As an observer and student of art, for 50 some years, I find this work among the most impressive I've seen, I can't say I'm a fan of the new modern expressive movements, I gravitate towards art that communicates and shows painstaking efforts. I wish you the best and ty for your commitment towards excellence. You should be appreciated, your a rare breed.!

Constantly in awe of your skill. Do you compose the elements in photoshop and project them to trace on the paper at full size? Curious about that process.
I love how personal and vulnerable your artwork is. Putting your own nude body in the image, especially posing for with your assistants there is very vulnerable.
Totally worth all the effort when you end up with the quality of image you always create.

It's great to see even an artist as talented as you are still using references. I always get frustrated because I can't draw from my memory, but it's clear that you need references. Thank you for the video.

12B is as dark as 14B Pitt Matt Graphite but has even less shine. I use 12B instead of 14B for that reason. I also use LYRA kneadable, because it can do more than any other I've tried, because it's firmer(harder) than others,so it holds finer shapes for either erasing or adding highlights! Faber Castell 9000, Pitt Matt and their 9071 2mm leads, are the best graphite for drawing. 187120, is also the best pencil eraser! Only Tombow Mono Plastic and Dust Catch, is as good! ( Sumo Grip and Kokuyo, also make good erasers, very close to the ones I mentioned, however, they are more difficult to find out of Japan). Finaly, for details, I use Pente Graphgear 500 0.5mm, loaded with Ain Stein HB and a 2nd one loaded with 2B.

@@niodium7195 There’s a series called Pitt Matt with a different material composition, they are less shiny and go up to 14B

I wonder what amount of money it would take to convince you to share your techniques 🤔
    Example:
How to create rich non reflective black.
    What graphite powder and when.
How and when to use and erase charcoal.
How to create deliberate studies. Small, big, how to know if the study piece is developed enough.
How to draw tiny things sharp.
How to keep super large proportions though the paper lies horizontally on the table while lookin at it from an angle.
Pencilpressure, indenting, erasing and negative spaces, when what and in which best sequence?
