I have many issues about this review and disagree with many of your points. To be fair, I'm not sure why Zotac made 2 variants of the 3060 Ti. Excluding fan stop and the glowing logo on the non-OC version is dumb. Also, your thoughts on the fans being loud are justified as that has been the normal from Zotac for a little bit on their smaller cards. The issues I have is mostly with your testing methodology. For example, you didn't include your test bench specifications. Such as, hardware, driver version or build of Windows 10. This doesn't give people an accurate idea of how their own PC would relate to the test results. Speaking of accuracy, you used a screen-recorder WHILE benchmarking. This is a no-no. By doing so, you yourself don't even have accurate data and are giving the audience a ball-park figure. I would suggest a capture card on either a laptop or another rig to accurately capture a benchmarking run. If that's out of budget or too much of a hassle, do what Gamers Nexus does and just record a run for footage purposes and put a disclaimer on-screen. Also, you seemed to narrow in on the niche market that is VR. Now, I'm not saying this is bad. In fact, it is a nice addition for those that are looking at the 3060 Ti for VR; however, you only included ONE non-VR game (CyberPunk 2077). Why not test the 3060 Ti on other games? Only testing one game doesn't give you or the audience an accurate picture of how well it can perform in regular titles. Also, not to mention, the state of which CyberPunk 2077 is currently in makes it a terrible title to be the only benchmarked non-VR game. Another thing I noticed on CyberPunk, in your benchmarking footage, your CPU is near 100% usage most of the time. This points towards your CPU being a bottleneck and is holding the 3060 Ti back. I don't think you've given Zotac a fair shake here. A lot of the issues you experienced could have been potentially fixed with a bit more troubleshooting. The information from Reddit regarding CyberPunk is very helpful though! Changing a BIOS setting on your PCI-E 16x slot from Auto to GEN 4 (if the board you're using supports PCI-E 4.0) could've helped. It also could've been a driver issue, a problem with Windows or even a needed BIOS update. In conclusion, I would put a bit more in-depth detail into your benchmarking process. You have the structure and b-roll footage to make a great review. I just think you've fumbled a bit on the benchmarking data and that's okay! I hope you see this as constructive criticism and not hateful. I also hope you implement some of my criticisms next time around. I'll be waiting for your next video to hit my sub box!

ᴊᴜsᴛɪɴ a 10700 wont bottleneck a 3060 ti, a bottleneck in this case is that the cpu isn’t fast enough to keep up with the gpu so you aren’t getting as much frames as you would if you had a better cpu
Youre bottlenecking the GPU pretty hard. During your Cyberpunk clips the GPU utilization hovers between 50% and 60%. Thats not the GPUs fault. Youre probably using a slow CPU.
Well I do agree, this isn't the best 3060TI. But its not as bad as in your video. And I wonder how you're hitting 100% on the fans. I live in a hot humid place and my card at most went to 92%.

I have this card and I'm running it with a ryzen 7 5800x, and G.skill ripjaws 16GB dual ch 3600mhz CL16 ...and maxed out settings at 1080p with ray tracing maxed fully on and dlss in "performance" mode and I'm getting around 90-100fps in Cyberpunk
The card is working great in my end, runs a bit hot but doesn't surpass 80c which is good for any card and I'm pretty positive the oc version runs way hotter, the only thing I can conclude from this video is that the card doesn't have a glowing logo which isn't a big deal for me I bought the card to play with it not to stare at it
@@aw-g the fans are so loud when using the default fan speed, I suggest you download msi afterburner and set the maximum fan speed to 70% this way it won't be loud at all
My guy reasons why your frames are like that its either your getting a real bad bottleneck from your CPU or RAM (RAM not so much but can still contribute with the CPU) or considering that you where originally using an AMD card my guess that you didn't use DDU to wipe your AMD drivers completely. This is an absolute must when switching from AMD to NVIDIA GPUs vice versa, it can cause game crashing, corruption, performance and god knows what else. This card is excellent for those who just want to experience good fps on 1440p or 1080p yea sure you can spend a little more for the OC version (or other manufactures like gigabyte, msi, etc) but if you can do it yourself if you put the time into it same with that 0 fan speed you can literally set that up on a fan curve in afterburner.

I can’t believe you recommended the ihs yet eagle over this card. This is a solid card. I owns several 3080,3070 and 3060ti’s and there were two cards I was actually disappointed with. The 3080 eagle and the 3080 MSI Trio. Gigabytes thermal pads are absolute garbage. I actually had to replace all of them on the brand new cards.
@@iramike mine ran at like 54c with 98% GPU usage streaming Escape from Tarkov via OBS. Never measured the DB on the noise so can't comment but it sounded sweet to me.
The Zotac model has an issue with the fan shroud making contact with the heatsink and being really noisy from the fan turbulence... Makes it sound like your fans are failing or something is stuck in the card fans. Zotac only used 4 tiny screws to mount the shroud to the heatsink and only on the outer edges. This leaves the inside of the shroud not snug to the heatsink and I noticed that with some small thermal pads (.5mm) on the inside/outside layer of the shroud that mates to the heatsink fins helps dampen the rattling sound that was made. Something thicker like double sided tape might work but the screws that hold the shroud to the heatsink are very small in length and might not thread in. Pre-paste and pad replacement my temperatures were 78c on the core/93c on hotspot, and fanspeeds of 85%. After replacing the thermal paste with mx-4 and used high grade thermal pads the temps with stock profile come to about 74c with a hotspot of 86c under load and fan speeds of 75%. An undervolt to 831mv @1755mhz has given me temps around 57c on the core, 69c on hotspot, and maybe 55% fan speed under load. As someone who values a card that's reliable the zotac "works" but has quirks like the fan issues as well as needing a proper undervolt to enjoy a system that doesn't sound like a jet engine. I get that other 2 fan cards might run similarly as far as temperatures go but the fans are so much louder in comparison. Having cards that hit nearly 80c on the core and 95c on the hotspot is asking for the card to fail faster. I'll take the 7% fps loss to get 17c reduction and much lower fan speeds. Completely agree with this review glad I wasn't the only one that felt this way! TL:DR -Pre Paste and Pads; Core 78c, Hotspot 93c, Fan Speed 85% -Post Paste and Pads; Core 74c, Hotspot 86c, Fan Speed 84% -Post Paste and Pads With Undervolt of 831mv@1755mhz; Core 57c, Hotspot 69c, Fan Speed 55%
I have this card and here's my gripes with it: -The LED isn't toggleable -It runs a bit hot under full synthetic load (77-78 avg, 88-89 hotspot) -It's not loud IMO, it's just high pitched so it's more noticeable. That being said, this card is a monster for me, although I would like to cool it better.

I have the zotac twin edge 3060ti white edition, check your fan curves and the overall case airflow performance as well as it matters very much, if all is well then underclock it a bit and you'll be good, it wouldn't exceed above 75C under full load. FYI this video is terrible lmao don't listen to him. This is anything but benchmarking lmao

Is this a joke review? How is your Cpu at like 80-90 percent utilization yet the Gpu in question is only at the 50-60 range? You're bottlenecking the crap out of the Gpu then blaming it. Its your ancient Cpu that's the real issue. Why not spend some of the $400ish on a decent Cpu instead?
There was no justice for the Zotac 3060ti in this video, you can’t expect a piece of gold to make a pot of silvers all gold. My point being, if you got a bunch of c tier parts and you put this A tier gpu in your setup, of course It won’t perform on the same level with the general benchmark of the 3060ti. The truth is, pretty any 3060 ti on the market, whether be it a single fan or dual fan or even a beefy 3 fans gpu, they all pack the same power and performance. The only difference with the fans and the brands of the cards will be the thermals, meaning of course you will get higher temps gaming on a single fan 3060ti than a 3 fan 3060ti but the fps will be around the same, given the temp of both cards are both under 80 degrees since if it exceeds the 80 degrees Celsius mark it will start throttling, which means losing frames due to the gpu cutting down some power to cool down and maintain within 80 degrees celsius. In short BUY A 3060 Ti if you want to and have the budget to. Choose wisely based on how long you want the gpu to last, if you want to run the gpu for years to come then choosing a 2 fans to 3 fans will be the best choice. The single fan version are not recommended, unless of course your budget is within the single fan gpu price range. If you see a 3060 ti zotac for msrp and you are planning to buy it, just do it. I hope this makes this does justice to the 3060ti from zotac.

Sorry to say so but why be stuck on the fps counter instead of looking couple pixels upwards. Ur gpu utilisation always maxed out at 70%. There is a bottleneck in your system. In cp77 you are only using 50% ; recording couldnt take that much

thing is though he has low cpu utilization too. i have the exact same issue with the exact same card. went through nvidia support and zotac support and even rma'd it but it came back with no problems. im desperate to find a fix. im using a ryzen 5 3600 and 32gb of ddr4 ram

Avoid the Asus Dual as well. I'm seeing 5% to near 10% less performance than almost everything else (games AND synthetics, using matching methodology as multiple outlets such as Hardware Unboxed) I'm on 8700k with 5.25ghz OC and 3600mhz CL14 Samsung B die ram at 16gb. No CPU bottleneck here.
Oh, I thought this of be a petty video but, wow, the fan auto stop is insulting. I have a 1070 from them and the auto stop is a necessity, the cooler is very loud when it kicks up. Thanks for the heads up!
Sorry to say this, but you review the performance of a graphics card while having no idea about what you are doing at all… In Cyberpunk your CPU is clearly maxing out, in other games neither CPU nor GPU reach its limits. I assume your CPU and RAM are rubbish. You didn’t show any case where you would actually use at least half of the GPU

Bottleneck the hell out of the card by pairing it with components that may or may not have been able to catch up with the card and complain why you get low fps or performance in every game you benchmarked. 3 years on and heres my review. My 3060ti zotac has had 2 new left fans. Why? Because the housing is so close to the heat source it heats the fan up and the plastic stretches resulting in a wobbly fan. Its noise. The left fan never turns off. I'm using a thunderbolt box to a laptop. The card is already OC'd by zotac, badly, so your limited as what you can do. Good points is it prefers 4k over 1080 but is throttled by my i7-1165g7 😂 avoid this veriant of the 3060ti...

EVERY game's memory seems to be maxed out at approx. 9800/9900 MB in this review. This PC is bottlenecked elsehwere! I got better results with my Zotac 2060 Amp & my Zotac 2080 Super AMP. I have 32GB MEM and my usage tops out at over 12GB+ playing Cyberpunk @ 4k 60fps on a Zotac 3080 Trinity OC. I think it's an EXCELLENT card. It is quiet, cool, and play's pretty much everything that I throw at it. I have it undervolted, 875mv @ 1920-2000mhz and it has IMPROVED performance by approx. 8%! I have had 3 Zotac cards over the past 5 years and have had NO problems with them. I sold my Zotac 2060 Amp approx. 5 months ago, it was still in such great shape that the buyer gave it as a gift and has had no complaints!
There are not many ways ANY 3060 Ti runs like this unless it is defective or your computer is suffering from a hidden issue, either way, marketing this video as if you 1. Got a normal card or 2. your games are not optimized/GPU is not reaching 100% usage is terrible practice, not only for your own knowledge but also us viewers who need an honest review. Neither your GPU or CPU reached maximum usage in the course of this video...I doubt this is an optimization issue. The ONLY troubleshoot I safely recommend is checking your NVIDIA Control Panel Driver Settings. I'd suggest making sure you have the "Power Management Setting" turned to "Prefer maximum performance", this is the SLIMIEST in Driver settings because It is set to Optimize power usage BY DEFAULT, this will severely throttle your GPU clock and usage to only use a certain amount of power...that could be the biggest issue, and thus stopping your CPU from also performing at its best. I would also recommend using monitoring software to check your entire PC's hardware. It's possible your CPU, RAM, or even the DRIVE your games are stored on are inhibiting your performance. Hope this helps, your large YT following deserves to see more accurate/well-tested content.
It hit 100 in cyberpunk on the CPU, but the GPU had half the headroom left. I suspect a sky/kaby lake CPU while 2 cores are at 100% in other examples. Even worse if it's a Devil canyon as it uses DDR3 which today is God awful.
I just got this card and its performance is overwhelming ly good! Its is loud but you can undervolt while only losing 1 to 2 fps. Im Getting 150fps on sandstorm high settings 1440p and 100fps mostly high settings in wz2 1440p and it looks and feels outstanding!

To be clear the only reason why I dislike this card is because they removed the fan stop not because of performance. Other cards the same price or cheaper have a fan stop. Performance is fine I already found the fix on reddit for cyberpunk.

Got it on christmas and it's working great. I have no problem with Cyberpunk when playing on MAX with ultra raytracing or other games.

That's odd I had a Gigabyte 3060ti Eagle OC Rev. 2.0 LHR and it ran below 60c most of the time at 99% streaming Escape from Tarkov.

The Zotac model has an issue with the fan shroud making contact with the heatsink and being really noisy from the fan turbulence... Makes it sound like your fans are failing or something is stuck in the card fans. Zotac only used 4 tiny screws to mount the shroud to the heatsink and only on the outer edges. This leaves the inside of the shroud not snug to the heatsink and I noticed that with some small thermal pads (.5mm) on the inside/outside layer of the shroud that mates to the heatsink fins helps dampen the rattling sound that was made. Something thicker like double sided tape might work but the screws that hold the shroud to the heatsink are very small in length and might not thread in. Pre-paste and pad replacement my temperatures were 78c on the core/93c on hotspot, and fanspeeds of 85%. After replacing the thermal paste with mx-4 and used high grade thermal pads the temps with stock profile come to about 74c with a hotspot of 86c under load and fan speeds of 75%. An undervolt to 831mv @1755mhz has given me temps around 57c on the core, 69c on hotspot, and maybe 55% fan speed under load. As someone who values a card that's reliable the zotac "works" but has quirks like the fan issues as well as needing a proper undervolt to enjoy a system that doesn't sound like a jet engine. I get that other 2 fan cards might run similarly as far as temperatures go but the fans are so much louder in comparison. Having cards that hit nearly 80c on the core and 95c on the hotspot is asking for the card to fail faster. I'll take the 7% fps loss to get 17c reduction and much lower fan speeds. Completely agree with this review glad I wasn't the only one that felt this way!

I have this card and here's my gripes with it:
-The LED isn't toggleable
-It runs a bit hot under full synthetic load (77-78 avg, 88-89 hotspot)
-It's not loud IMO, it's just high pitched so it's more noticeable.
That being said, this card is a monster for me, although I would like to cool it better.
I wish i bought this imsted of pny rtx3060 ti xlr8 revel epic-x tme name is bad sorry but the card reaches 77 78 c with 79 to 80 %fam speed and its annoying as hell i thin a two fan card for rtx 3060 ti amd above is not good man the 3070 palit gaing pro was only 200 dollar more expensive

I have the zotac twin edge 3060ti white edition, check your fan curves and the overall case airflow performance as well as it matters very much, if all is well then underclock it a bit and you'll be good, it wouldn't exceed above 75C under full load.

Is this a joke review? How is your Cpu at like 80-90 percent utilization yet the Gpu in question is only at the 50-60 range? You're bottlenecking the crap out of the Gpu then blaming it. Its your ancient Cpu that's the real issue. Why not spend some of the $400ish on a decent Cpu instead?

There was no justice for the Zotac 3060ti in this video, you can’t expect a piece of gold to make a pot of silvers all gold. My point being, if you got a bunch of c tier parts and you put this A tier gpu in your setup, of course It won’t perform on the same level with the general benchmark of the 3060ti.
The truth is, pretty any 3060 ti on the market, whether be it a single fan or dual fan or even a beefy 3 fans gpu, they all pack the same power and performance. The only difference with the fans and the brands of the cards will be the thermals, meaning of course you will get higher temps gaming on a single fan 3060ti than a 3 fan 3060ti but the fps will be around the same, given the temp of both cards are both under 80 degrees since if it exceeds the 80 degrees Celsius mark it will start throttling, which means losing frames due to the gpu cutting down some power to cool down and maintain within 80 degrees celsius.
In short BUY A 3060 Ti if you want to and have the budget to. Choose wisely based on how long you want the gpu to last, if you want to run the gpu for years to come then choosing a 2 fans to 3 fans will be the best choice. The single fan version are not recommended, unless of course your budget is within the single fan gpu price range. If you see a 3060 ti zotac for msrp and you are planning to buy it, just do it. I hope this makes this does justice to the 3060ti from zotac.

Sorry to say so but why be stuck on the fps counter instead of looking couple pixels upwards. Ur gpu utilisation always maxed out at 70%. There is a bottleneck in your system. In cp77 you are only using 50% ; recording couldnt take that much

Avoid the Asus Dual as well. I'm seeing 5% to near 10% less performance than almost everything else (games AND synthetics, using matching methodology as multiple outlets such as Hardware Unboxed)
I'm on 8700k with 5.25ghz OC and 3600mhz CL14 Samsung B die ram at 16gb. No CPU bottleneck here.

In Cyberpunk your CPU is clearly maxing out, in other games neither CPU nor GPU reach its limits. I assume your CPU and RAM are rubbish. You didn’t show any case where you would actually use at least half of the GPU

Bottleneck the hell out of the card by pairing it with components that may or may not have been able to catch up with the card and complain why you get low fps or performance in every game you benchmarked. 3 years on and heres my review. My 3060ti zotac has had 2 new left fans. Why? Because the housing is so close to the heat source it heats the fan up and the plastic stretches resulting in a wobbly fan. Its noise. The left fan never turns off. I'm using a thunderbolt box to a laptop. The card is already OC'd by zotac, badly, so your limited as what you can do.
Good points is it prefers 4k over 1080 but is throttled by my i7-1165g7 😂 avoid this veriant of the 3060ti...

I have 32GB MEM and my usage tops out at over 12GB+ playing Cyberpunk @ 4k 60fps on a Zotac 3080 Trinity OC. I think it's an EXCELLENT card. It is quiet, cool, and play's pretty much everything that I throw at it. I have it undervolted, 875mv @ 1920-2000mhz and it has IMPROVED performance by approx. 8%! I have had 3 Zotac cards over the past 5 years and have had NO problems with them. I sold my Zotac 2060 Amp approx. 5 months ago, it was still in such great shape that the buyer gave it as a gift and has had no complaints!
There are not many ways ANY 3060 Ti runs like this unless it is defective or your computer is suffering from a hidden issue, either way, marketing this video as if you
1. Got a normal card or 2. your games are not optimized/GPU is not reaching 100% usage is terrible practice, not only for your own knowledge but also us viewers who need an honest review.
Neither your GPU or CPU reached maximum usage in the course of this video...I doubt this is an optimization issue.
The ONLY troubleshoot I safely recommend is checking your NVIDIA Control Panel Driver Settings.
I'd suggest making sure you have the "Power Management Setting" turned to "Prefer maximum performance", this is the SLIMIEST in Driver settings because It is set to Optimize power usage BY DEFAULT, this will severely throttle your GPU clock and usage to only use a certain amount of power...that could be the biggest issue, and thus stopping your CPU from also performing at its best.
I would also recommend using monitoring software to check your entire PC's hardware. It's possible your CPU, RAM, or even the DRIVE your games are stored on are inhibiting your performance.
Hope this helps, your large YT following deserves to see more accurate/well-tested content.
It hit 100 in cyberpunk on the CPU, but the GPU had half the headroom left. I suspect a sky/kaby lake CPU while 2 cores are at 100% in other examples. Even worse if it's a Devil canyon as it uses DDR3 which today is God awful.

I just got this card and its performance is overwhelming ly good! Its is loud but you can undervolt while only losing 1 to 2 fps. Im Getting 150fps on sandstorm high settings 1440p and 100fps mostly high settings in wz2 1440p and it looks and feels outstanding!

You need to do the benchmarks and find what mhz yours runs at max and I think I went as low as 925 mv.
