Sportster Chopper: CV Carb Upgrades

In this short video we go over some simple and easy modifications for the Harley Davidson CV Carb! A Bates brand choke relocation bracket (made in Germany), fresh stainless steel Allen screws, and a brand new choke cable give this carb a fresh 'til death appearance and better function to boot. Each one of these modifications I consider mandatory for any Sportster project.
The Bates choke relocation bracket is excellent build quality and not only looks great but also provides a smoother and more reliable choke operation. Brand new Allen screws provide piece of mind for taking apart the carb down the road. Rounding off this simple trio of mods is a brand new choke cable which provides ample clearance for the incoming gas line.

4x M4 x 0.7 x 20mm (Top Cap/Vacuum Piston)

1x M5 Split Lock Washer (Throttle Cable Bracket Screw)
11x M4 Split Lock Washers (Top Cap/Vacuum Piston, Float Bowl, Diaphragm/Accelerator Pump)
