me or one of my band members in Living Cadavers prays in the middle of our set list to make sure our hearts are still right with God.
Seven Living Sacrifice songs I’m dying to cover with Living Cadavers are Violence, Second Death the entire song, To Nothing, Inhabit, In Christ, Reborn Empowered and Bloodwork.
I noticed that Darren Johnson started another band a while back I forgot the name of it though.
