Ever considered adding some sound proofing mats under that bonnet? Having just a bare sheet of metal covering the engine bay does little to shield noises from the engine. Even if you do happen to like how the engine sounds, having sound proofing mats on that bonnet would make the sound still audible but not obnoxious. I can stand noisy cars. The noise make it seem like you are driving a "skorokoro" (beater car).
Thanks for the video 💪 I'm in the process of cleaning up my engine bay. I replaced a few old pipes and my water reservoir for my radiator recently. My next mission this weekend is to take off my tappet cover and sand it and spray it it with some heat resistant black. Its a bit worn and rusty. Obviously I'm going to put on a new gasket when I change it but is there any other things I would need to do or be careful of doing besides just replacing the gasket itself ? I own a 2008 vw citirox with 1.8i motor
Thanks buddy. Helped over come my fear
Hi mark vid is a ten no speacial tools needed thanks wat good 1
Watched your video many times, love it. Can you wash the battery with just the negative out instead of removing the whole thing?
Yes it is most important to cover any electronic components such as ecu and fusebox as well as coil packs
Guys , cover the carburretor two , Great Video ❤

Don't do it, it will overheat.

Mark I need to ask… can I put a BLM engine on a car previously with BAH engine without encountering problems?
Yes you can but ecu wont be right
Also what did you use when you detailed the engine?
Tool in a can
I would always remove the battery, just in case.
I don't see you spray engine cleaner or water on top of the battery
