Olive Oil is very healthy, but you should NOT heat to smoke point. That goes for ANY oil. That's when bad chem reactions happen. I cook with Avocado Oil mostly, maybe coconut sometimes. Olive oil for drizzling, dipping, topping etc.

34 yo sahm of two, need to lose 65 lbs just to get to a healthy weight. Dont get good sleep and probably wont for another year or so. Just trying to change my eating habits atm, eating high protein, no processed carbs, no snacking, and mild IF (6pm-6/7am)
Hoping this will get me far before i have to really focus on strength training because i just dont have a lot of tine for that. But uts very encouraging to hear i could do ten minutes here, ten minutes there, scattered throughout my day. I may actually be able to figure out how to work that in that way.
I am lightly active all dya long with the kids. Not a lot of time for sitting. But feel the need to strrength grain and get my heart rate up more, for health and weight loss.
Ive never lost a large amount of weight like this before. Ive been on a slow climb for about ten years. But im feeling really motivated to eat differently so i can stay healthy for my kids. Im aiming for a life change, not just a diet.

I am 61 and have had to totally change my lifting days and weight. Go heavy or go home. Also Dr Panda has helped me eat in my correct circadian rhythms. 8 hour feedings. Here we go!

Great point about the calories in nuts. Whenever i incorporate raw nuts into my diet, i lose weight. I know it's strange but it's a fact in my case

Same here, the protein good fat & fiber is awesome. CICO is really limited, and certainly not a great rule. The study where they powderized the same exact portion size & calorie amount in the food, the subjects gained 85% more weight on powderized version.

Uhhh, raised by Mediterraneans… Mostly frugal not rich people… we use more animal fats in the cooking. Olive Oil not so much.

Sorry… I’ll take my cardio. I burn between 900-1,000 calories an hour in my workouts and have an extremely low resting heart rate (typically around 45ish), low body fat percentage, high amounts of energy and decent amount of strength.

@Calista have u looked up the plastic code at bottom of containers and see how they are harmful to us? They literally tell us they are breaking our bodies down and giving us health issues. Then they give us the meds 😅 we can't win 😅

@lovethyvibes has everything to do with being lazy. Lazy to learn. Lazy to plan. Lazy to train. Lazy to commit. Lazy to buy good whole sound food. Lazy to be consistent.

Like other hunter-gatherers, Hadza are quite short. They are not particularly thin; men are quite muscular (Photograph 16.1), and most women have substantial subcutaneous fat. Adult Hadza women (aged 18-60) were 150.7 cm tall and weighed 46 kg on average. Men (aged 20-60) were 160.6 cm tall and weighed 51.3 kg
Men weigh 112 POUNDS ON AVERAGE.
But they are burning 2500 calories a day.
Women weigh just a tad over 100 lbs and burn 1800 calories.
    There’s no adaptation
They DO NOT burn the same amount as a couch potato American.
They are super small and they eat a lot for how small they are.
