Yeah, the focus of this game is Zelda. I'd say beginning of the game and maybe the final "battle" he's stuck in a cage or crystal and you echo him for his abilities.
I remember when TOTK's 2nd trailer came, and we saw the scene of Link and Zelda separated by her falling into the pit... people speculated we could play as both Link and Zelda, where Link was on the overworld and occasionally we'd check in with Zelda in the underground trying to meet up with each other again. I wonder if this game took such theories into consideration for Echoes of Wisdom... or maybe it's just the first part of the trailer where we see Link fighting Ganon before the separation occurred.
@@Enigma75614nah, game was great as it was. No need to complicate it further. The switch was maxed out with the amount of content they put into it. The developers originally out in larger sky islands but the switch hardware couldn’t take it so they had to reduce the amount. Even without the hardware limitations, Personally, I’m glad they resisted adding in Zelda as a playable character.
The trailers definitely made me think you played as Zelda in TOTK underground. I mean, the depths weren't ever fully revealed, so at least we got half of the speculation correct that there was an underground map.
@@TheTyisawesome They were making one but it was quietly canceled with the Amico. There was also a show in the works but apparently it was connected to NFTs and was also thrown out when support from fans vanished. All we have is a crappy teaser for the game and a pretty good teaser for the show.

Maybe it has a light and dark world like A Link to the Past. Link gets sucked into the dark world and you periodically switch between the two characters. What Zelda does in the Light, changes things in the Dark, and vice versa.
We recently got that eh crash spinoff. Why cant we just get crash 5 or maybe like twinsanity and wrath if cortex hd remasters. Ive always like crash and Spyro more than mario and sonic , sucks they’re stuck to activision

It wasn't Crash 5 that was canceled... Read the other dev Tweets that talk about "Project Dragon," and how it was a "cozy survival sandbox crafting multiplayer RPG." Not sure why the one guy brought up Crash 5, but all the other devs who worked on game for 3 years said it was not Crash.
When I saw Spawn put up that "Crash vs Spyro" poll I was like "Oh deer" hoping that he would see all the post people made trying to clear up the misinformation, looks like he didn't :(

I think they just said that in order to contrast typical Link gameplay to Zelda's. As in, "Back when you played as Link, it was like this, but now it's like this." Wouldn't be surprised if you played as him for a bit in the beginning, though.
So here’s my theory on the rating summary for Zelda; either it’s comparing how link plays normally to how Zelda plays in Echoes, or there are short sections where you assume control of link inside the rift a la spider man Mary Jane segments.
it would be awesome if you had some sections as Link where he is helping Zelda from that shadow realm. since that Hyrule is known to have the upside down world with puzzles using the moon pearl we could have em interact between realms to solve dungeon rooms or clear paths between worlds.
Is the mention of link, just a comparison too explain that the zelda gameplay is different? So not actually saying you're playing as Link but comparing the gameplay styles

Felt like one of the last times every company in the AAA side of the industry was willing to put out both new stuff and fun updates to existing IPs, and so many of them were bangers. Nowadays much of the AAA space feels so “whatever,” only one I still have a high opinion of is Nintendo. Yes they need to really reel in their legal department, but their game devs are still some of the best in the industry. Outside of Nintendo the majority of my time is often spent with indies or AA games, which feel like they keep the spirit of the sixth gen alive.
We don't use Slack anymore, but when we did it was made clear to users that nothing proprietary was allowed to be posted there. People should know better.

I think it would be really cool if Nintendo tried to do something similar to Eastward for the upcoming Zelda. Link could be your fighter/strength while Zelda could help with magic/puzzles. Swapping between them both at any time could be a cool dynamic.
I can't wait to play Driver:Tokyo drift. You'll be drifting up multi level car parks to find that 1 spot overlooking the next section of the map. Smoking out "the competition " by burning rubber in their car yard. Truly innovative game design /S
I think that since you need the master sword to seal the evil, they might give link in the last battle to use it like you would use a monster to defend yourself making a tag team like in every game but this time using zelda and having Link as a partner for that last battle.
3:02 You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. Parallel Lines was fantastic and Driver San Fransisco was incredibly fun, Had the best arcade Driving psychics still to this day, The multiplayer was god-tier and Split Screen was so good. They definitely got better.
I think the Zelda description is talking about in the beginning of the game you play as Link, then you get captured and continue/finish the adventure as Zelda. I am pretty sure even the trailer suggests this 😎👍
About the magezine they’ve been releasing them in Japanese physically since summer 2020 in which Isabelle from animal crossing was on the cover,then mario for the winter and so on,and publishing them online in English,been collecting them for a while pretty niche but they’re great for finding games on published in Japan
i guess RUclips is still broken. on the checkmark bars 1 say tmnt mutants unless when it is actually ubisoft driver, another bar say concord when it is cash bandicoot. i do want to see another driver game but since they walking away from it and still making a game that related still have my interest. but would like to see some HD remastered.

That alone could probably warrant the rating too. Impa also beats up guards in hand to hand combat. I honestly think people are just reading too much into it.

Crash is my favorite franchise of all time, and it has been mishandled so many times for literal decades. The N Sane Trilogy was great, Crash Team Racing was incredible, and Crash 4 was an amazing modernization. Then they crapped the bed with Crash Team Rumble which was never going to succeed, and now they’ve cancelled a Crash 5. Activision sucks.
Personally I *DISLIKED* "Crash 4" so much (due to FRUSTRATING platforming/mechanics and forgettable boss fights), so for me, "Crash 5" isn't something I care to see anytime soon. On the other hand, I'm DEFINITELY hoping for a *Spyro 4* game with them hopefully *re-introducing Cynder,* but in a brand new origin story for her that has nothing to do with her original PS2 appearance.
I wholly expect a nice chunk of the game will feature tag team character switching a la donkey kong country and perhaps (with new game+) a whole game co op option. It would be a major missed opportunity not to.
I'm very excited for the future of GC modding. Swiss could get Ethernet integration and update on the fly instead of removing the SD card. Also, we could very well see many multiplayer games using private servers and browsers.

So this is just me guessing for fun but what if it was like the boss fights are collaborative where Zelda and Link are both fighting these entities from two different sides of these rifts and you got a kind of solve a puzzle as Zelda so then you switch to Link who can now fight them now that they're vulnerable.
Yeah, what if you play as both Zelda and Link but you use one or the other to move objects, open doors or other objectives to reflect the others world.
I took it as them comparing previous games and how they are played with Link and fought with sword and arrows and how this one will be played differently. It was very poorly written, I think people may be reading too much into this
But can it play samurai legend musashi? That is the only game I've noticed that has not been able to work on that or any emulator. There's massive graphical issues
The only thing I hate about emulators is that the games are not included, and I don’t know how to take my own games and rip them from cartridges and put them on the emulator
Toys For Bob pretty much confirmed they are working on a new Spyro game. In posts talking about the game they are working on, they put words that distinctly point to spyro, there's only 1 IP they work on that involve horns, soring in the sky, scales and fire, that's definitely spyro
The only problem with that GCNet is that the memory card slot has the slowest data transfer rate of all the GC ports. Still cool though. I’ll be getting one
I've been saying for a while that Crash 4 was not the right direction to take the franchise, Crash suffered in the past for changing the artstyle and the style, and the N.Sane trilogy and nitro fueled did so well because they stuck to what worked and were respectful of the series' roots, so there was no need to fix what wasn't broke and grind the momentum the series had at the time to a halt, I don't think Toys for Bob understands what makes Crash, and Spyro for that matter, resonate with people, since they're the kind of developers that prefer to give a franchise their own spin instead of sticking with what people are familiar with, want and expect.
Microsoft has been sitting on Banjo for how long? I don’t expect a new Crash or Spyro anytime. (With the exception of a possibly already in the works Spyro)
I’ll say it any time it’s relevant: Sony should simply give the rights to Microsoft for another Sunset Overdrive in exchange for the Spyro/Crash IPs, and then both companies should toss money at Toys for Bob to make them.
You probably play as Link just in the first few minutes of the game. We probably saw most of Link's gameplay in the reveal.

Tried out Concord. Felt like the maps were too big and was annoying trying to find enemies. It’s like everyone just roaming around aimlessly lol

I really hope there isn't any major playable Link segments. People have been wanting to play as both for a long time, but if the first time you get to do it is the game with Zelda as the lead, that's really lame.

So this is just me guessing for fun but what if it was like the boss fights are collaborative where Zelda and Link are both fighting these entities from two different sides of these rifts and you got a kind of solve a puzzle as Zelda so then you switch to Link who can now fight them now that they're vulnerable.
The very first thing they show in the trailer is Link gameplay. Why is this such a big surprise?
Yeah, what if you play as both Zelda and Link but you use one or the other to move objects, open doors or other objectives to reflect the others world.
I took it as them comparing previous games and how they are played with Link and fought with sword and arrows and how this one will be played differently. It was very poorly written, I think people may be reading too much into this
The previos 2 issues were in english with the last one being physical in english for the first time.

But can it play samurai legend musashi? That is the only game I've noticed that has not been able to work on that or any emulator. There's massive graphical issues
The only thing I hate about emulators is that the games are not included, and I don’t know how to take my own games and rip them from cartridges and put them on the emulator
Toys For Bob pretty much confirmed they are working on a new Spyro game. In posts talking about the game they are working on, they put words that distinctly point to spyro, there's only 1 IP they work on that involve horns, soring in the sky, scales and fire, that's definitely spyro

The only problem with that GCNet is that the memory card slot has the slowest data transfer rate of all the GC ports. Still cool though. I’ll be getting one

I've been saying for a while that Crash 4 was not the right direction to take the franchise, Crash suffered in the past for changing the artstyle and the style, and the N.Sane trilogy and nitro fueled did so well because they stuck to what worked and were respectful of the series' roots, so there was no need to fix what wasn't broke and grind the momentum the series had at the time to a halt, I don't think Toys for Bob understands what makes Crash, and Spyro for that matter, resonate with people, since they're the kind of developers that prefer to give a franchise their own spin instead of sticking with what people are familiar with, want and expect.
Spyro is way better than crash.

Microsoft has been sitting on Banjo for how long? I don’t expect a new Crash or Spyro anytime. (With the exception of a possibly already in the works Spyro)

I’ll say it any time it’s relevant: Sony should simply give the rights to Microsoft for another Sunset Overdrive in exchange for the Spyro/Crash IPs, and then both companies should toss money at Toys for Bob to make them.
Pointless. I think you forgot what kind of game Sunset Overdrive is. Microsoft would need to borrow Insomniac, and Sony won't do that.
