Just recently went to the golf shop to find the driver for me. After 1 solid hour of hitting all of the drivers on the monitor, we settled on the Callaway Rouge. Then we fine tuned everything else (shaft, settings). Took it out to the range yesterday and let me say, this driver is a must have for the average golfer. Especially if you slice a lot. Absolutely love watching your reviews and golf tips. Has helped me out tremendously. Thanks
You earned my subscription, mostly because i respect that you tested all 3 on the launch monitor, and tested them more then once on the course.. Now my opinion, on off centered hits, rogue i found goes the furthest, and if you hit rogue in the sweet spot compared taylor made in the sweet spot,iv discoverd i gained 5 yards with the rogue
I really like the way you do your reviews. Sometimes launch monitors don’t tell the whole story. Like the way you take the clubs to the course in real weather conditions. Keep up the great work.
Looks like it’s time to put the Callaway Rogue up against the TaylorMade M3, and the winner goes in your bag. Keep up the good videos, and I love the on course testing!!!
They fitted me for the Ping SFT as I was pushing the Max a lot. Next, I will try the other two. So important to have the club fitted to your own specifications.
No surprise the best/stiffest shaft won out. Evenflow is the best of the 3 shafts in the rogue, then the atmos in the m4 and the weak Alta in the ping. Would be good to see a fitted head 2 head of these or the current version.
You said it......Out of the box, the Rouge Shaft probably fits your specific swing characteristics the best......At least you did mention that disclaimer. Most reviewers omit that major detail....lol
Nice review. It shows that in the end most of these drivers are very comparable to each other if you are fitted to them. I liked the rogue, but choose the M4 as it seemed to have a better dispersion and distance for me and gave me more confidence in the end. Everyone would realistically get fitted and then take them on course for outdoor testing but your review gives us an opportunity to see how they should perform. I am also glad you talk about how they make you feel because in the end you swing with more confidence if you trust a club. Makes a big difference in the shot outcome as well.
have the Rogue woods and irons and love them. on another note - I wouldn't care if you knew nothing about golf I'd watch your videos, a lot more enjoyable than others on here, if the whole golf thing doesn't work out consider stand up I'd buy a ticket
Having all 3 of these in my SUV I’m regularly switching them like fresh underwear every 9 holes…… Ping most fairways 100%. M4 a distance monster 25%. Rogue is like your favorite shirt, never that boring to wear once you get used to it
Good video - thumbs up. But I'm more interested in your building. Very cool. What year was that built - are you on a golf course in a teaching facility? We Americans like that old stuff because we don't have it.:).
Station 2Station Hey, were a golf course in Yorkshire (home of the Yorkshire Union) the club is 125 years old and I believe the building is even older than that!!!
Would the different shafts have made a difference to your feel preference for the Rogue? Assuming also that they're the same length. Perhaps in future would you spec them the same?
gregoryw9 Hey thanks for the comment! Yeah they’re the same length and similar spec. Generally they’re the shafts you’ll find in the demo clubs on shelves and in most reviews. Like I say in all the reviews. Always helps to get fitted! Cheers 👍🏼⛳️
Nice review. This is the first time I have watched one of your videos and very surprised to see you swing. I have a very similar swing to yours! Makes it really difficult to get a decent lesson as most teachers are keen to change my back swing and I have hard time changing (I have tried many times) I play to 5 index so at this point reluctant to change as well. If you were in US I would come and see you to get advice on my swing. Also, I play Epic SZ currently I realize it’s hard to recommend a club without seeing me swing but do you think there is enough difference between Rogue and Epic to warrant a change?
Siamak Ansari thanks for the comment Siamak, yeah it’s a strange old backswing isn’t it! I had back surgery a while back and I’m sort of just trying to make it as functional as possible without worrying about the aesthetics. I’m a massive believer in that you don’t need it to look good to work good. Glad your enjoying the content! I’ll hit you up if I get over your way! In all honesty I haven’t hit the epic much but the main difference would be the look of the head. So if your happy with it I would stick for the season. Then maybe go see a fitter. Thanks again.
Hi James, yeah I too wondered about your backswing looking a bit unorthodox, but as a fellow Yorkshireman I would say, "If it in´t broke, don´t fix it".. I had a shoulder injury a few years ago so have somewhat limited shoulder rotation in my backswing too. Enjoying the good honest content though, keep up the good work :)
IM CURRENTLY USING M3 kinda Wished I went with the M4 since my friend let me borrow m4 head and was hitting it long and straighter! Loved the video man!!!
I’d love to know shaft and loft. Great video!! I’m a big shaft guy (ha that’s what she said) little Golf humor. Anyway, it would be cool to see you hit on a track man. Once you optimize your numbers then test outside.
Nicely done but your focus issues are a big distraction for me. Nothing in the studio was in focus, time to get a better camera or at minimum review your settings. Your content is excellent, just want to match it with your production quality.
Yeah, I found your latest video and saw the big positive changes on the production side. Great way to grow. As a professional photo and video guy, I always like to see it when people start to dial things in. We were all there at one point so I get it.
What are you shooting with now? I have an m50 and it is brilliant for the money. Focus is excellent and should solve your issues. One thing, it isn't as good at focusing when in 4K but you shouldn't care about that with what you are doing.
James Robinson Golf I really didn’t like the M3, preferred the M4 when I tried both at the range so it made sense to get fitted. I haven’t got my hands on the rogue yet.
I smash my m4, I dunno what it is but I’ve seen a lot of reviews on them but they don’t seem to be good for anyone but me, even though he obviously hit it well in this video and it is a fairway seeker for me..but that being said, I plan to get fitted for the sim next year..but 550 dollars is ridiculous, so maybe not

I really like the two part tests, first in the studio and then out on the course! Great content as usual :)
To each their own. I like the look of the g400 the most of the three.

Eric Puchalla thanks Eric! Really appreciate that! Glad your enjoying them!
That's probably one of the best reviews I've seen. Thanks.
Eddy Brand thanks Eddy! Glad your enjoying the videos! Feel free to share them with your mates! 😊👍🏼⛳️
can you do Inesis driver comparison to big brands please
Looks like it’s time to put the Callaway Rogue up against the TaylorMade M3, and the winner goes in your bag. Keep up the good videos, and I love the on course testing!!!
Thanks! And yeah I think the time will have to come 100%!!!
They fitted me for the Ping SFT as I was pushing the Max a lot. Next, I will try the other two. So important to have the club fitted to your own specifications.
Good man Jay.!

Love the sound of a good thrash with a driver (got to love the rogue as I currently play an x2hot driver)

Plo Massa couldn’t agree more. Really pleased you enjoyed the video. Feel free to share with your golfing mates 😊⛳️👍🏼
What were the spin numbers with each.

Hahaha thanks Jerry! Some people would say I don’t know anything about golf! 😀😂🤙🏼
Could we do same review with someone who fades or slices the ball.
James can you test the Wilson cortex driver
Would you be able to test the nike vapor fly driver against these drivers want to see how it stacks up great vid by the way

What about the sound between Rogue and M4?

Was that Fixby GC by chance?
Yes mate, that’s where most of my content is filmed
Yes to M3. Also a Cobra or two, maybe. Jaiilbreak? !!

"You don't hit the ball with your Backswing, Laddie"......

Loved the video man!!!
I prefer m3 personally both both very very good
Seems you hit the M4 further and closer to the fairway on the actual course. I feel like you had made up you mind before hitting all of the clubs.
Definitely not. I make my mind up on aesthetics but not performance, thanks for watching and commenting! What’s your favourite??

Great video, ⛳️⛳️
Jorge Gallegos Thanks Jorge!!! Glad your enjoying my work! 😊⛳️🎥

This was one of my first videos filmed over 6 months ago. Thanks though Scott! ⛳️🔥🎥👍🏼
Yeah, I found your latest video and saw the big positive changes on the production side. Great way to grow. As a professional photo and video guy, I always like to see it when people start to dial things in. We were all there at one point so I get it.
Scott Manthey cheers Scott! I’m thinking about upgrading to a canon m50. You think it would show much difference?
What are you shooting with now? I have an m50 and it is brilliant for the money. Focus is excellent and should solve your issues. One thing, it isn't as good at focusing when in 4K but you shouldn't care about that with what you are doing.
You’ve killed me, I’ve got my TM fitting on Wednesday, but think I really need to give the Rogue a bash.
Personally I do really like the M3, need to compare it with rogue
James Robinson Golf I really didn’t like the M3, preferred the M4 when I tried both at the range so it made sense to get fitted.
I haven’t got my hands on the rogue yet.
David Hall it always makes sense to get fitted!!! 👍🏼⛳️
James Robinson Golf do you think I need to try the Rogue before committing to the M4?
David Hall I would give it a go but i dare say a properly fitted M4 by a Taylormade fitter will by far surpass an off the shelf rogue anyway
James hits all of the shots
Rogue is 100 yards further up

Maybe if you had brought your mid-handicapper , more fairways might of been found !
LoL Just Kiddn' Enjoyed these 3 being tested by you !
8:01 loses his hat off the back
For my swing, the Cobra F8 out performed the Rogue.
Get fitted, get fitted, get fitted.clubs are too expensive today not to do this.
nice swing
No let's do it now? Shocking
This may be pre LDIN LOL
@@JamesRobinsonGolf haha even pre having an editor? Or a hat or porche
The Ping and the Rougue are ugly. I would buy the M4 on looks alone.
Bias'd oppinion.
