      @@TakeThatScrewOutI have a question
      My bro got me a handful of arctic silver thermal paste
      I have my gpu oc I run it daily at least 12 hrs a day it's been running that way for about 2 and half years
      Should I take it apart and take the thermal paste off clean it and reapply new paste
      My current Temps are 65c in cod at like main menu screens or loadout screens and like 74c max playing
      I know that's not super hot but wouldn't it still get better by putting new paste on thanks in advance for replying and for making the tutorial

      @TakeThatScrewOut  Год назад +2

      @jgvtc559 Thank you for your comment.., bro, the temps of your gpu is still really good, 65 deg cel. on heavy game loads is really good..all i can suggest is leave it as it is for another 6 months..and if your temps after 6 months still the same. Don't change your thermal pads and paste if not necesary, that just waste of your money. Only change and clean the fan if you started to notice temps starting to go up on heavy loads, specially when it throttles. 90 deg and above. But if you could clean the fan and heatsink once or twice a year without repasting and changing the pads..thats great! That could save you a bit of your money.

      @@TakeThatScrewOut I just bought one of that cards and it's quite good indeed. I was looking for taking it apart, so I've found your nice tutorial, mostly to have a picture about the MOSfets displacement - I was looking to watercool it. I had an RX480 before and I had a block for the gpu plus one for the mosfets. I could manage to fit the gpu block, but unfortunately the waterblock for the mosfets is unusable here (too large and there's no holes for the screws). @@YTRSKTR If you're referring to the White one then just contacted Zotac support and this is their instruction:
      To change the thermal paste or pad follow the guide below.
      1. Remove the screws on the shroud, this should remove the case fan case on the card.
      2. Remove 4 screws on the PCB holding the heatsink.
      3. Once the heatsink is out, unplug the fan wire on the PCB board.
      4. You should now have a bare PCB. Replace the pad and paste as you like.
