Man the visuals in the UI look stunning! Might be the quality of your recording, but everything looks SO crips. Also love the new visualisation when stopping + the text description. Tesla FSD in on another level. Cant wait for this to come to europe (in a few years lol).
your camera is so clear felt i was in the car and stepping on the accelerator constantly! to slow for me then that car passed you on the right 1 anxiety
The reason why you are not seeing the voice note when you take over is because you are too close to the way point and when you are in that situation it thinks that you are parking
Thanks! Also, I realized that you have to brake to get the voice note. As soon as I turned off the camera and headed home, I got the voice notes pretty much every time. I stopped using the brake pedal to avoid being dinged on Tesla Insurance :)
@@FrenchieFSD Actually, I did see it pop up with the stock on another video. I really think that it's something to do with getting close to your destination.
@@FrenchieFSD I'm telling you, It worked when you were going home because your destination was far away and was it like point 2. miles like you do on your text course. Because it thinks that you are parking when you are that close to your destination
I think most of the slow proceedings are just to avoid driving too fast if there's a large vehicle behind which a pedestrian can pop out. Example would be at 8:23, where it clearly accelerated as soon as the area behind the truck comes into view.
Thank you for testing! I think you dont get voice report option because you are too close to the destination so tesla thinks you are disengaging to park.
3:10 correction ... the relavent traffic lights have the blue overlays (ie. if you were in a turning lane it would highlight blue the stoplights for your turning lane)
I’m actually curious to see V11.3.1 in stop & go traffic on the highway. With the old autopilot stack, it’s not very smooth as it accelerates way too hard each time traffic moves like 30ft and then it has to brake harder. Hoping single stack fixes that behavior.
12:30 I would really love to see this stopping distance shortened. Is anyone able to confirm that the different profiles would do that? In city driving, this large of a gap between cars is enough for anyone who's trying to cheat into a line to turn in. Somewhere between 4-6 feet of follow distance at lights and turning lines would be ideal for city driving. This gap of 20-25 feet is massive. I've said this in other FSD beta videos. Other city drivers who grew up driving in dense cities know this. The greatest risk of an accident, frustration and road rage is indecision, hesitation and unpredictability. I don't know if Frenchie is only testing with the Average profile but I would love to see more Assertive profile testing in city driving.
I think cars always went ahead of you on stop signs because of the new "full stop at stop signs" mandate. This will be a little weird because legally we're required to do a full stop. But in real life, people stop, and then see you pause, and they'll just go ahead of you. I wonder how this will be solved.
Awesome creative use of the camera preview! If only I was brave enough to wire up mine to screen record the display :) In the short time you've had it, any instances where beta avoided potholes? I've read others have seen this behavior.
Highway FSD is not single stack, it’s dual stack. There’s still the parking lot stack for summon and other parking lot features and handling that aren’t real clear. Hopefully TRUE single stack soon. 11.4 maybe?
Thanks Kevin. As discussed previously, can you please not point out all the crap I constantly say and pretend that in another dimension, I could be right? :))
If I pick a destination far out, it just takes one of the major streets and drive straight. The idea was shorter routes = more turns but it's annoying :)
Always look forward to your drives, thanks Frenchie!
That route was madness (which is usual for you). I thought it did very well. Keep up the good work.

That was an excellent drive. Definitely improving. Thanks Frenchie
Great drive. Thanks.
Welcome back! Been so long!
Thanks! Didn't feel like making a video for small versions.
been waiting for your update... thanks for posting.
As always you have the best camera angle keep up the great work thank you
How great to see you! Thank you! :D

@@mthuhn Yes! Confirmed again today ont he drive. Sorry one my next video, I'll be asking why the voice note didn't come. Please ignore! :)
That was greatly messy, loved it
The fact that you didn’t show the freeway drive much is a testament to it working - boring is good for FSD!
Honestly, it was. Happy to do another freeway video if people want that but really, it's boring. Good job Tesla!
Fun drive, thanks for sharing Frenchie! :)
Some of those interventions were definitely because of the waypoint issue ;)

Why are these videos never shared on Reddit, television or the media when they are discussing FSD? It’s always hearsay about how terrible fsd is
Just think about all the established businesses that will be disrupted with this technology.
That’s why it’s such a great investment window when the majority are kept in darkness by msm.

Ah good point!
❤❤❤ 👍
Love you man!
Why did you disengage at 06:05? Doesn't the parallel road lead you to the same spot eventually?
It does and I guess it's a preference. Usually people use the parallel road to park not to go through but technically you can use that.

They can add Chicago stop feature to have shorter stop in big cities to make the cars more human like asshole 😂
@@grantguy8933 They cant now. Regulation makes them do stops like that. There is no way around it until regulation changes
man those homeless people have been there for a year
Yes, so sad :(
Excellent! One thing, your nav points are too short, almost like confusing FSD.
thanks interesting

Isn't Chicago huge? Why are your routes so short? Short routes really don't make a lot of scenarios.
