The building could be high tech, environment friendly etc. but I still think this is a awful looking building. I just saw how grandiose Bibliotheque Nationale Paris is and I rue at a lost chance for Singapore to build a really nice library, more so when we had an empty piece of land to start from scratch.

I found it very practical to be honest. For me, as an expat, for some years, fulfilled my needs and expectations 😀 But probably you are right, wanting a change, an upgrade if you are local Singaporean.
