On behalf of everyone who has visited Disney over the past several decades, “Goodbye Murphy. We hope to see you again real soon. 😢💔”. For those of you who are not aware, the animatronic dragon, affectionately referred to as Murphy, had a catastrophic failure mid-show on April 22nd, 2023 and was destroyed by fire.
Nah, I have high hopes that Murph, which by the way, that’s what I’m nicknaming the fair and unique Murphy, will be back. Besides, the road to recovery is a long, but quick one.
In Germany, there is a show lika this too. But without Live actors! It has only Water fountains (about 40 Meters (ca. 131,23) high), Fire, Lasers (some of them only above the stage and some of them about the stage and the crowd), Video and Music. It is a mobile show and called Klangwelle Bonn. It takes place on some days in October every year. They have three Parts of the show: Classic, Rock/Pop and Carnival/German. It is very great!
As you can see that on the disappearace of sorcerer Mickey is much more different from now as you can see in this video only one firework shot off just like in WDW but now the firering of the pyro is multiple now in DL here is the time stamp: 3:01
"the witch from sleeping beauty"....even though they showed the old hag from Snow White. lol. *someone* needs to learn a little about the show and Disney movies before reporting on them, it seems!

It's interesting how the choreography has changed from '93.
@Xhamilton34 In the original finale, there were smoke screens to hide the "body" of the old dragon before Murphy was installed.

Have you been to Fantasmic! lately? Disneyland has continued to update the show's effects, and it's still gorgeous and surprising

@ Sascha F, we have a show like that in California Adventure. It's called World of Color. It's about thirty-thirty five minutes long. Beautiful!
