Oooh! Now I want to make these with cinnamon and brown sugar and mini marshmallows. Of course cooled down so I can add that scoop of vanilla ice cream! Thanks for another mouth watering and delicious Korean recipe.
Absolutely LOVE hotteok! My mouth is watering just thinking about the nut-version. There was a vendor a couple of minutes walk from me when I was living in Busan a few years ago and I'd stop by her stand almost every day. Her hotteok was so delicious and addicting that I started wondering if she spiked them with drugs or something to get people to keep coming back, haha.
Can't wait to make this, Helen. However, we were at the Gwangjang Market in Seoul the other day and had mugwort hotteok. Would I need fresh mugwort to make that or are there shortcuts like mugwort tea? The mugwort hotteok was very green in color.
I've only tried the pre-made ones from Trader Joes and H-mart. I added cinnamon and a scoop of ice cream on top for a sweet dessert. I've to try this recipe one day and make it from scratch. ~ My favorite is the plain brown sugar hotteok.
Not sure about the Trader Joe’s Hotteok, since I never tried it. In general, when you make it fresh and eat it while it is hot, it is DA BEST😋. Cinnamon and ice cream sounds delicious 🙌.
Ohhh, thats must really be so yummy. Patience in preparing the foods is always a must. Here in our country, pancake is just a quick cook, yours must really be so special because the process is longer and with special ingredients 😋😋😋
I really love how you explain how to cook, so delightful and not boring 💯💖, thank you 🇰🇷🇺🇸❤️

@@ModernPepper I wrote that before I saw your tip at the end of the video. But I've never stuffed it, I just put a scoop on top.
@@koreanconvenience Bring it to room temperature and stuff the ice cream into a Hotteok Sandwich 🥰
@@ModernPepper I'll try it, with the pumpkin seed and brown sugar combo!
