Freddie must be smiling from heaven. He had one week to learn the song and his English was very basic at that time, he is much better now even if he still have this cute accent. You are right, he is the best male vocalist of this century and he is a very humble, generous person. A peace ambassador. This song is about a true life of a singer or an actor, and Dimash is able to express everything with his magic talent.
I was lucky to be at two of his concerts, and in the end of every concert he thanks his team and everyone who works on his show, by calling their names: from his musicans and dancers to a woman who makes his hair. He is such an incredible person who treats his team and his fans with all the respect possible

This was the Chinese "SINGER" contest in 2017, which was a breakthrough for Dimash into international fame. This contest is different from the Western talent shows, because it is for established singers by invitation only. Some of them are very popular with big fan bases. Dimash was invited as a sort of a wild card. He was unknown in China, the only foreigner and the youngest participant (22). I have read that the producers saw his performance during the visit of the Chinese president in Kazakhstan and also the fact that he had won other international competitions helped him to be invited.
This contest is about 4 months long with 14 episodes. There are no judges, the audience of 500 people vote for their favorite performances each episode.
Dimash started with his staple song SOS and won first place in the first episode. He became famous overnight with 600 million views of SOS on Weibo. His other performances on the show were also amazing. "The Show Must Go On" was on Episode 3. Overall he won second place, which some explain by the fact that he was a foreigner. Nevertheless the show made him a superstar in China and the videos of his Singer performances on RUclips gained him a lot of fans all over the world.

Fans of Dimash who are anxious for him to get exposure in the western world where he is still virtually unknown can do two simple things to help Dimash achieve his dreams: 1) Tune into the weekly Friday livestream on MTV's youtube channel (5-8 pm New York time) and type REQUEST DIMASH in the chat as many times as possible during the broadcast, and 2) Join nextdoor.com and post an enthusiastic comment titled something like "Introduction to the best singer of our time" with youtube links to several of his songs. Nextdoor operates in the US, Canada, Australia and 11 western Europe countries and reaches thousands of our neighbors in every community. Let's help Dimash gain the recognition he deserves in America and the rest of the western world!
This was at a Chinese competition called "The Singer" (or I Am Singer) and it was between well-known singers. He was considered a wild card, coming from another country. He was also the youngest performer to ever compete. He came in second and became an overnight superstar in China. As you could tell, he really didn't know much English but I think he did a fantastic job since he only had one week to learn the words. You're right.... he always thanks the musicians. Here's something I find very interesting regarding his being so humble..... I've never heard him take a lot of credit for his own hard work. He always gives his credit for being the vocalist he is to his teachers, his parents and grandparents, and his fans, as if he has nothing to do with it! It's amazing.

This is called The Singer. It is a completion between very well established singers. The organisers of the competition heard Dimash sing, and thought he would be good to have as a wild card entrant. So they invited him. This is what brought him to the attention of China, first and foremost and Dimash's Dears (fans) then started spreading the news. Thus he has become well known and loved by huge fanclubs all over the world - Dimash started singing from a very early age, and sang as a 3 year old. Then at 5 performed publically. His parents recognising his passion for music, encouraged him and provided experiences that would develop him musical further. Welcome to our world, dimashland. He amazes and shocks every performance. This show is a singing contest, all those back stage are his competitors. He sings sos on this comp too, 1st song they heard and he was 1st on stage, they all had to follow him and you can see the dread on there faces but they all loved him. React to sos again, he sings it different and it’s also amazing then opera 2, he will blow your mind every performance. I think you would also love ogni pietra, it’s like a cross between opera and rock it’s amazing and yet again he shocks you to the core. I love this humble young man. Unforgettable day live at gakku he wrote this song when he was a teenager, he sings a D8 note, no one has managed it but he makes it look like nothing, or the alien song from fifth element diva dance live at bastau also hello, Lionel Richie song, he sings it so well Lionel richie banned him from singing it again, his English then was poor, not now tho but it doesn’t spoil it one bit, in parts he says I love you in Chinese to thank the audience for there support. He went on that stage in China unknown but woke in the morning with body guards and 600 million followers. In opera 2 vitas sung the original song but couldn’t sing the chorus live, Dimash takes his song and smashes it, amazing, vitas is also a child and wanted to sue him so Dimash had to agree to never sing the song again, vitas then remade it, copying a lot of what Dimash did but failed miserably
Even until now when Dimash holds his solo concerts in massive stadiums he always thanks his musicians, backing singers, dancers, his family the whole team and he thanks his audiences for coming. He is the most generous benefactor and holds concerts to give tbe proceeds to his charities. He even gave 5 tons of food to poor families in Kazakhstan to help them in the pandemic he didn't want anyone to know that he does these things and was hurt when the story got out. He has recently become ambassador for several worldwide charities and has actually come out and asked his Dears (fans) to support these organisations. That's Dimash, kind and generous and very humble. When Brian May found out he had covered Freddie last song he watched on RUclips and congratulated him on his performance. This was 4 years ago, now a huge star in most of the world he is just the same but his voice is maturing and his range still expanding, his online concert,( one date left on Tixr.com January 31st you must get a ticket for Dimash Digital Show), showed this and his voice is capable of much more as he showed in his recent single Golden, Video imminent, his new song Be With Me from the concert, totally new sound, he shocks and surprises every time. There is no one like Dimash, he is a complete showman, a great song writer, a dancer, actor, model, singer everything in this one beautiful human being. His name Kudaibergen means Gift from God and thats just what he is, a very precious gift ❤

Di is absolutely humble. He doesn't have an ounce of ego in him. If you'd like a better look at what he's like as a person, I have some compilation videos on my channel. He has a wonderful interview on his channel as well, that gives a pretty deep look into his mind. The way he thinks and views the world never ceases to amaze me. We need more people like him in the world, tbh. He's one in a million. I hope he lives a long, happy, fulfilling life; if there's anyone who deserves it, it's him.

This is a competition in 2017 at 22 years of age he was invited to China to compete with professional singer, he was the youngest singer there, nobody know him in China he was a wild card in this competition. The director of China CMA gave reviews after he sang SOS that nobody in China can sing like Dimash. He had the technique vocal range amazing transitions and very clear voice .thanks for your great reaction. Thank you so much for this wonderful reaction. Of course we know Dimash has an accent. After all, he only had a week to learn the lyrics never mind the language. Other than that, I feel Dimash sang this Queen song beautifully. I actually like it better than the original. That’s my honest opinion and I respect everyone’s else as well. Dimash’s voice to me is simply outstanding! His performances are also very exciting and intriguing to watch also. I can’t keep my eyes off him when he performs. This was week 3 out of 14 weeks of the celebrity competition, the Singer 2017 tv show in China. His competition are already well known artists and he was invited as a dark horse! This show set him on the was to stardom! He is a wonderful person in every way!

Dimash is the opposite of a diva. The main reason why his fans are so passionate and protective of him is surprisingly gentle personality. Wherever cameras are following him on or off stage, airports, hotels, rehearsals, interviews he is always respectful and kind no matter who he interacts with - something that is exceptionally rare.

This was a 14 week 14 episode competition in China where Dimash was the youngest foreigner invited as an unknown wildcard against professional acts titled I Am A Singer 2017. The rules were set up so it was impossible for a foreigner to win so he got 2nd. The following year they changed the rules so anybody could win and that year 2018 Jessie J competed and won. Dimash was a guest for 1 episode in 2018 singing Hello & once in 2019 singing a Queen medley with Super Vocal Boys. To find the Medley you have to look on Facebook or Vimeo. The people backstage in the well-lit room are his competitors in “The Singer” tv competition. They’re all well known, seasoned Chinese singers with established fan bases. Dimash was invited as a wild card. The only foreigner; the youngest. He spoke only a few words of Chinese and had no idea how the Chinese audience-all invited music producers, promoters, professionals--would react to him. Each week the audience voted, and one contestant would be sent home.
Dimash came in 2nd; his contract stated that one of the Chinese contestants would win.The following year, the show changed the rules so that a foreigner wouldn’t be blocked from winning.

U may know by now. Incase not - this is a completion between very well established and famous singers. Dimash was invited by organisors as a wild card, they heard him sing n tight he'd be interesting to have. Dimash came 2nd. It was a Chinese show. In the back r the other contestants. One of them wyd have had to follow on from him. Dimash dings in 12 languages. He speaks 3 or may be more by now. And his English has improved a lot. He plays 7 or 8 instruments, composed and writes lyrics. Yes hard work from a young age and continued learning is what keeps him moving forward. Not sure if he has completed his doctorate of music. But that was the last development I heard, but it was a while ago he started. There are some lovely videos around about him. He ALWAYS recognises every member of his team at the end of his live shows. He is very well grounded, and his family are lovely too. Both mum n dad a singers.

His first English song learned in a week during a Chinese competition show. This was the 3rd week of a 13 week competition. He did not win but gained his popularity with the Chinese people and then on RUclips displaying his shows.

Джим с большим интересом и добрыми глазами говорит: «Возьмите ваш поклон, сэр. Большое спасибо! Димаш делает это все время (кланяется и всех, в т.ч. оркестр, благодарит). Меня это удивляет. Вот почему я думаю, что он такой скромный парень. Знаете, что многие из этих поп-звезд… Я пока не знаю, он - поп-певец? И к какой категории его отнести… Но многие из звезд, которые дивы, первое, что они делают, они чуть поклонившись, сразу отворачиваются и благодарят музыкантов. Димаш сначала благодарит зрителей, а потом музыкантов. Этот парень все время так делает, какое бы представление не было». На 7:55 Джим вернулся в самое начало: «Как я говорил, Queen - невероятно трудный художник, поэтому спеть кавер на их песни, если не знаешь, как - очень трудно. Я чувствую, что Димаш вышел за пределы списка каверов, которые мы могли видеть. Посмотрите на взгляды людей за кулисами, когда песня только началась - они думают, что вроде как это хорошо, как интересно, круто, красиво. Но я имею в виду, что когда песня прогрессирует, как её строит Димаш, то вы действительно уже можете видеть, как глаза (зрителей) наполняются слезами». В доказательство своих слов Джим крупным планом показывает парня-конкурсанта, хотя не знает, кто он. Этого парня показывают время от времени на протяжении всей песни, и Джиму интересно было наблюдать его реакцию, которая была схожа с его собственной, когда он слышал Димаша в первый раз. У Джима пошла сплошная путаница: «Он инопланетянин? и в нем живет 15 человек? или мы должны увидеть прямо сейчас (эпизод), как этот парень здесь стоит, когда песня прогрессирует, она просто застряла в микрофоне. И вдруг вы видите, как-будто он (Димаш) начинает расслабляться, а тот парень (зритель) смотрит прямо ему в глаза. Это безумие. … Как я уже сказал, Димаш на данный момент - лучший вокалист в мире. Это только мое мнение, но я думаю, что это так и есть. Фредди Меркьюри в свое время был одним из лучших певцов в мире. Пришло время для Димаша. Я должен продолжать идти с этим парнем, потому что я совершенно очарован не только из-за его вокального диапазона, но и им самим как человеком. Dimash was feeling very homesick as he was in China alone, so to produce this performance, it was amazing. He suddenly sees his father in the crowd and rushes to hug him and ask if he sang well. He didn’t know his father was there.

If you didn’t, it is not too late. You can buy a ticket and watch as many times as you want until January 23. There is is also an encore performance of the same concert on January 31 (note: if you bought a ticket before, you do not have to buy a new ticket to watch on the 31st).
