Impressionism = poor excuse by people who can not paint or are too lazy to paint properly. All the intelecual babble in the world can't stop that pear painting look like utter trash.
@@RPSJaguarSkills What's a terrible take?I don't care about engagement. I have no desire to reduce your views if that's what you need to stay alive then good on you. But let's just focus on the art shall we? Were you not embarrassed to upload that simply horrendous pear pic and dare to call it impressionism while trying to distract your audience with pretentious psychobabble?
Digital photography vs the chemical process of film photography with hand processed film. Sculpture vs 3D digital sculpting like Blender. No one would say they are the same thing... No one would conflate the one vs the other. This digital painting process is a beautiful but different medium than physical paint. Yes they are different, and that makes it all the more fun for us artists who get to choose what tool we would like to use. I paint in every medium traditional and digital, and I have done so for many decades. The coexisting of these mediums makes me better at both. And I love both. Interestingly, most people never experience the great Masters artworks as a physical experience. Most people experience the great paintings of the past on their phone or computer screen. Most of us experience these things in a virtualized manner. The digitization of our experience, both as a creator and as an audience are important questions to dissect. I clearly have a different perspective than you do, but I'm happy to hear your thoughts. Best wishes
This is so far beyond Procreate and Photoshop I am just stunned.
Rebelle is beautiful ... if only it ran, as in let us draw, on an iPad with apple Pencil ... someday ?
Thanks!!

painting without paint is not painting , and impressionistic painting is about fysical paint and fysical brushwork .. this is rubbish
