    Ok so I found out about your channel because of a Reddit post I saw that listed you as a good resource for advanced tanks. I have been watching all your videos since. I am in no way an advanced tank but I have learned so much and wanted to say thank you for everything! Following your advice, I changed my gear traits, enchants, and play style. It has been amazing. I already loved tanking in ESO and now it’s even better cause I’m better. Cannot wait for your take on an arcanist tank build when everything goes live!

    Perfect timing, I have been helping some new tanks and sharing your vids with them. One thing, there are some good beginner tanking guides from Nefas and Jdub that are a bit out of date and others with information that may not be the most optimal in taking the new tank into mid/endgame. I'm sure it would take time, but could you do a "complete beginners guide to tanking" showing basics of stacking, surviving, turning boss (pugging rnd as dd seeing this NOT done smh) etc. It could be one more resource from you your followers could share to new tanks. Thanks for all you do!

    Recently returned to ESO and a friend suggested I check out your channel.
    Thoughts on Sentinel of Rkugamz's as another situational semi-selfish set. It provides less compared to Engine Guardian on individual stats, but it does service health, stam, and magicka all at once and can be summoned almost on command, when needed.
    My apologies if that had already been addressed.

    I found that tremorscales multiplier was 0.765 but that was just some testing done with different armor values then averaging the results.
    Regarding arch druid vs tremorscale arch comes out on top in a perfect world assuming there is no necro in group. Tremorscale at 33k armor breaks 2526 enemy reistance which is equal to a group damage gain of 3.83% assuming no overpen is happening and has an easy 100% uptime.
    Archdruid has a 7s duration with a 15s cd so on perfect cd procs it will be up 46.6% of the time meaning you get an overal group damage boost of 4.66%

    Healer should provide minor courage. Even if they have no class ability you can scribe for a 20 second duration skill with 100% uptime. Better to take up a skill slot than a 5 piece armor bonus in group. I know this is an old video but just wanted to put this out there in case people are watching this now.

    Love this content thank you! However I wanted to get your opinion on a combo what may be better than Arch Druid in dungeons. Especially when running TT.
    If say for example you’re running TT. Wouldn’t Naza be better to pair with TT plus warhorn ultimate? It would extend major vuln and aggressive horn by an additional 12.5 seconds which is massive. And major vuln up time would be 66% since TT has a cool down of 5 second without Arch Druid for a up time of 66%. Seems like the better option no?
    Or is 100% uptime of major vuln from TT plus Arch optimally more damage wise vs the extended duration from Naza?

    • @Hyperioxes
      @Hyperioxes  2 месяца назад +2

      Nazaray doesn't extend Aggressive Horn

      @@Hyperioxes gotcha! I see that I didn’t read it correctly. Naza states “debuffs” not buffs. My mistake! Struggling to see it even being worth it over Arch for tanks. Appreciate the info!

  • @minotaur818

    For keeping minor vuln in conjunction with turning tide for unoptimized dungeons, would archdruid be better overall as you can proc it easier and more frequently right after tide ends (totaling 17 sec)? Meanwhile nazaray does extend major vuln for longer, but proccing it would be a lot harder and less flexible.

    I'm so lost, your entire selection is about Penetration, something DPS worry about. Not tanks. None of the sets have any resistances. Is this video just trolling for new tanks and openly helping to get them 1 shot? You need resistances to tank, you need Armor and HP.
    What the hell are tanks doing with penetration lol. Why not just demand they get in light gear too while you are at it?!!

    • @luchtt
      @luchtt Год назад

      you can reach relative optimal tankiness without having to invest any 1,2 or 5 piece set at all to tankiness. perhaps you have not been playing the game in a while, it used to be a bit harder to survive, but even for the hardest content in the game (vDSR HM, vRG HM, vSE HM) tanks do not require any survival sets. It's not a ''if you are good enough you can use these dmg oriented sets and survive while wearing them'', it's ''you can survive purely by optimal trait, enchant and weight distribution (and proper food/potion use)''. as long as its setup correctly adding additional survivability sets is a big waste because you will not see a noticeable increase in survivability from them unless you are playing bad, but playing bad can be fixed very easily.
      Reaching armor cap (33100) and being able to sustain your skills (generall either harmony cost reduction or infused cost reduction, and recovery food or the other way around, max stat food recovery enchants) this is all you need to accomplish to fulfill pretty much the entire role of holding the boss without dying, comfortably might I add.
      That is why tanks use debuffing/buffing sets. In terms of opportunity cost, its more efficient to increase group damage by 5-20% than to increase your survivability by 1-2% while surviving fine.
      In fact, it's often a detriment to be *too* high health, because there are a decent amount of health based damage mechanics that deal a lot more damage when you're at say, 60k hp compared to 40k (39-46k is generally what tanks end up at nowadays and its more than enough usually). Since the resist cap is reached relatively easy (armor lines on armor do help though) you dont need to invest any sets into that either unless you're using an unusual setup with more light or medium armor on body for example.
