Let's discuss a great brow product for gray hair and how to address your scalp showing through as your hair gets a lighter shade of gray (or if your hair is very fine and thin, like mine). While I would’ve never said there was anything wrong with seeing your scalp, I think the dark roots look amazing! It really does make it looks so much fuller. It reminds me of Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place!

I turned 65 three weeks ago and decided enough is enough, I’ve dyed my hair for the last 30+ years and being dark haired it’s been a nightmare, it’s like I’ve just decided the time is right, I’m truly looking forward to embracing my grey tresses ❤

I use gray eyeshadow in my brows sometimes.
That's great you found one. I have never found the right shade in eyeshadow. I feel like Silvering has the perfect shade of cool gray.
Went silver 3 yrs ago. Used to use a pencil for brows. Now I just use Maybelline -Eye Shadow Single in Tasefully Taupe. Also Fab Brows has a gray color - brow powder. Their powder is great I used to use their light brown before I went silver. Just haven’t tried their gray brow powder yet. Nice product

Ulta beauty makes a brow pencil or use grey eye shadow.
I just posted that I use gray eyeshadow(matte of course) in my brows with a shadow brush.

I have used the Tarte gray brow since you recommended it years ago. Always glad for your advice! I have a patch of hair right at the top back of my head that separates and my scalp shows thru....I hate to be in a line at a store and know people are seeing this... Do you have to use a hair spray to keep it in place?
I do not. It seems to stay put. But I suppose you could lock it in with hairspray

Question, is there a risk the scalp powder could clog the hair follicles?
I don’t think so but I wash daily so it certainly wouldn’t for me. The ingredients don’t look pore clogging to me.
