We have some old units but not too old.. Our wagon is 2016 the engine is 2005 the small brush truck is 2008 and the big brush truck is 1990. One of the tankers is a 1997 and the other is a 1993. The rescue is 2004 and we still have our first truck a 1921 Brockway LaFrance. Evrey unit before 2000 has been refurbished and they look great!

Some departments spec. a gazillion lights on the rear and then want them programmed for reduced intensity because their counterparts following that unit complain that they are too bright. Just leave a few lights off and save some money initially.

my local fire department has an gmc and a chevy from the 80s, and a 1929 willys overland. willys is used for parades, and im sure the gmc/chevy wont go out as we dont need them ^^

Our engine is a 76 bean and tankers are 74 and 72 ford's. Our brush truck is a 56 Dodge
