    If you think buses arnt crowded, you havent seen buses when they are CROWDED. As a student, the best example is after school, if the bus stop is very close. Especially the buses to popular shopping malls like NEX.

    tips for low budget trip
    -Don't go to Duxton or Skygarden/ MBS. Skyville at Dawson is free
    -Don't go to tourist trap food places. Hawker centers are cheaper
    -Funan/Capital/Citylink/marina Square/Millenia walk and Esplanade are all interconnected. You can spend a whole day in air-conditioned space
    -If you want an outdoor route, you can walk from Great world to MBS via
    -Vertigo bouldering gym at Beauty world has the cheapest single entry ticket $17, with Oyeyo a close second at $18.

      Remember to take the train and visit places OUTSIDE of the downtown marina area! There is sooooo much more than the "hamster wheel" almost all vbloggers repeat about. Singapore is so safe, so well connected by public transport, there is no Reason not to travel and see the real , authentic Singapore! Try spending a day in Katong / Joo Chiat area, Geylang Serai for the Malay cultural experience. From there you can make your way towards the beach at east coast. And if you are feeling energetic, rent a bike from there and cycle back to the marina area! There are park connector to cycle through safely!!!

    Do you know the name of the dark-colored hotel across the street from the hotel you stayed? I’m trying to figure out the name of the swanky hotel that I was put up in for free when something went wrong with my connecting flight. I remember the dark-colored facade of the building, and the very high ceiling in the room where the breakfast buffet was served. It was easily the fanciest place I have ever stayed.

    Train from airport 1 hour. 😮😮
    How long is it for Grab/taxi ride to Marina Bay Sands?

    • @HiKasandra
      @HiKasandra 8 месяцев назад

      Grab to Marina probably 30sgd to 45sgd. There's a surcharge for journeys starting from the airport. You can get to the regular east-west train line from Terminal 2 and take Grab from one of the stations there. Train to city hall central area is about 45 minutes. It just takes time to transfer out of the airport by train which could make it close to an hour. You can get a regular ez-link card if you don't want to use contactless. Ez-link cards are widely used. X

      Less than that, 45 mins probably so for the unfamiliarity. By grab, it is about 20mins as it would be via the highway along the east coast parkway.
