Let me know what your Christmas style/theme is this year. I love traditional Christmas colors & can't get away from the reds, greens and natural colors. But, I do make a lot of diys for friends and would love to hear suggestions of what you would like to see this year❤
Just wanted to say while I understand why you were away, I am so glad that you were back to making videos. You were missed a lot. I love the reindeer, I love all the DIYs but the reindeer was my favorite.
I am a minimal decorator. This year it feels like I will be bottlebrush trees, Woodhouse shapes, snowflakes and candy canes. I live in an apartment with no outside space to decorate. I think I’m going to convince my friend that she needs a solar light lantern or a solar light pool noodle North Pole because those look easy and fun and she has the space for them. 🤓
Girl you knocked it out of the freakin' stratosphere with this one! The lamps are probably THE single most genius Christmas DIY I've seen in YEARS! I'm making every one of these, and I'm straight up acting like I thought them all up to everybody that asks!! 😂😂😂
So, still watching...It's sickening how SIMPLE she makes these BREATH-TAKING creations look!!!!!!!!!!! MEGAN, YOU'RE MY DIY DECOR DIAMOND!!! SPARKLE ON!!!
This is the greatest Christmas DIY video I’ve seen in awhile! Last year and this year so far!! I might make every single project you created in this one!! Thank you!!
I love the yard light. It’s great to know that the broom handles fit the solar lights. I’ve mowed over my lights numerous times and now I can elevate them and it looks awesome! Thanks…some wonderful ideas.
I love how down to earth you are! Appealing to the every day woman who has little time to decorate in a fabulous way! No fuss, inexpensive, DIY projects. And you show us how to do it in no time at all. I live in Florida, and all of your ideas are just perfect!
Beautiful diys!! I can't decide on a favorite project because they are all so pretty!! I love them all😊. I usually decorate with the traditional red and green Christmas colors, but I am going to change it up this year using Winter Wonderland Theme. The colors I will be using are Silver, different Blues, and White. I think that it will be really pretty. Like you, I live in Texas and hardly ever get cold winters😞! Thank you for all of your inspiration.
Girl I am so happy to see you here!! Love love love everything!! I never do the same tree twice!! I know it sounds crazy but I diy things and repurpose and reuse. lol. This year is emerald green and gold!! Hope it turns out like the vision. I am doing a couple of the hula hoop ornaments for my windows on the front of my house. Thank you so much for sharing. Love ya lady!!
I watch a lot of Christmas DIY's, I keep them running on my TV as I do other things around the house. When I play yours though I find myself gravitating towards the TV to sit and watch. Your items always look store bought rather than something you did to keep the kids busy. Everything is so expensive these days but I love Christmas and decorating. This year I have decided to try and add some things to my large yard. Love this set! I bought new LED house lights to replace my old energy hogs I've been using for 30 or more years (all blue). Next project will be the yard. Thanks for your great ideas. 😊
I don’t change up my theme from year to year. I do red, green, silver, crystal. I do edit my decor from year to year, donating some old whenever I find something new. But I find the familiar comforting at that time of year. Loved all of these DIYs. I own that glitter infested reindeer and now I know what to do with it!
Your ideas are awesome! I loved every one of these! I like your sense of humor too! These all look high end, and I hope to be making some, if not all, of them! Thank you so much for sharing these amazing crafts!
Megan I love your fantastic ideas! I always decorate with traditional Christmas red, green and gold. (However I do have a whimsical tree with crazy colors-created for the grandkids!). So glad you are back --no kidding I love your delivery, energy and enthusiasm for decorating with Dollar Tree items - and assuring, “that they don’t look cheap!” Keep up the great crafting!!! 🎄👍❤️
Dang girl! You hit it out of the park with this video. Absolutely LOVE every single one!! Thanks to you, I can afford to decorate outside my house this year.😁
Love the stocking. I've used them before stuffed for decoration but never thought of the floral picks, brilliant. This year Im making 2 swags for my arbor with a lite garland in between. And in the planters by the street, I stick in branches that I've painted white, adding snowy glitter, red berries and greenery at base with a bow.
Girl you are back with a vengeance!!! These are absolutely gorgeous. I can't wait to go to DT tomorrow to pick up the supplies to try & recreate each one of these. You really have blown me away with how simple yet elegant each one of these beautiful creations turned out. So happy to see your videos again. Hugs from Oregon 😊.
I love taking 4 metal cookie sheet and wire them together to make a box. Then I hit glue the shelf liners to the box and add a string of lights inside the box. You can add a bow or berries to it. Also you can make several boxes and stack them together for a snow man. Looks awesome on your porch.
I'm honestly not sure you've done anything I didn't like. I always get excited when I see you've posted a new video. The past couple years I've done a cozy cabin Christmas and plan to do it again this year as I really like it. Lots of greens, woods, whites, and plaids with pops of red.
I used to “gift wrap” every door in my house, bows on both sides if it was a 2 sided door. I moved, all the ribbon was tossed. I like the idea of using the table cloth.
I try to do a different theme in each room. The new one I'm adding this year is a winter wonderland theme in my dining room. I think pale blue, white, and silver with lots of snowmen, snowflakes, and icicles will work well with the red wall color.
I love ❤️ hearing your voice and seeing your new amazing diys! You always make tutorials that the average crafter can re-create and they always look classic and never tacky! It's a gift and I'm so glad you're continuing to share them on RUclips.
Best, easy and inexpensive. Thanks! I'm downsizing, using what I have by order of my son. Red, gold and green this yr. Unrolled foil ribbon from Goodwill, maybe 30 yrs. old. It is holding on the top of a chain link fence. Twisted small red ribbons to the lower part of the fence and looped green beads below the foil ribbon. Made a crisscross tree using a trellis and lighted garland $1. Goodwill, never used. Topped with red and gold bows. Priced these items at shocking 2023 prices. Did not spend a dime this inflationary year. Use what you've got is our family challenge.
Love the new video. As usual, fantastic ideas. I love the traditional colors of reds and greens as well. I also have a thing for snowflakes and I’m always looking for new ways to showcase my collection. I love mixing rustic and nature with vintage, traditional and a splash of sparkle. Part of the fun is using my Christmas collection reimangined each year. I’m so happy to see your videos again. You are one of my favorite creators on RUclips. 😊
So much love to you, my friend. And I saw you were checking in on me in the comments while I stepped away from RUclips. That was so kind of you! I'm sorry I didn't see your previous comments asking where I had been sooner. Much love & early Merry Christmas to you, my friend ❤️ -Megan
So glad I ran across this. I am a very traditional person as well. I'm just not artistic. You've made this very simple to follow without a lot of dialogue👍🏼
I LOVE EVERY SINGLE THING YOU MADE! I tend to be really critical when I watch DIY videos because it’s looks cute but then they add something to it… anything from the type of floral picks they chose to the color choices, etc…like, I’m wanting to start making them now 😂❤❤
Oh gosh, that broomstick lantern is adorable! And looks so easy, too. I usually like softer, darker, more worn-looking reds (not all the way to burgundy, just darker red) for Christmas, with brass and traditional greenery.
I love, love these ideas! Especially the wreath, the solar light and the reindeer! We are in the middle of selling our house right now and unfortunately I have to keep my decorating to a minimum but I love getting the ideas for the future! Thank you :)
absolutely amazing! as a fellow Texan i am constantly looking for cheap and easy ways to decorate my front porch while still having to worry about the humidity, heat and rain! it can be so overwhelming. thank you for so many great ideas! i can't wait to start!!!
My 6 year old daughter and I made this little tree for her bedroom. I had a bunch of faux pine garland that we added to the $5 tree. We “flocked” it also. It’s sitting on top of a wrapped box that looks like a big gift with white felt as fake snow hiding the stand. We don’t have a train set so we placed her hot wheels cars/ trucks around the tree as if they’re a train. She’s a creative kid! It looks great!
Perfect distraction from this crazy world. We're waiting to hear from friends and family in Maine. Asking y'all to please pray for them. Thank you in advance. God Bless.
@DaMomDatCookz1 some low life that's on the run killed 22 people and injured a lot of people. My hubby has a lot of friends and family who live in the area that was targeted last night.
Thank you Megan as always ! Fun , smart , easy and most importantly classy ! The solar lamp/broomstick and the Christmas stockings are my favorite ( Iam going to make that ) If you get a chance , would love to see something on ‘glam theme’ Christmas tree( not sure if I can pull that one) but hey ! If you style it , the tree will turn out classy for sure 🎉
Megan these are amazing diys!!! Will definitely be making the swag and hula hoop!!! The stocking is beautiful, too. I made one similar to that but instead of a stocking I used a Christmas oven mitt and hang it in my kitchen. Always get excited when I see you post a video!! YOUR AMAZING!!!😊
I love all of the ideas (as usual) I think I am going to wrap my front door like a present this year. I am having to be more minimal this year as I babysit my two year old grandson at my home. So I think I will use a lot of snowflakes and sparkly stuff for him to enjoy. I remember the year my father passed away it was only a couple months until Christmas. I wasn't in such a festive mood and all I could do was to place large snowflakes (that I made from some giant dried weeds - I spray painted white) on my tree before I started crying. That year we had lights and snowflakes on the tree. It was rustic but still very beautiful and saved me from having to put all the ornaments away after Christmas.
@KandyKoatedKrafts I get why you'd say that but there's a story behind it😅 I'm always busy when she post a video so this time I was just excited that I could watch it right when I got the notification that's all. It's all love🫶🏼
Really nice ideas. I am into Scandinavian natural Xmas decor. Mother Nature just gave us a huge wind storm. I picked up huge broken evergreen tree branches off the side of the road. Plan to use the barer branches to hang horizontally. Got huge snowflakes from Walmart. Will add huge seashells, snow berry branches and lichen branches, tied with paper covered wire and hang strands of little white lights. Love mixing natural elements together. Know where to harvest reindeer moss and acorns. Might make velvet mushrooms and add sparkles. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy holidays.
I really liked each of your ideas in this video. I especially liked the $5 tree hanging upside down on light fixture with bow and pine cones, it’s beautiful!!👏👏Thanks for sharing!!🤗😀
I do so many diy for myself and my adult children, I’ve done many of the same things you have done, I do often buy expensive ribbon, you made me rethink the cheaper ribbon because I saw how good you made it look, I love watching your ideas come together.
I adore all your videos! Much of what you show proves that I don't need a degree in design to make fabulous decor! For the past few years, I've done rustic or "cabin-like" Christmas decor and we ALWAYS get compliments!
WE (my sisters and I) thought your DIYs are GREAT... we did them all. ALL. thank you thank you... Our front yard turned out beautiful and all for under $30 thanks to your ideas and Dollar Tree prices.
This year I am using gold, black and white with my flocked tree. I am using reindeer, snowflakes and stars as my main decor. Thank you for the reindeer idea. ❤
That first one would look great indoors on a blank wall space as well! And you could ever string $5 string lights around the outside of it on the backside to give it a cozy Christmas feeling indoors!!
Holy wow, these are brilliant! They look so chic as well, which can sometimes be atypical on these vids! Every project is fab! Thanks for sharing these! I’m a traditionalist at heart, so these are PERFECT!
We are decorating with my daughter’s snow globe collection. We are building a wood platform tree to place the snow globes on. I love the great ideas in this video!
@GlueGunsRoses I just wanted to tell you that I missed you and I'm sure SO many others have missed your diy videos and your adorable giggle. Your so creative and your projects are not hard to do. I will be 60 in Dec and am in bad health, brain disease, ect. so I try and craft as much as possible to keep my mind busy. Your videos are SOOOOO good and affordable. Thank you!
I watch WAY too many Christmas craft videos and seldom ever do any of the crafts, however, I loved ALL of these!! I may do every one of them! I was particularly blown away with the adorable solar lamp post! So clever! Thanks so much!!
I tend to lean more traditional with lots of wooden pieces, and i like to add BLING! Nothing better than twinkling lights with the shimmer of glitter. I also like to throw something different into the mix like a splash of pink or blue. Great video, keep 'em coming.
My style for Christmas decor has really toned down over the yrs. It's now very nature inspired with reminders of the "reason for the season" everywhere. Jesus Christ was born, was the ultimate gift from the Father, and we celebrate that. Hallelujah!!
I'm also loving your first ornament! I used three "kids" bouncing balls with a handle to hold on while bouncing. Used shiny metallic silver tape to cover the handle, creating the ornament hanger. I think I'll add at least a bow, maybe greens if i have enough time. I LOVE the ornament wreath with the merry Christmas 🎄🌰🌌🎁in it! I think i'll wrap three boxes, stacked, large to small, all wrapped in a ribbon, topped with a bow!
I decorate for my small grandchildren so for now, my decorating style includes gingerbread men and Santa. I loved your ideas and will try to sneak a few of your projects in!
My theme this year is "Happy Hegge Holidays". I'm using lots of white fuzzy decorations (some made with DT towels from their automotive section), and natural wood decor - more of a winter theme. I'm a Virginia girl living in CA, so I like to pretend it's actually winter here. We have a neighborhood holiday party every year, and our neighborhood is very diverse. I think this theme will please everyone. Thank you for sharing all of your fabulous ideas! And don't worry, I'm sneaking in a lot of red and green.
I think it would be aweosme to give some of the diy to those in nursing homes! That would brighten their days!!!!! You did a great job! My mom and I do a lot of diy and we love it! My mom took some of the pumkin place mats that are material from dollar tree and made her a valance for her kitchen and placemats on the table to match! She did a wonderful job! It’s Jesus’s birthday and I love decorating for His birthday
I would love to do that. I make a lot of DIYs that I give away, but I still have more DIYs and decor I don't use. Who/what title should I search for on the nursing homes website? Or should I call? Forgive me, I had no clue this was an option.
This is one of the GREATEST DIY CRAFTS I HAVE SEEN!! THANK U FOR SHARING WITH US!! TRULY HELPS WITH NOT NEEDING ALOT OF MONEY TO BE SPENT ON DECORATING!!!
This is probably the best dollar tree hack video ever! Everything looked high end and on a dirt cheap budget. I’m so impressed! Thank you for the fantastic ideas!
I love your Christmas DIY's! They look so high end, but they're so simple and inexpensive! Very much like you, I like to decorate very traditionally with the reds, greens, and golds so your ideas and projects really resonate with me. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us!
Oh my goodness, these are GORGEOUS and look easy to make! I can hardly wait to get started!!! I know your neighbors love getting all the beautiful things you make!!!
I love light blues with silver and sparkly white. I’m originally from Houston so you know snow is rare. These colors make me think of snow. I’m in So Cal now and don’t normally get snow here with but I can drive to the mountains less than 3 hours away and get plenty of snow.
Love your podcast name! I prefer jewel tones for the holidays. I really don't have a theme, unless you call 'This is our life' a theme. Our family has been collecting ornaments since we first got married - 40 years ago. We've made them, received them as gifts and swaps, bought them for special occasions. But generally it's deep red, pine green, and ivory. And either woodland Christmas or Nutcracker, which actually works well together. I love the little $1.25 trees. Every year, I knit a mini sock during Advent season. And after they are made, I put them on my mini tree. The grandsons love coming to my house to see what new socks are on the tree. Oh, and there is a knitted star on top.
I normally do a vintage traditional Christmas. But my husband’s aunt gave me a pure white Christmas tree so I’m going to attempt so do a candy cane tree this year
I am the real MVP, always and forever! Began watching last year, your content gave me the inspirations to produce holiday decor for Hospice Nurses in Dallas, Texas. You are truly making the world a more beautiful place!
I haven't watched a crafting video in over a year, or gone to dollar tree, except for Halloween. I am so glad that this is the one I some how chose to click on. Absolutely beautiful ideas, great video. I loved every single one.
I bought 2 of the 4ft trees and wanted to put them outside and I couldn’t figure out how they would stand up! I’m mind blown every diy is sooo good and I think I’m going to try all of them! 😂 thank you
I love the traditional colors too, but in my kitchen and front entryway I’m going to do gingerbread and candy canes and all the red and white❤🤍 I love all these ideas, but especially the hula hoop ornament and the 4ft tree!
Let me know what your Christmas style/theme is this year. I love traditional Christmas colors & can't get away from the reds, greens and natural colors. But, I do make a lot of diys for friends and would love to hear suggestions of what you would like to see this year❤
Winter wonderland. Um with cryptids like yetis because I'm bonkers.
Red, gold, silver, and a touch of red and black buffalo check.
I usually do one of two options. Gold and red or silver and blue. Adding other touches and colors when I want something to pop 😊
Just wanted to say while I understand why you were away, I am so glad that you were back to making videos. You were missed a lot. I love the reindeer, I love all the DIYs but the reindeer was my favorite.

Megan it's always refreshing to see your videos. I'm blown away that a 5.00 tree flipped upside down can be so stunning. Love them all. ❤
Girl, I’ve seen hundreds of holiday DIY dollar tree videos. This one is hands down the best. Easy to follow, quick, and so beautiful! Great job!
You are so talented I love watching your videos ❤
This is the greatest Christmas DIY video I’ve seen in awhile! Last year and this year so far!! I might make every single project you created in this one!! Thank you!!
I know right they’re very easy and not so time consuming!
I agree ❤
I totally agree 👍
What she said!!:🎄❤🎄❤🎄
Same 😊
I’m impressed. Those are very good ideas that don’t look cheap.
I'm totally going to try the hula hoop ornament! It's going to look great on my white fence!
Gurl!!! Goodness! I love everyone!
The solar lamp on the broomstick handle honestly gave me goosebumps! I'M MAKING IT TOMORROW! Awesome DIYs, Megan!!!
❤💚
Same!!! LOVEEEE it!
DITTO! Cuz I dont even own a hot glue gun 🤣
I want to know where she go they lanterns from

Hi! What great ideas! I loved them all !!❤❤🙏🙏✌️
All of my life I’ve enjoyed the traditional red, gold and greens 😊 I just don’t think it gets better than that😉 your DIYS are terrific!

My CHRISTmas decor is always nativity based. These cute ideas can easily be incorporated with little tweaks. I love your ideas!
Megan you are the queen of DT & DG Christmas DIY’s!!!
🎄🎅🏼🤶🎄 Love them all…I’m a traditional red & green gal too. 🤗
I love taking 4 metal cookie sheet and wire them together to make a box. Then I hit glue the shelf liners to the box and add a string of lights inside the box. You can add a bow or berries to it. Also you can make several boxes and stack them together for a snow man. Looks awesome on your porch.

I do so many diy for myself and my adult children, I’ve done many of the same things you have done, I do often buy expensive ribbon, you made me rethink the cheaper ribbon because I saw how good you made it look, I love watching your ideas come together.
I absolutely LOVED everything you did here! And it is SO good to see and hear you again! Much love Megan!
I love the classic feel of all of these creations. Christmas botanicals are my favorite!
That redr ribbon door idea at end will definately ‘pop’ on my green door this Christmas, great video, Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
I adore all your videos! Much of what you show proves that I don't need a degree in design to make fabulous decor!
For the past few years, I've done rustic or "cabin-like" Christmas decor and we ALWAYS get compliments!
You make the best holiday crafts, hands down. I so badly wish you were on RUclips more often posting new videos.
My Christmas is very traditional and eclectic. And I love it!!
My favorite diy Xmas decorations! Very classy!
Living room and kitchen is peppermint and gingerbread people. Dining room is peacock colors. Love all your ideas. Thank you
That first one would look great indoors on a blank wall space as well!
What a joy this video is. You have so many great ideas. .Your neighbors are blessed to have someone like you so willing to share your projects .
😮Oh my gosh, I'm running to the dollar tree tomorrow. I MUST CREATE THOSE LANTERNS!!!!! ❤😍❤THANK YOU!❤
I rarely like DIY videos using Dollar Tree items, but I really love these! Well done!!!
I love all these ideas. They are simple but gorgeous. The colors I like are silver and white and red.
Your 100 and two year old Grandma 👵 can do this. 😂😂. Another fabulous video with more amazing inspiration!! You're the best!! ❤ Thank you!! ❤
I have 6 trees; they all have their own theme. I'll be using some of these DIY's for sure.
I like snowmen. I loved all of your DIY's.
Definitely gonna do the door ribbon one! I feel very inspired!
YES!! Absolutely amazing and I LOVE the traditional Christmas colors and look! Thank you!
Black, evergreen and warm woods is my theme. Loved every single one of your DIYs!!
I normally do a vintage traditional Christmas. But my husband’s aunt gave me a pure white Christmas tree so I’m going to attempt so do a candy cane tree this year
I love colored lights but anything snowman ⛄️ is my favorite ❤️
I am the real MVP, always and forever! Began watching last year, your content gave me the inspirations to produce holiday decor for Hospice Nurses in Dallas, Texas. You are truly making the world a more beautiful place!
I haven't watched a crafting video in over a year, or gone to dollar tree, except for Halloween. I am so glad that this is the one I some how chose to click on. Absolutely beautiful ideas, great video. I loved every single one.
Thank you thank you thank you, I can’t to wait to get started! And
I have always loved traditional colors, it reminds me of my childhood.
I love the traditional colors just like you do. Every single one of these diy's are amazing looking!! I love them all!! So glad you're back posting.
Love them all! We love the “traditional” Christmas style too..but we use mostly reds and a lot of buffalo plaid in black and white.
