- At 5:39 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021, the Sacramento Fire Department responded to reports of a grass fire near Mile Marker 3 1/2 along the American River Bike Trail. While still en route, Battalion 3 reported seeing a large column of smoke coming from the area of the incident. Upon arrival, a second alarm was requested, as well as an additional order of 3 wildland engines. Due to high winds, the fire spread quickly, but forward progress was quickly stopped with the help of a slough at the head of the fire. The fire was mapped at approximately 5 1/2 acres and no injuries were reported.
Seeing an 18-wheeler roll Code 3 never gets old.

Pierce FTW. Something special from Wisconsin.
They should put Q's on the type 3's, and dozer transport!
Amazing!
Great catch/video. Thanks!
i didnt know there was a grass fire in the capital city of california.
nice footage
How's the state auctions out there, overpriced or worth it? Any idea what their service limits are when they get rid of things?
Look online. Do your research.
Video would’ve been gr8 but it sucks cuz I can’t see shit with that dirty ass lens.
Unfortunately the wildfire environment is not friendly to lenses. That lens was actually damaged at some point but the flare wasn’t visible until I began filming this video, since it was the first time I was shooting into the sun since the incident.
@@maxmcgregor7609 Yeah never will I rely on a actual video camera to do the job for me😂. They good and all but they can be complicated and the lens will get dirty too fast. That’s why I film with my iPhone 12 Pro cuz I can film in 4K 60FPS and drop it in water without having to worry about losing my shit. Most importantly, not worry about my lens getting dirty👍🏽.
cool
