Thank you so much for sharing this. Currently working on a W124 I was overwhelmed by looking at to many pictures, builds and projects. And thanks to this neat and clean setup you built I am convinced is the way to go
I have 717410. I’m trying to gather knowledge for the eventual swap. Seems like the bell housing should bolt up. I believe I need an M103 manual fly wheel. May need to fab a trans mount. Modified drive line ? Not sure what else I need to anticipate.
@@AutoAfflicted Bellhousing should bolt up, You’ll have to either get an m103 flywheel or weld trigger points to the diesel flywheel. The manual/auto crossmember is the same and the mount is the same. There is plugged holes in the body for the different crossmember mounting points because the trans is shorter i believe. If i remember correctly you need a manual front section of the driveshaft as it’s shorter, but the rear section is the same between auto/manual. You can buy a factory clutch pedal from Kangaroo’s Team, they sell them. You’ll have to find the factory shifter and linkages as there’s no aftermarket options for shifters.
I’ve got a 300se w126 I want to use the te motorsport efi conversion and run a holset hx35 I don’t want a lot of power maybe 5-8psi of boost still what it to be a cruiser but not a race car, will I need to do any internals on the engine and will it still be suitable with the standard auto trans?
@@BantoxV2 TE-Motorsport is making me a harness and sending me a MAXXECU i purchased! Their products are wicked quality so far.
Love your videos and your build! Thanks for sharing, I have 190e 2.6 and I've started looking into the process of a future turbo build. Forgive my noob question but what are those parts on top of the valve cover? Part of the mega squirt fuel system?

Installing the TEMotorsport intake on my M103 now. Did you have any trouble with getting the bolts in to mount it? The stock bolts seem a little too long in two spots for me to get them in the hole
Megasquirt is a very DIY friendly ECU option, But MAXXECU has a lot nicer functions. TE-Motorsports also sells their plug and play harness only for MAXXECU Race.
Awesome! Just got a 92’ 300ce and looking ti do the same thing. Whatsapp your exact setup? Did u go for Kangaroos exhaust manifold or did you use temotorsports’??
I bought the kangaroo’s manifold before i knew of TE-Motorsports, If i was to buy it over again i would give the TE exhaust manifold a try. Looks like it has better clearance to the valve cover with larger turbos.
Silvers coilovers, If you’re not doing any track or drifting you can go with godspeeds. I’m running them on the daily that i do some light drifting with and they’re great
I paid $900 cad for this one with everything, paid $2500 cad for my other car with the same transmission. Just have to look hard for em, It’s better to do a 6speed swap anyways. I’ll be swapping over winter
awesome! did a m102 in my first turbo build. 190e 2.0. Learned a lot trying to fiddle with kjet. but as you say. Not worth the hassle!

Thanks for this vid. I just bought an 89 300CE and nice to see your build.
love this build and is exactly how i want my 3.0 that im gonna put in my w201 190e with a 717 manual trans
Awesome! I'm excited to see the end result
Thanks! I’ll definitely have a video of the wiring harness and ECU install as well as it running and on the dyno, Lots more to come!
Love to know more about the manual swap as I have a 250D 5 spd for my 300CE turbo
What would you like to know?
What trans code is the 5spd manual you bought?

Not running one, it’s just a summer vehicle so it’s not much of an issue
